THE IMPLEMENTATION OF STORYBOARD IN TEACHING READING AT SEVENTH GRADE JUNIOR HIGH SCHOOL
This research examines the use of interactive media based on storyboards in teaching descriptive texts to seventh-grade students at SMP Negeri 3 Burneh. The main aim is to evaluate how reading and speaking skills can be integrated through storyboard activities and to assess students’ engagement and comprehension. A qualitative descriptive approach was utilized, involving observations, interviews, and documentation. The results showed that storyboard media significantly aid students in understanding descriptive texts, while also stimulating their creativity and boosting their motivation. Students showed positive attitudes, with greater participation and enjoyment observed during lessons. These findings highlight the potential of visual-based media as an effective alternative strategy in English language instruction
WHEN ENGLISH LEADS: REFRAMING EYL IN THE CONTEXT OF BAHASA INDONESIA STRUGGLES AT KINDERSTATION PRIMARY
This study investigates the influence of the English-based International Primary Curriculum (IPC) on Indonesian language development at Kinderstation Primary, a National Plus school in Indonesia. Focusing on the dynamics of early bilingualism, it explores how the dominance of English from a young age impacts students’ linguistic equilibrium. Employing a qualitative case study design, data were collected through classroom observations, interviews with teachers and parents, questionnaires, and student language samples. Findings reveal that lower-grade students (grades 1–2) remain in a transitional phase, predominantly using Indonesian in both learning and interaction. In contrast, upper-grade students (grade 3 and above) exhibit strong English proficiency and increasingly favor English for both academic and everyday contexts. Notably, there is a marked reduction in students’ confidence and active use of Indonesian. While most parents did not express concern, they emphasized the importance of balanced bilingualism. The study underscores the need for integrated bilingual instruction, cultural reinforcement, and curriculum refinement to ensure that students grow as globally competent individuals without compromising their national language and identity. These insights offer critical implications for English for Young Learners (EYL) practices within internationalized educational settings in non-English dominant contexts
THE USE OF CODE MIXING IN ELT: A CASE STUDY
This study explores the phenomenon of code mixing in English Language Teaching (ELT) at SMP IT Al Hasanah Prabumulih, focusing on the types, frequency, and pedagogical relevance of its use in the classroom. Conducted between December 2023 and June 2024, this qualitative descriptive research utilized classroom observations and interviews to collect data. The findings indicate that both teachers and students employed three main types of code mixing: intra-sentential, intra-lexical, and phonological variation. Among these, intra-sentential code mixing emerged as the most dominant. Teachers perceived code mixing as an effective instructional strategy that supports vocabulary acquisition and facilitates learner comprehension, especially in a multilingual setting. Theoretically, this study enhances the understanding of code mixing as a communicative and instructional resource within ELT contexts. Practically, the findings offer valuable implications for educators, suggesting that code mixing, when used strategically, can bridge linguistic gaps and increase classroom engagement. Future research is recommended to further examine the long-term effects of code mixing on language proficiency and to explore its application in other educational settings. Additionally, comparative studies across different school levels and regions may yield broader insights into the pedagogical potential of code mixing
MARITIME ENGLISH IN FOCUS: A RATER-BASED EVALUATION OF ESP COURSEBOOK QUALITY
This study assesses the quality of a Maritime English coursebook used in a leading vocational maritime education program in Indonesia. The evaluation is based on expert opinions and criteria drawn from English for Specific Purposes (ESP) principles. A qualitative descriptive method was used, supported by document analysis. Data were collected from four expert raters using a 48-item Likert scale evaluation sheet. The analysis was done manually, focusing on item trends and using thematic categorization based on ESP indicators. The coursebook is considered relevant to maritime contexts, with strengths in vocabulary use and realistic tasks. However, it shows inconsistency in instructional design and does not fully align with learner-centered approaches expected in ESP materials. The findings are useful for maritime education, ESP material development, vocational curriculum design, and coursebook evaluation in applied linguistics, maritime training centers, and language education programs. This study also presents an expert-based evaluation framework for ESP coursebooks in maritime settings, addressing the lack of research using qualitative analysis based on expert judgment rather than student feedback
ENHANCING LANGUAGE LEARNING THROUGH REASONED IMITATION IN THE USE OF NUMERICAL RESOURCES IN THE FLE CLASSROOM
This study explores students' perspectives on the integration of artificial intelligence (AI) in the course Exploitation des Ressources Numériques en Classe du FLE, within the French Language Education Program at Universitas Negeri Medan. The course emphasizes the linguistic use of numerical and digital resources to support French as a Foreign Language (FLE) instruction. Using a descriptive quantitative method, data were collected from second-semester students via questionnaires. The findings show that students positively view AI as a language support tool, particularly in idea generation, text translation, and teaching material development. AI encourages reasoned imitation, where learners not only replicate but also critically adapt AI-generated content for language teaching purposes. However, students also expressed concerns about excessive dependence on AI, emphasizing the importance of critical thinking, ethical use, and the teacher’s role in guiding proper language application. Technical issues such as limited internet access and device availability were also reported. In conclusion, students demonstrate a constructive yet cautious attitude toward AI in language learning. The study highlights the need to promote responsible and reflective use of AI in exploiting numerical resources to enhance linguistic competence in FLE classrooms
Strategi Bimbingan Konseling Guru Matematika dalam Mengatasi Kesulitan Belajar Diskalkulia pada Siswa SD Negeri Sumberadi 1 Yogyakarta
This study aims to analyze the strategies used by teachers in overcoming mathematics learning difficulties in students with dyscalculia at SD Negeri Sumberadi 1 Yogyakarta, as well as identifying supporting and inhibiting factors in the application of these strategies. Dyscalculia is a learning disorder characterized by difficulty understanding numbers, operating arithmetic, and solving math problems. This research uses a descriptive qualitative method with a phenomenological approach. Data were collected through direct observation and in-depth interviews with grade III math teachers. The results show that teachers apply various strategies, such as individual and group counseling guidance, continuous assessment, creative learning methods such as icebreaking and learning through play, and the use of visual media to facilitate student understanding. The main supporting factors are the availability of learning facilities and the support of the school principal. Obstacles faced include limited learning time, low parental awareness of children's needs, and a less conducive learning environment
Garden Of Well-Being: Pemberdayaan Karang Taruna Kelurahan Gebangsari dalam Meningkatkan Kesehatan Mental Melalui Urban Farming
Program Garden of Well-Being merupakan implementasi dari mata kuliah proyek kepemimpinan berbasis pengabdian masyarakat yang dilaksanakan di Karang Taruna Kelurahan Gebangsari. Bertujuan membangun kapasitas kepemimpinan pemuda melalui pendekatan integratif antara pertanian urban dan preventif psikososial. Kegiatan ini dirancang sebagai upaya terhadap isu ketahanan pangan dan meningkatnya tekanan kesehatan mental di kalangan pemuda perkotaan. Kegiatan ini terdiri dari serangkaian kegiatan sebagai berikut, (1) sosialisasi kesehatan mental, (2) pelatihan urban farming, (3) pelatihan kewirausahaan dan digitalisasi usaha. Program ini memberikan pengetahuan dan keterampilan baru bagi pemuda Kelurahan Gebangsari sehingga mendapatkan solusi permasalahan ketahanan pangan dan kesehatan mental. Pelaksanaan kegiatan mendapatkan respon positif dari partisipasi peserta kegiatan pelatihan, antusiasme dalam praktik pertanian urban, serta munculnya inisiatif kewirausahaan berbasis hasil urban farming
Pengaruh Struktur Modal dan Kebijakan Deviden Terhadap Nilai Perusahaan Food and Beverage
ABSTRACT
The reason for this study is to decide if there is an impact of capital design on the worth of food and drink organizations, to see if there is an impact of profit strategy on the worth of food and refreshment organizations, to decide if there is an impact of capital construction and profit strategy on the worth of food and drink organizations at the same time. Gathering information in this review from distributions distributed by the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX). ABSTRAK
Alasan penelitian ini adalah untuk memutuskan apakah ada dampak desain modal terhadap nilai organisasi makanan dan minuman, untuk melihat apakah ada dampak strategi laba terhadap nilai organisasi makanan dan minuman, untuk memutuskan apakah ada pengaruh strategi laba terhadap nilai organisasi makanan dan minuman. dampak konstruksi modal dan strategi laba pada nilai organisasi makanan dan minuman pada saat yang sama. Mengumpulkan informasi dalam ulasan ini dari distribusi yang didistribusikan oleh Bursa Efek Indonesia (BEI). Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh organisasi sub bidang makanan dan minuman yang tercatat di BEI periode 2016-2020. Contoh dalam penelitian ini adalah organisasi sub-bidang makanan dan minuman sesuai standar yang ditetapkan. Prosedur yang digunakan untuk menentukan variabel terikat dipengaruhi oleh variabel otonom, khususnya berbagai tes ujian. Uji f digunakan untuk memutuskan efek samping dari spekulasi secara bersamaan (sepanjang waktu) antara faktor otonom dan variabel terikat, sedangkan uji t digunakan untuk memutuskan konsekuensi teori secara terpisah (setengah jalan) antara faktor bebas. faktor dan variabel terikat dengan melibatkan pemeriksaan informasi dalam tinjauan ini diselesaikan dengan memanfaatkan adaptasi program terukur SPSS 21. Koefisien assurance digunakan untuk mengukur seberapa jauh kemampuan model dalam memahami variabel terikat. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa 1) konstruksi modal jelas mempengaruhi nilai perusahaan, 2) strategi laba mempengaruhi nilai perusahaan, 3) bahwa desain modal dan strategi laba secara tegas mempengaruhi nilai perusahaan.

PENINDAKAN OLEH PENYIDIK HAK-HAK TERSANGKA DAN TERDAKWA DALAM KUHAP BANTUAN HUKUM
Dalam KUHAP di jelaskan bahwa penyidik memiliki kewenangan diantaranya seperti penangkapan, penahanan, penggeledahan, dan penyitaan dengan tujuan untuk mengumpulkan bukti bukti yang nantinya akan digunakan untuk menemukan kebenaran materiil. Dalam proses pidana, seorang terdakwa dan juga tersangka memiliki hak hak yang dijamin oleh KUHAP. Hak hak tersebut mencakup hak untuk mendapatkan bantuan hukum, hak untuk tidak disiksa, hak untuk mendapatkan perlakuan yang manusiawi, serta hak untuk kasusnya segera diajukan ke pengadilan. Selain itu, KUHAP juga mengatur mengenai bantuan hukum, dimana setiap terdakwa dan juga tersangka berhak untuk mendapatkan pembelaan yang tepat dan juga memadai. Negara wajib untuk memberikan penasihat hukum bagi tersangka dan terdakwa terutama gratis bagi yang tidak mampu secara finansial, guna memastikan perlindungan hak asasi manusia dan melaksanakan peradilan yang adil.

KONSTRUKSI POLA GERAK TARI LENGGER SEKAR GADUNG DI GRUP MUGI RAHAYU KABUPATEN CILACAP
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan konstruksi pola gerak tari Lengger Sekar Gadung. Pendeskripsian ini dinilai penting guna mengetahui konstruksi pola gerak yang digunakan. Penelitian ini merupakan bentuk penelitian kalitatif. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah observasi, wawancara dan studi pustaka. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan konstruksi pola gerak tari Lengger Sekar Gadung pada dasarnya terdiri dari unsur sikap dan unsur gerak. Unsur sikap dan unsur gerak menjadi bahan dasar dalam penyusunan setiap rangkaian gerak. Dalam proses penyusunannya diikat dengan motif atau gerak dasar sebagai benang penyatu. Gerak dasar tersebut adalah rangkaian gerak penthangan asta. Artinya, rangkaian gerak penthangan asta menjadi pondasi dalam membuat berbagai variasi rangkaian gerak yang digunakan. Rangkaian gerak tersebut kemudian dihubungkan menggunakan gerak penghubung atau transisi. Selain memperhatikan motif, variasi, dan transisi, konstruksi pola gerak tari Lengger Sekar Gadung juga mempertimbangkan repetisi, klimaks, proporsi, pengembangan logis, serta kesatuan. Tujuan hal tersebut adalah untuk mencapai keutuhan guna memberikan vitalitas dalam menyampaikan makna atau esensi yang diungkapkan.
