    TPM: Factors And Barrier Analysis Towards Maintenance efficiency in Manufacturing Industry

    Previous studies indicated that the autonomous maintenance barrier factors are affected the maintenance efficiency. However, most of these studies were conducted in the service industry but not in the manufacturing industry. Therefore, the purpose of this research is to identify the most critical barrier factors towards maintenance efficiency and also to identify the relationship between autonomous maintenance barrier factors and maintenance efficiency in manufacturing industries. Five research hypotheses were examined while considering the autonomous maintenance barrier factors which including lack of top management commitment, lack of training, lack of maintenance knowledge, resistance by employees, and lack of tools and instrument. The findings of this study revealed that lack of tools and instrument is the most critical barrier factor. This quantitative case study is crucial to the manufacturing industry in Malaysia because it provides a broad insight into the correlation between the autonomous maintenance barrier factor and maintenance efficiency

    Directions of Digital Technologies Development in the Supply Chain Management of the Russian Economy

    Abstract— The main objective of this paper is to investigate the digitalization and technologies impact on supply chain management of agricultural industry.  This paper provides practical examples of supply chain digitalization, as well as its socio-economic and environmental effects. The absence of processes that are compatible with the high production requirements adopted in foreign markets can lead to crisis phenomena in domestic industries with high potential and rapid growth dynamics in agriculture industry. Agriculture in Russia is an integral part of the agro-industrial complex, and the program “Digitalization of its supply chain” should provide participants with the opportunity to use broadband, mobile, LPWAN communications, information technologies (small and big data, management platforms, etc.) of the domestic instrument industry (tags, controllers, sensors, control units) to improve significantly the efficiency of agriculture. The opportunities for modernizing the industry are huge. Food security of the country and the development of export potential, turn agriculture into a high-tech industry that can not only provide food for itself, but also many countries of the world through the global supply chain system, as well as create opportunities for the introduction of new innovative developments that have not exist before, stimulate management decisions that can provide the population with high-quality and safe products. According to expert estimates, during the season, the farmer has to make more than 40 different decisions in limited time intervals. Many of these solutions, which affect directly the production economy, are objects of digitalization in supply chain

    Spatial-Intelligent Decision Support System for Sustainable Downstream Palm Oil Based Agroindustry within the Supply Chain Network: A Systematic Literature Review and Future Research

    Oil palm plantations as one of the sexiest commodities; produce a high yield of oil and fat that can be used in various sectors. The prospect of oil palm and its derivative products is good, but there are obstacles and problems faced that are mainly related to sustainability issues in oil palm plantations and its downstream process. Therefore, it is important to study the decision-making process that are needed to develop sustainable palm oil agroindustry. This paper aims at providing a comprehensive literature review for decision support system for sustainable agroindustry. Totally, 186 scientific publication articles from 2005 to 2019 were reviewed and synthesized. The reviewed articles were categorize based on the keywords of palm oil sustainability, geographic information system (GIS), and decision support system (DSS). The research gap and pointers for future research that are identified is the lack of sustainability aspect inclusion on decision-making process. We also identified the lack discussion of integrated spatial and intelligent tools through DSS for better, faster, and smarter decision-making process. In the end part of the paper, a pointer for possible future research was develop in terms of combination through spatial-intelligent system applying business analytics for sustainable agroindustry

    ICT Validation Methodologies for Logistics Management

    This article aims to characterize the main methodologies for validating the implementation of ICT in logistics processes to support the decision-making process to select the ICT that best suits to logistics processes in a firm. For this, the characterization of models such as TAM, UTAUT, DART, DMAIC, AMEF, and QDF is presented. The study concludes that the implementation and appropriation of ICT in logistics processes requires adequate selection and validation, for which reference frameworks must be used to structure and design robust technological solutions according to the real problems faced by each firm, and that in turn, support decision-making on the selection of the most appropriate technologies generating the greatest benefit and low risks to logistics processes

    Innovations in Application of Professional Skills Development among Supply Chain Managers

    Abstract— Professional competencies required in the field of logistics and supply chain management (SCM) are in the process of continuous development since the modern business environment creates a high demand for them. This study was aimed at assessing the state of training systems’ development and the capabilities for their future improvement in terms of creating conditions for effective SCM by skilled labor. In order to achieve the research objective, a comparative analysis of national higher training and logistics systems was performed on the example of Russia and Germany. During the investigation, statistical information, world ratings, and various publications in the public domain were used. These data allowed examining the relationship between the academic environment and SCM practice. Thus, a conclusion was made that a low level of interaction with industrial partners slows down innovation and creates obstacles for managers’ effective preparation. The gap between business and training is the main reason for insufficient qualification of SCM personnel and, as a result, poor logistic performance

    Investigation of the Supply Chain Strategy Impact on the Customer Services and Supervisors

    Abstract— The study aims to identify the supply chain management and its impact on customer service, as well as indicating the role of supply chain management in improving sales and identifying the views of managers working in the corporate about supply chain management. Relying on the mindfulness framework, we argue that dispositional mindfulness has an impact on workplace outcomes, include service climate. Supply chain strategy tested as mediators of this relationship. This study was an explanatory survey among supervisors of the railway transportation service provider in Jakarta, Indonesia. The quota sampling technique was performed. The participants in this study were 357 supervisors. They filled the self-report questionnaires. The data analyzed by using Structural Equation Modelling with Lisrel 8.7 software. Results indicated that those with greater mindfulness report more positive service climate’ perception, and greater supply chain strategy. As expected, the relationship between mindfulness and service climate was mediated by supply chain strategy. The theoretical implication of this study was the empirical evidence regarding the mechanism that mediates the impact of mindfulness on workplace outcomes, with supply chain strategy as a potential mediating role. Results support the usefulness of further examination of the benefits of mindfulness in the workplace context

    Conceptual Approaches to Implementing the Digital Supply Chain Management in Some Areas of the Russian Economy

    Abstract— Recently, digital, information and telecommunications resources have become widespread in Russia, and the processes of supply chain in various spheres of society are being actively digitized after the covid-19 spread. As of today, there is a successful experience in the development and subsequent use of various electronic platforms, systems and services, such as SIS of HCS (in the field of housing and communal services), UMIAS (healthcare), Public Services (provision of public services), UIS (procurement), etc. The existence of such software products affects effectively the performance of functions by public authorities, allows optimizing the work, and also provides access to the necessary information. Based on this, we can say that digital technologies cover most areas of the country’s life. However, these areas of activity are usually not related to production. This situation is developing not only in Russia, but also in the global economy as a whole. It is easy to implement digital technologies in the service sector. This is largely due to low-cost investments that pay off quickly and make services more affordable. This is not the case with production, where the introduction of digital technologies will require changing the technology or even the organizational mechanism of production functioning. Moreover, it does not depend on which sector of the economy will be affected by the introduction of digital supply chain management (DSCM). The tasks of digital technologies in production should be a significant increase in labor productivity, the use of modern technologies that allow competing in the world market of goods. In addition, digital technologies in the manufacturing sector of the economy are designed to facilitate production management, correct management decisions, and obtaining detailed, necessary information about production processes

    Service Quality, Drinking Water Quality, Food Quality and Corporate Performance: The Mediating Role of Supply Chain Management

    The study analyzes the mediating impact of supply chain management (SCMG) on the relationship among service quality (SRQL), drinking water quality (DRQL), food quality (FDQL) and corporate performance (CRPR). The target respondents of this research work were employees of water and food supply corporations situated in Thailand. The focused participants for the survey were the main managing directors, executives, CEOs and other high-positioning officials responsible for supply network exercises in firms. 75 firms were casually selected for the collection of data. After the information assortment, only 137 affirmed review structures were settled for examination. Path analysis using PLS-SEM is conducted to analyze the impact. CRPR and SCMG are used as dependent and mediating variables, respectively. SRQL, DRQL and FDQL are used as independent variables. The results of the study show that SRQL, DRQL and FDQL have significant positive impact on CRPR and SCMG. SCMG also has positive impact on CRPR. Moreover, the study also finds that SCMG mediates the association between SRQL and CRPR. It signifies that SRQL and SCMG together cause 21.7% changes in CRPR. SCMG also fully mediates the positive link between DRQL and CRPR. It reports that DRQL and SCMG collectively cause to change in CRPR by 9.4%. Moreover, SCMG also fully mediates the linkage between FDQL and CRPR as both SCMG and FDQL cause 13.2% variation in CRPR. From the findings, the study summarizes that better SCMG rises the services, food and drinking water quality of services, water and food supply corporations of Thailand which ultimately improves the corporate performance

    Supply Chain Management Values for the Society In A Community-Based Tourism Village

    This research aims to describe the values of supply chain management that develop in a tourism village that is managed through the community-based tourism (CBT) model. This is qualitative research with ethnographic design. The data of the present research were collected through in-depth interviews, observation, and documentation. The resource persons of the research were tourism village managers and traders in Papringan Market, Temanggung, Central Java, Indonesia. To ensure the trustworthiness of the research data, source triangulation analysis and participant observation were performed. Several steps were involved in data analysis, namely data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. The results showed that the values of supply chain management found in Papringan Market traders included: (1) Self-knowledge, the traders already knew about the business and carried out their own production and marketing processes, (2) Search skills, the traders could easily get raw materials for their business and implemented an effective marketing system to attract customers, (3) Computation skills, traders prepared themselves with the risks that would come. They did not only focus on sales in the Papringan Market but also have other jobs, 4) Practical knowledge, the traders had understood enough to make innovations in their business, but the changes were not significant, 5) Communication skills, communication between sellers and consumers in the Papringan Market was well-established and conducive, even among fellow traders and market managers, 6) Imagination, traders had insufficient idea and imagination to develop their products because they still relied on market demand, 7) Foresight, traders still followed the flow of the Papringan Market and did not yet have thoughts or idea for their products in the future

    Abstract Capacity building is a process carried out in a place / institution to make changes for the better so that the process that occurs can run according to the expectations and wishes of the community. In general, capacity building is an effort made to achieve good governance (good governance). The purpose of this research is to build a concept or some kind of guide that will be used by local governments in the health sector so that the performance of the government in carrying out health affairs, which consists of 14 objectives of the Malang city health office activities to be achieved in a year. The digital era is an era where everything in meetings is recorded electronically. The research model that will be used is to use a literature review by utilizing all health documents and several articles and books that can be used as supporting data. The result achieved is that the health office guidelines are used to reduce to a minimum the factors that hinder capacity building. The implication of this guideline is that there will be harmony or balance in running the government
