Abstract— The article shows a study of the role of supply chain management of innovative biologically valuable food products in the industrial development and economy of the region. The analysis of the process of updating the assortment of food products based on the introduction of innovative developments and production principles conducive to the release of a healthy diet product (innovative product) is presented. The main provisions of the concept of healthy food products, the category of “innovative food products” are analyzed. The article systematizes the definitions of the concept of “innovative product”. Based on the results of the study, features, functional properties and characteristic features of an innovative food product are determined. Based on the concept of “innovative food product”, the concepts of “new food product”, “improved food product”, and “modified food product” are formulated. A classification model of innovative food products is presented. Based on it, it is shown that the development, production and sale of an innovative food product two functions: economic and social. The study made it possible to formulate the main criteria that make it possible to attribute a food product to a group of innovative food products. The article describes the characteristics of an innovative food product, describes market and consumer properties. The author's definitions of concepts are given: “innovative food product”, “new food product”, “improved food product”, “modified food product”. A classification of innovative food products is proposed

Current Practices and Insights on Supply Chain Risk Management in the Construction Industry: A Review

    Get PDF
This paper reviews the related studies on the current practices and insights in supply chain risk management within the construction industry. Articles published between 2000 and 2018 are classified and analyzed using simplified systematic literature review, which is performed through the material collection, category selection and literature matrix. While the research on supply chain risk management started relatively recently, much of these studies were generic and not contextualized for the construction industry. Construction supply chains risk treatment and monitoring phase require further attention, with inputs from all the supply chain actors in the upstream linkage. Only peer-reviewed journal articles were considered in this study. And it is hoped that the findings will serve as a guide to construction managers who would like to better understand how risks in the upstream and downstream linkages of construction supply chains are managed. We acknowledged that the implementation of construction supply chain risk management is immature, and there is a dearth of literature in this area. This study also identifies the risk management process currently practised in the industry and provides a framework for literature classification. The study identifies literature gaps that can provide opportunities for future research in the area of CSCRM. It also discusses future research directions in this area

Rice Price Market Integration and Supply Chain Management (SCM) in Indonesia

    Get PDF
The purpose of this research is to analyze rice market integration and SCM among major cities in Indonesia. The data are the average monthly rice prices in 33 major cities from January 2014 to December 2017 taken from the Central Statistics Bureau of Indonesia. The research methods are non–time series analysis and time series analysis. The results from the non–time series analysis show that almost all rice prices have significant market integration, but a few cities do not. The time series analysis covers only a few of the cities included in the research; however, due to the requirement that the Error Correction Model (ECM) data must be stationary. The results from the time series analysis show that all cities analyzed have significant long-run integration, but in the short run, only a few cities have market integration. The results of this research can support government intervention in spreading the rice price in a few cities to other cities in Indonesia

The improvement of society prosperity can only be achieved if the regional government has sufficient resources, both in the form of financial and non-financial resources. This study aims to examine the effect of government size and supply chain fiscal decentralization on prosperity. This research was conducted in all provinces in Indonesia in the 2014-2018 period. Prosperityis measured by the human development index, which the source is from BPS-RI, the size of the regional government is measured by the total income earned in a year, and supply chain fiscal decentralization is measured through revenue sharing funds, general allocation funds, and special allocation funds sourced from BPK-RI. Testing was done with multiple linear regression and the results of the study showed that government size and supply chain fiscal decentralization have a positive and significant effect on prosperity. This finding is empirical evidence of the importance of government size as measured by regional income and supply chain fiscal decentralization for regional governments in order to accelerate the improvement of prosperity for prosperity

Abstract In higher education, e-learning is gaining more and more impact, this new kind of traditional teaching and learning can be practiced in many ways. Several studies have compared face-to-face teaching to online learning and/or blended learning in order to try to define which of the formats provides, e.g., the highest learning outcome, creates the most satisfied students or has the highest rate of course completion. However, these studies often show that teaching and learning are influenced by more than teaching format alone. The review has a special interest in professional bachelor student’s education, and it focusses on the impact of e-learning on knowledge, skills, attitudes and satisfaction of students. The findings from the research papers included in the review show that students should have e-learning courses in Learning Management System. These courses will help them understand the aims of e-learning and the benefits of using it in developing their skills in learning

Electronic arbitration (hereinafter referred to as e-arbitration) is a combination of law and technology. Even though e-arbitration has not been implemented yet in Malaysia, the Malaysian authorities should be ready to meet the non-legal requirements for implementing it in the future as compliment to the existing traditional arbitration method. By using legal research methodology, this article endeavours to examine how the future implementation of e-arbitration in resolving the Islamic banking dispute can be improved especially in handling cyber security. The collected data is analytically and critically scrutinised using content analysis method. The article found that enhancing cyber security is a pressing need to improve the future implementation of e-arbitration in Malaysia successfully. Therefore, the article recommended several legal and technical measures to enhance cyber-security in e-arbitration in Malaysia

The main objective of the present study was to examine the impact of empowerment, compensation and training on satisfaction and supply chain integration. Moreover, the mediating role of supply chain integration between the impact of empowerment, compensation and training and satisfaction is examined as well. The data is collected from the employees of hotels in Indonesia through cluster sampling. The response rate of the present study was 68%. For the analysis purpose, PLS-SEM technique was used. The results revealed that employee satisfaction is directly impacted by empowerment, compensation and training and satisfaction; supply chain integration mediates as well between these relationships. The findings of the study are important for the practitioners of the supply chain in the hotel industry in developing strategies to enhance employee satisfaction through supply chain integration and other HRM Practices

Basics of Building and Analyzing Adaptively Targeted Forecast Models for Supply Chain Management

    Get PDF
Abstract— Forecasting is an under estimated field of research in supply chain management. To describe the methodology for building adaptively targeted forecast models based on the recursive least squares method and to show the possibility of using these models in economic analysis. Two cases were studied, which include targeting by a single given target value and by a target trajectory described by several consecutive values. It was shown that for the autoregressive model in the case of setting several target values, the multistep procedure of the recursive least squares method is not applicable. It was also possible to clarify the necessity of introducing changes into the adaptive regression analysis scheme for the case when the adaptively targeted model is built on the basis of the autoregressive one. Procedures for building adaptively targeted models for supply chain management of setting target conditions have been proposed. The adaptive regression analysis technique has been modified for the case of an adaptively targeted autoregressive model
