The Effect of Awareness of Tax Laws, Understanding of Tax Laws and Tax Compliance Behaviour on Supply Chain Management
Abstract- The objective of this study is to explore the role of tax education in supply chain management (SCM) among Indonesian supply chain companies. To approach this objective, the study examined the effect of awareness of tax laws and understanding of tax laws on tax compliance behaviour. After that, the collective role of awareness of tax laws, understanding of tax laws and tax compliance behaviour was examined on SCM. Managerial employees were selected as the respondents to collect the primary data. Total seven hypotheses were established concerning the relationship of awareness of tax laws, understanding of tax laws, tax compliance behaviour and SCM to achieve the objective. A total number of two hundred (200) survey questionnaires were distributed among the respondents. All the hypotheses were supported by the current study. It was found that tax education has a significant relationship with SCM. Awareness of tax laws and understanding of tax laws supports SCM practise among Indonesian supply chain firms. Tax compliance behaviour enhances the positive effect of awareness of tax laws and understanding of tax laws on SCM. Therefore, tax compliance behaviour is a mediating variable to enhances the effect of tax education on SCM
Innovation Capability and Supply Chain Management: Empirical Study of Indonesian Traditional Herbal Medicine Products
Abstract— In today's scenario, supply chain processes have been greatly influencing businesses and trades globally. The purpose of this research is to analyze the effects of the supply chain management on the model capabilities of innovation and competitive advantage of Indonesia traditional herbal medicine. Design research is qualitative and quantitative approaches and using data collecting technique: FGD and survey sample. The research sample was 150 people consumers of Indonesian traditional herbal medicine. The analysis tool is the Structural Equation Modeling (SEM). The results show that there is a relationship between positioning product and competitive advantage. Competitive advantage is the variable consequences of innovation capability and positioning product Indonesian traditional herbal medicine products

Abstract- Innovation activity plays a crucial role in the supply chain and socio-economic development of society, both globally and at the level of individual economic entities. Competent and, as a result, effective management of innovation activities contributes to the satisfaction of the material and intellectual needs of society, provides vital functions of society with fundamentally new benefits and leads to a positive economic effect for the economic entities at the micro, meso, and macro levels. An exploratory case study approach to answer the research questions has been conducted in order to develop a model for innovation management within a supply chain of large manufacturing firm. To study the features of the formation of the innovation activity practice and the current state of innovation activity in the Russia; to identify the causes of technological backwardness of Russia and assess the potential for the development of innovation activity to strengthen the position of the state at the global level
Impact of Supply Chain Capabilities on Supply Chain Performance: A Case of Thai Electronic Industry
The present study empirically investigated the supply chain capabilities to determine the supply chain performance in electronic industry of Thailand. Globally, competition has increased due to business expansion and global phenomenon. The study investigated the relationship between supply chain capabilities as measured by supplier partnership and innovativeness in turbulent and highly competitive environment. The current study is conducted on electronic industry of Thailand, to investigate the influence of supplier partnership and supply chain performance and influence of innovation on supply chain performance. The study is unique in determining the moderating role of technology adoption for supply chain between independent variable and dependent variable. The analysis of the study suggested that supplier partnership influence supply chain performance, similarly innovation influence the supply chain performance, moreover moderating effect was also reported and demonstrated in analysis phase of the study by significant change in the effect of independent variables on dependent variables
The Effect of Service Quality on Purchase Intention with Mediating Role of Store Image
This study emphasizes to measure the effect of service quality on purchase intention with mediating role of store image. The study majorly focused on paint brands available at stores of Manama, Bahrain. Reliability of data, descriptive analysis and Pearson correlation matrix was calculated by using SPSS. The relationship among study variables is tested trough structural equation modeling (SEM) by using AMOS 24. Results highlighted that there is significant and positive relation between service quality and purchase intention of private label paint brands. Moreover, it was found that store image mediates the relationship between service quality and purchase intention of private label paint brands
Impact of Social Customer Relationship Management on Customer Retention of Islamic banks in Kuwait: The Mediating Role of Customer Empowerment
In order to investigate the impact of social customer relationship management on customer retention through customer empowerment, this research paper was took place using a sample of social media users who were customers of Islamic banks in Kuwait. An online survey-founded questionnaire was conducted to gather data. A total of 600 questionnaires were distributed to participants in this study and 417 questionnaires were returned. On the basis of IBM SPSS 24 and IBM AMOS 22, data analysis confirmed that customer empowerment significantly mediated the effect of social CRM on customer retention. That is, social CRM was found to have a significant effect on customer empowerment and customer retention and indicated that customer empowerment had a significant influence on customer retention. Consequently, it was concluded that customer empowerment as a key pillar of social CRM positively effectuates customer outcomes such as customer retention
Relationship between Market Competition and Green Supply Chain Management Practices in Manufacturing Industry
There is a growing market and institutional demands for companies to implement green practices to produce environment friendly products and services. Therefore, more companies are integrating the green practices into their operations, which have increased the market competition. In order to improve their competitiveness in the market, companies are forced to adapt to changing market requirements by implementing practices that could differentiate themselves, such as green supply chain management (GSCM). This study aims to understand the relationship between market competition and GSCM practices among manufacturing companies in Penang and Johor, Malaysia. Data gathered from a survey among the companies were analyzed using descriptive and correlation analysis. The results revealed that the level of market competition in the manufacturing companies’ business environment and the implementation of GSCM practices were relatively moderate. A Spearman’s correlation analysis show that market competition had a moderate positive relationship with all GSCM practices studied, namely green purchasing, product eco-design, cooperation with customers, reverse logistics and internal environmental management. The findings highlight the role of market competition in promoting environment friendly behavior in manufacturing industry. In addition, they also show that more should be done by the industry to improve the sustainability of their supply chain practices
The Mediating role of Sustainable Supply Chain in the Relationship between ECO-Strategic Orientation and the Reverse Logistic in Thai Electronic Industry
The current study provides important insight in the relationship between sustainable supply chain, ECO-strategic orientation and the reverse logistic. The SEM-PLS is used to analyses the data collected from the electronic industry of Thailand’s findings of the current research offer alternatives for the managers who are keen to develop sustainable supply chain initiatives. Significance of strategic orientation i.e. eco-innovation and eco-reputation should not be ignored by the firms, if the development of sustainable supply chain initiatives is intended by the organization’s decision makers, thus, eco-innovation and eco-reputation are found to be the key enablers of sustainable supply chain initiatives. The obtained results are integrated with the managerial implications. The findings of this study provide empirical validation needed to make investment in sustainable SC initiatives. In addition, a strong evidence is provided about the benefits arising from reverse logistics. The assurance of obtaining benefits from sustainable supply chain provide confidence to the managers. Therefore, ecological requirements are considered as key production and product criteria, specifically for those firms which try to find ways such as staying profitable and maintaining competitiveness to achieve economic sustainability. Therefore, adopting sustainable supply chain initiatives may result in value creation, provide means for achieving competitive advantage, and reverse logistics
Evaluating The Economy Growth by Supply Chain Strategies and Testing the Validity of Okun’s Laws in Indonesia
Abstract- With globalization and integration of the world economy, the concept of extended enterprise has taken root, leading to an increasingly important role played by the entire supply chain management, including procurement, logistics and distribution for ensuring a consistently high degree of customer satisfaction in terms of quality, delivery and cost. Unemployment is one of the main problems in developing countries, including Indonesia. This study aims to evidence the state pattern of the relationship between unemployment, supply chain strategy, and economic growth by investigating the accuracy of the Okun’s Law and the Phillips’ Curve in Indonesia. Time series data are sourced from the World Bank. As an addition to the independent variable, the dependency ratio is acknowledged to investigate unemployment based on the premise that a high dependency ratio will reduce the unemployment rate. The analysis model used in this study is the Error Correction Model (ECM). The results of this study are inflation rates, economic growth, and dependency ratios attained to be positively related to unemployment, and it illustrates that the Okun’ Law and Phillips’ Curve are not accurate to be applied in Indonesia
The Impact of Teaching Entrepreneurship Engagement on Teacher’s English Proficiency, Teaching Skills, Self-Regulations and Supply Chain for Indonesian EFL Students
Abstract- The foremost aim related to this research is to examine the impact of entrepreneurship engagement on the teachers’ English proficiency, skills and self-regulation in Indonesian English as foreign language (EFL) students. The secondary aim associated with this study is to examine the mediating role of the supply chain on the links of entrepreneurship engagement and teachers’ English proficiency, entrepreneurship engagement and teacher’s skills, and entrepreneurship engagement and self-regulation. The data were collected from the EFL students of Indonesia and analysis was performed by using the PLS-SEM. The findings indicated that positive links among the entrepreneurship engagement and teachers’ English proficiency, skills, and self-regulation. The results also indicated that the supply chain positively mediates among the nexus of entrepreneurship engagement and teachers’ English proficiency, entrepreneurship engagement and teachers’ skills, and entrepreneurship engagement and self-regulation. This literature gives the awareness to the policymakers that they should emphases on the entrepreneurship engagement that enhance the teachers’ English proficiency, skills and self-regulation
