    Get PDF
This study examines the management of the School Literacy Movement (GLS) in fostering students' literacy interest at Al Ishom Jepara Middle School. Using a descriptive qualitative approach, data were collected through interviews, observations, and documentation, then analyzed through data collection, reduction, presentation, and conclusion drawing. The findings show that the GLS program is implemented in three stages: planning, implementation, and evaluation. The planning stage involves setting program objectives, assessing available resources, and forming a GLS team. The implementation stage consists of routine activities such as reading Asmaul Husna, library visits, and Quran recitation, followed by development activities like creating reading corners and wall magazines. The learning stage includes short story writing, Quran reading and writing (BTQ), and scientific extracurricular activities. The evaluation stage indicates that the program has been effective in enhancing students' reading and writing skills. The study concludes that a well-structured GLS program significantly contributes to literacy development. It is recommended that schools continuously optimize resources, encourage student participation, and integrate literacy programs into daily learning activities to sustain long-term literacy interest

Potensi Oli Bekas Sebagai Bahan Bakar Kompor Dapat Ditingkatkan Melalui Proses Pre Treatmeant

    Get PDF

    Get PDF
fisheries are the mainstay of the coastal community's economy, and Sondong fishing gear is still commonly used. Although Sondong is considered effective, it raises ecological concerns because it risks damaging the seabed habitat and produces high bycatch. This study aims to describe fishing communities' perceptions of Sondong fishing gear regarding its effectiveness and impact on fish resources and the environment. The study employed a quantitative descriptive approach with purposive sampling of active fishermen in Sungsang, conducted in November 2024. The results show that fishermen have a strong understanding of Sondong because it has been widely used and passed down informally. They perceive Sondong as an effective and profitable tool, though this perception is changing as catches decline. The ecological impact has not been widely recognized, and regulations tend to be rejected due to economic dependence. As fishermen's perceptions are more oriented toward the economy than ecology, an educational approach is needed to encourage the transition to more sustainable fishing gear

Chili (Capsicum spp.) are members of the Solanaceae family, which includes many cultivated plants. They are frequently used by farmers and have a spicy taste that makes them a popular ingredient in Indonesian cuisine. The objective of this study is to observe the effect of citronella extract on the inhibition of anthracnose disease caused by Colletotrichum capsici in chili plants. This disease, caused by the aforementioned pathogen, manifests as blackish-brown patches on the affected area. The affected area undergoes desiccation and detachment over time. The experimental design employed a Group Randomized Design (GRD) method, comprising six treatments (P0, P1, P2, P3, P4, P5), each repeated five times. The experimental treatment involved the application of citronella extract, varying in dosage concentration among the treatments. This research was carried out on the Agrotech Training Center land of the Faculty of Agriculture, Sriwijaya University
