Forms of Interaction Between Supply Chain Strategy and Business Structures in the Far Eastern Federal District
For Supply Chain executives the first step is to clearly understand how the enterprise chooses to compete. This is important not only for the obvious reason of working together in the same direction, but also because Supply Chain has to enable the Business Strategy; it is not merely an operational department. According to the data of survey conducted by the All-Russian Center for the Study of Public Opinion, more than half of the employers of the Far Eastern Federal District are faced with the problems of staffing, which is explained by the inconsistency of the requirements of enterprises with the quality of supply chain strategy. The organization of cooperation between business structures and supply chain strategy of the region ensures an increase in the quality of performance, stimulates a decline in unemployment and population shift from the Far East, which affects the socio-economic development of the federal district. In addition, the university-enterprise partnership helps to reduce the time for the development and implementation of research products, the commercialization of knowledge, the development of entrepreneurship, and, as a result, an increment in GRP and the innovative potential of the region. Therefore, the main objective of this article is to analyze the main forms of collaboration between supply chain strategy and business in the Far Eastern Federal District to determine the regions of the Far Eastern Federal District and supply chain strategy, which are characterized by a high degree of involvement of the business sector of economic activity into the activities of management. The main sources of information were informational and analytical materials for monitoring the performance of institutes in 2018. To provide thematic justification of the research, an analysis of the regulatory framework for the purpose of identifying the role of business structures in solving the socio-economic problems of territories has been carried out
An Investigation of the Supply Chain Strategy for Social Carrying Capacity: A Study of Pangkor Island, Perak, Malaysia
Tourism is one of the fastest-growing sectors and plays a vital role in economic development in most countries, including Malaysia. With an extraordinary growth of tourist arrival, it has given effect on the environment, social and economic structures. Of these, the primary purpose of the current study is to identify the perception of domestic tourists on the intensity of social carrying capacity at Pangkor Island, Perak, Malaysia. This quantitative study is designed using a survey questionnaire (self-administered) to 332 domestic tourists during four phases of public holidays as a tourist option to visit Pangkor Island. The results of this study indicated that the Social Carrying Capacity (SCC) assessment is based on tourists' response, crowding rate at a tourist spot/location and the satisfaction level of tourists while travelling to the area. The perception of domestic tourists is divided into three parts, namely; satisfaction with the facilities, quality of experience and acceptance from the locals. Also, using the People at One Time (PAOT) method, respondents were given five options and picture showing the tourist situation during their visit to Pulau Pangkor. From PAOT analysis, 37.5% tourists chose Picture C followed by picture D (31.2%), Picture B (11.8%), picture E (8.1%), Picture F (7.7 %) and picture A (3.7%). As a result, from these two methods, SCC in Pangkor Island is still acceptable for domestic tourists. This study provides significant information to stakeholders to make sure that SCC at Pangkor Island is within tourism activities control. Keywords—Social Carrying Capacity, Tourism Carrying Capacity, Intensit

Supply Chain Management in Delivery of Goods to Increase Customer Loyalty in Electronic Commerce
Abstract— Delivery performance provides an indication of how successful the supply chain is at providing products and services to the customer. In modern conditions, electronic commerce of supply chain is developing very dynamically. The significant increase in the level of competition in this sector due to this leads to the need to find new ways to attract and retain customers in supply chain system. In this regard, the relevance of the study related to finding criteria for the competitiveness of online stores is not in doubt. The paper discusses aspects concerning the formation of competitive advantages of online stores to gain customer loyalty and improve the quality of service. Such advantages are primarily associated with increased comfort for buyers along the entire path of making a purchase, starting with the search and accumulation of information about products and purchase conditions and ending with the receipt of goods. The authors have studied factors significant for customers to choose online stores, as well as the reasons for refusing online purchases. Buyers in the Internet commerce segment note among the main reasons for refusing a purchase the difficulties in returning goods purchased on the network and in solving problems arising during the purchase and delivery of an order; they also express concern about the quality of the goods, and also note problems with the delivery of goods. As a result of the study, it was found that the factors of convenience of making an order, as well as the convenience of receiving a purchase, are priority, while the price factor has somewhat lost its significance. When choosing an online store, a significant number of buyers study the conditions for the delivery of goods and make purchase decisions based on supply chain process. At the same time, it becomes essential for buyers to customize the delivery parameters to suit their needs
Analysis of Efficiency of Different Distribution Channels for Select Vegetables – An Analytical Study of Telangana Region
The purpose of this paper is to understand the efficiency of different distribution channels for vegetable and propose a model for improvement. Efficiency is the major indicator of the supply chain performance. This analysis was part of a study to find the efficiency of different channels for vegetable supply chain and to find out what are the reasons and how farmers can get the right remuneration for their vegetables. The data was collected based on questionnaire from 410 farmers who are using different channels. The data analysis is based on the sample data for four districts of Telangana and three selected vegetables which are assumed to be representative of the overall sample frame. It was observed that there is significant variation of efficiency for different channels. There is no systematic study to understand the different contributing factors on efficiency and how it is different for different channels. This study will help in understanding the efficiency for different channel from farmer’s perspective. A framework is proposed which will help in addressing the challenges of vegetable supply chain to improve the situation for farmers by reducing the cost and losses across supply chain and also getting a better price

The direct positive influences were equivalent to 0.42 and 0.60 respectively which were statistically significant at the 0.01 level. The study of casual relation of logistics management efficiency in four aspects showed that the positive influence on sustainable performance were equivalent to 0.16, 0.03, 0.75 and 0.25 respectively which were statistically significant at the 0.05 level
Reaching an Agreement for the Elimination of Child Labour from the Supply Chains
This article examines how child labour can be eliminated from various supply chains in Bangladesh. Reinforcing this issue is important to comply with international labour standards on child labour and to avoid potential trade sanctions of various types. Drawing upon the examples of other mechanisms to implement international labour standards particularly in a situation when domestic initiatives remain largely ineffective, it is argued that various local and international actors in the supply chains have a key role to play in actively enforcing this international standard to help support an economy free from the curse of child labour. This article proposes that an international legally binding agreement among global importers, unions, and local stakeholders to improve the child labour situation may provide the best mechanism to eliminate this problem from various supply chains in Bangladesh
Examining the Supply Chain Integration Impact on Economy by Regression Model
Abstract— In this study, we examine the current state of supply chain integration, estimate the economic impact of inadequate integration, and identify opportunities for governmental organizations to provide critical standards infrastructures that will improve the efficiency of supply chain communications. The development of methods to reduce the impact of multicollinearity in the construction of a linear regression model is an urgent task of applied econometrics. The article proposes a method for reducing multicollinearity in the construction of a linear regression model for evaluating the supply chain impact on economy. In the case of non-stationary multidimensional time series, it is assumed that all variables have a polynomial trend. Each predictor xj(t) is decomposed into a trend and a remainder uj(t), and then a regression y(t) is constructed for time t and the remainder uj(t). In this case, the regression coefficients for uj(t) are equal to the regression coefficients for xj(t), but they are estimated using less correlated regressors SCM. The article gives a quantitative assessment of the increase in the accuracy of the forecast of the considered model in comparison with other models. In the case of spatial variables, the proposed approach is that some Xj regressors SCM correlated with others are replaced by the sum of two summands. One of them is the predicted value of Xj obtained from the regression equation Xj on the predictor correlated with it; the other is the remainder of this regression Uj. As a result, we get a new set of regressors SCM that are much less correlated with each other. The new regressors - the remnants of Uj - are susceptible to meaningful interpretation. However, the new regression equation changes the regression coefficients only for variables that act as dependent variables in auxiliary regressions. The application of the proposed method is illustrated by examples through the supply chain process. Calculations are performed in the R software environment
Lean Supply Chain Management and its Impact on Competitiveness
Due to the increased competition in the business environment and the constant changes in consumer demands and needs, companies should be characterized by adaptability, flexibility, as well as strategic and operational alignment between the different links in their supply chain. However, knowledge is inadequate about the way in which lean supply chain management should be implemented. Such knowledge is more limited even in some developed countries. The aim of this research is to examine the relationship between the implementation of lean supply chain management and business competitiveness. To achieve this, a survey was distributed to businesses of the Greek economy that currently goes under major changes. One important finding was that lean supply chain management leads to a strong competitive advantage, especially through cost and waste reduction. Further, it was found that lean supply chain management results in meeting customer requirements, increased profitability, reduction of inventory levels, the introduction of just-in-time systems and increased sustainability. However, organizational structure, employees’ resistance to change, organization’s rules, procedures and policies, as well as lack of robust and professional relationships with suppliers, are obstacles to be overcome when implementing lean supply chain management systems
