A Meta-Heuristic Hybrid Algorithm for the Rich Vehicle Routing Problem
This paper presents an enriched variation of the original Vehicle Routing Problem (VRP), in which traffic zones, CO2 emissions and heterogeneity of vehicles are all taken into consideration. The objective of the model is to minimize the total travelled distance, while assigning specific customers to specific type of vehicles and maintaining the emissions of the entire fleet under a specified limit. The proposed hybrid algorithm (TDHF-GVRP) is composed of two nested genetic algorithms, interacting with each other as well as with other local search optimization methods. The external genetic algorithm (parent) is responsible for the assignment of customers to vehicle types, whereas the internal (child) algorithm is responsible for solving the vehicle routing problem for each category of vehicles separately

A Study of Global Value Chain Through Islamic Economic Framework
Global Value Chain is a useful tool for tracking global production patterns for improving the economies of countries in the global economy with highly complex industrial interactions explicitly for poor and developing countries. This study seeks to link several previous studies, which discussed GVC with Islamic economic Fiqh. Of these, the objective of the current investigation is to study a GVC through Islamic economic framework (Fiqh). This study designed using Qualitative approach with reviewing the relevant literature (themes and topics). The results of this study found that the global dimension of GVC through the concept of Fiqh is input output, which consists of the sharia principles such as moral, quality and priority scale. Further, its distribution intended for Da'wah, education, social and economy. For geographical scope, it consists of a trade negotiation space of various countries. In conclusion, the structure of government in spending money to society who are weak in the faith will lead to deviation of economic activity from the right path. Abstract— The level of economic security of an entity is heavily influenced by administrative and legal status of Supply chain management. Legal status of Supply chain management determined specifics of his work. Supply chain management belongs to the leaders of the economic-financial and administrative units of the organization. Emphasis on professional competence, labour functions and legal status of Supply chain management in ensuring the economic security of an entity in the light of the introduction in Russian practice of a professional standard "Accountant" is made. The widespread use of the practice of the Russian companies of professional standards, including those related to the procedures of the organization and conduct of audit and control services will organize work on compliance with economic security, develop and implement a system of events. The impact of accounting on the basis of professional standards "Accountant", "Internal Comptroller" and "Internal auditor" and labour competencies and functions on a system of economic security of an entity is examined. In modern conditions the professionalism and qualification of accountants, including Supply chain management, define their importance in providing economic security will allow program implementing a national system for assessing qualifications
SCOR-Based Information Modeling for Managing Supply Chain Performance of Palm Oil Industry at Riau and Jambi Provinces, Indonesia
Abstract— The challenges for providing a concise performance reports along all components in Palm Oil agro-industry supply chain are urgent particularly in terms of managing each metrics of the stakeholders. This SCOR (Supply Chain Operation Reference)-based information model attempts to represent real requirements of each stakeholder. Initially, all relevance stakeholders are identified through field observation and interviews. Each SCOR model attribute, i.e. agility, assets, cost, reliability and responsiveness are mapped into respectfully definition in the field of Palm Oil agro-industry. The related attribute is derived into metrics of evaluation for measuring specific performance according to the formulation. In order to report a definitive performance measurement in each attribute, benchmarking from best practice is taken. This model functionality is evaluated by using real world data derived from two major provinces of Palm Oil agro-industry in Indonesia, namely Jambi and Riau provinces. Object relational database is generated and stationed in a cloud-based server. A framework of business process modeling and notation integrates these required processes of the model with the cloud-based database access. The integration of JavaScript (Bonita soft) based front-end with the SCOR-based database operation is ready for mobile and desktop usage. A series of visualization is provided to support fast understanding in each performance measurement, such us spider chart, histogram and line chart as well as ETL (extract, transform, load) features. A full comparison based on geographical location is ready for inquiry for each user level (farmer, trader and palm oil mill).Keywords—Agro-industry, Information, Palm Oil, Performance, SCO
Coronavirus (COVID-19): How to Secure the Supply Chain? – A Case Study
Supply chain global dependency has been arisen in the last years and supply chain managers want to know if the manufacturing purchasing managers’ index and export/import dependency rate data are effective qualitative key performance indicators (KPIs) to monitor possible supply chain risk effects in a proper way. The aim of this study is to address this question performing an analysis of the current KPIs in the main affected countries in Europe (Italy) and Asia (China). After a review of the literature on Supply Chain Risk Management (SCRM) and published official statistics in China, Italy and Germany, a case study focused on a set of interviews with practitioners based on a firm located in Germany was used to generate uncaptured insights in previous research of the area. Official KPIs and firms’ supplier specific KPIs like delivery performance are key to monitor possible Supply chain disruptions. Moreover, increasing regular bidirectional communication with firms’ suppliers generates trust and it is one of the most critical issues which can positively influence on firm’s performance. A regular follow-up of authorities’ updates in terms of restrictions at local, national and international level should be considered too. This paper identifies manufacturing purchasing managers’ index and export/import dependency rate data as effective qualitative KPIs to monitor possible supply chain risk effects and disruptions in a structured manner and to outline future research opportunities in the field of SCRM
The Influence of Supply Chain Integration on Organizational Performance: From the Point of View of Organizational Capability in Indonesia
The current research intends to analyze the implications of three aspects of supply chain integration (SCI) on three types of firm performance (FP) from the organizational capability (OC) context. The analysis examines the associations between internal integration (II), consumer integration (CI), supplier integration (SI), supplier-oriented performance (SOP), market-oriented performance (MOP), and financial condition from the organizational capacity point of view, based on the data of 670 firms in Indonesia. The structural equation model is used to carry out the analysis. The findings suggest that internal integration strengthens external integration and explicitly and implicitly increases FP through internal and external collaboration. Furthermore, complete or partial meditation between supply chain integration and FP are revealed and thus demonstrate the contradictory results regarding SCI on FP in earlier investigations.
A Literature Review on The Design of Intelligent Supply Chain for Natural Fibre Agroindustry
Natural fibre is an environmentally friendly raw material that has a great potential to develop, and is abundantly available in nature [1]. Currently, the growth of natural fibre processing industries in the world has been increasingly important [2]. Processing of abundant natural fibre in both upstream and downstream productions requires effective and collaborative supply chain management in terms of information sharing. Thus, an intelligent system would be implemented in supply chain management from upstream to downstream.
Based on review of 46 scientific papers discussing on types of natural fibre, process, technology, and methods, as well as application areas of natural fibre in downstream industries.
According to review on different aspects in 55 scientific papers, there were 5 aspects mapped, i.e. supply chain analytic, value chain, performance, collaboration, big data, and decision support system.
A concept of 4.0 industry underlies utilization of opportunities for application of supply chain analytic [3]. Upcoming research opportunities include mediating relationship in supply chain network by utilizing Internet of things (IoT) and Big data (BD), in a collaborative relationship to use information sharing. The most possibly contributing research is the development of collaboration between supply chain and genetic algorithm [4]. Integration between production and inventory planning becomes an approach that utilizes Particle swarm optimization (PSO) by developing production planning [5], and production and inventory planning [6].
There is a research opportunity in the design of intelligent supply chain for natural fibre agroindustry by implementing IoT and BD as a tool in supply chain analytic, collaboration through Collaboration prediction forecasting and replenishment (CPFR) that occurs between stakeholders with the aim of improving agroindustry supply chain performance in production integration material and inventory, and performance measurement by integrating the Value chain operation reference (VCOR) model developed in supply chain analytic
