    Determinants Affecting Customers’ Satisfaction Based on Logistics Services: A Case Study of Logistics Companies in Vietnam

    This study aims to determine the factors affecting customer satisfaction with logistics enterprises’ logistics services in Vietnam. Data collected through survey questionnaires sent to customers who are currently using the services of businesses. Research has shown eight factors affecting customer satisfaction, including tangible factors, reliability, guarantee, empathy, responsiveness, perceived price, customer relationship service, and relationship quality-these eight factors measured through 35 observed variables.     Factors Affecting the Competitiveness of Logistics Service Enterprises: A Case Study of Dong Nai Province

    Competitiveness of enterprises can maintain and improve competitive advantage in consuming products or services. Besides, enterprises expanded their consumption network through surveying experiences in the logistics service sector. Therefore, the authors surveyed 30 logistics service enterprises with 500 customers. The results showed five factors that affected the competitiveness of logistics service enterprises of Dong Nai Province with 1% significance. Finally, the article draws some recommendations to help enterprises improve the competitiveness of logistics service

    Good Global Supply Chain Governance, Corruption, and Welfare: an Empirical Evidence From Indonesia

    — Social welfare can only be realized if local governments have good global supply chain governance and low corruption. This research aims to prove the effect of good global supply chain governance and corruption on welfare. This research was conducted on all provincial governments in Indonesia in 2014-2018. Good global supply chain governance was measured using the Indonesia Governance Index published by The Partnership for Governance Reform, corruption is measured through corruption cases carried out by public officials in each province published by the KPK-RI (Indonesia's Corruption Eradication Commission), while welfare was measured by the Human Development Index published by BPS-RI (Indonesia’s Central Bureau of Statistics). The analysis was done through multiple regression testing. The results show that (1) the implementation of good global supply chain governance, corruption and social welfare in local governments in Indonesia is still bad; (2) local governments with high human development index and high government index cannot guarantee a low level of corruption; (3) good global supply chain governance is evidence to significantly improve welfare; (4) corruption has actually been shown to significantly improve welfare. This finding proves the importance of good global supply chain governance for local governments to accelerate the improvement of social welfare. Besides, the impact of corruption on welfare in this study is interesting

    Supply Chain - Sustainability Index- An Approach towards Benchmarking Parameters for the Food Industry

    Despite the optimistic outlook at the economy, the food industry has its share of shortcomings in the forefront of sustainable operations. SMEs have resource constraints such as inefficient data handling capacity, insufficient financial support and transparency issues. However, the major problem that must be addressed is the lack of ‘technical know-how’ about metric for measuring sustainability performance. The approach is based on the study of Global Reporting Initiatives (GRI) and Dow Jones Sustainability Indices (DJSI) to design parameters based on people, planet and profit indicators. In a global perspective, 25 organizations (small, medium and large enterprises) in the food industry are selected and data collection is carried out from sources like ‘Sustainability report’ and ‘Annual report’ of these organisations. Data Envelopment Analysis (DEA), is used to arrive at the relative efficiency scores and it is taken as input to the SISO (single input single output) type Fuzzy Model to arrive at an index. A case simulation to demonstrate the application, DMU with relative efficiency score of 34% was taken as input which resulted to output on sustainability index of 2 (on a scale of 1-5) indicating poor sustainability of the organisation. A unique work based on parameter design for selecting the performance measure of sustainability and arriving at index is not discussed in the present research. The approach provides a tool to measure the sustainability performance for the organisation.

    The halal certified processed meat industry in Banten province reaches 147 industries spread across eight districts / cities in Banten Province. Evaluation of the HAS-2300 implementation has been carried out periodically, but there are still various weaknesses that result in the company's performance being not optimal. Risk control has also been implemented to anticipate various contaminants and activities that may harm employees, but there are still errors in implementing work procedures. Risk control through participatory ergonomics is needed to find the most critical point in the halal meat processing industry. Respondents in this study were determined based on purposive sampling technique. The results showed that the greatest risk comes from social-technical factors, namely that humans are the main factor at the critical point of materials. Although the process of slaughter has been assisted by the adoption of technology, the existence of humans is not replaced by machines. Animal slaughter techniques are the key to meeting the critical point of meat product

    This paper discusses the challenges that meet pharmaceutical distribution companies and how to overcome it by using data mining techniques, these challenges are out of stock in the inventory that caused many problems and losses to the company, excessive inventory can also lead to damaged, expired items resulting from this lose a lot of money, So pharmaceuticals distribution companies must control their inventory levels to prevent costs of excessive inventory also prevent losing customers. And to solve these problems we need to implement data mining techniques to improve the retail supply chain process in pharmaceutical distribution companies. The paper proposes a framework to improve the retail supply chain process in pharmaceutical distribution companies starting from forecasting the products of the next month ending with delivering the right amount of medicine to the right place at the right time, in addition, to following up the stock during the month through dashboards.

One of the most important recent topics that has been considered by researchers, is the fate of industrial products and goods with the end customer which has led to the creation of the concept of reverse supply chain. Reverse supply chain management includes all the processes of collecting products used by the customer, recycling, reproducing (repairing) and disposing of some unusable parts. Considering the importance of using reverse logistics in waste collection and also the importance of the fourth industrial revolution, the present study has been formed with the aim of Innovation in reverse supply chain model through industry 4.0 revolutions. In this research, a mathematical model for the reverse supply chain of municipal waste in conditions of uncertainty based on the pattern of the Industrial Revolution 4 is presented. This supply chain is the levels of distribution centers, customers, collection centers, recycling centers and destruction centers. Innovations of this research present and solve the mathematical model of the reverse supply chain of municipal waste recycling with the approach of Industrial Revolution Four, considering the dimensions of sustainability in the reverse supply chain of municipal waste recycling with the approach of Industry 4 Revolution, considering the location-routing phase in The reverse supply chain for municipal waste recycling is four with the Industrial Revolution approach. The understudy model is multi-objective and its objectives include minimizing transportation costs and environmental impacts and maximizing the amount of demand responded to the customer.     Evaluation of Rotation Effects in Steel Structures with Irregular Plan Under Earthquake in Project Management

    Abstract. Because of lacking specific relationships and criteria for steel structures with bending frames and braces along with the uneven bearing system in Iranian regulations, the need to study the behavior of such structures has been considered by researchers. In this paper, with three-dimensional modeling of steel structures with six types of plans, each of which indicates a degree of asymmetry of the load-bearing system, a total of 18 models of structures under two types of linear dynamic loading and overload were studied. It is indicated that with increasing unevenness of the load-bearing system, the rotation of the structures also increases. This increase is up to 18 times more for short-term structures and up to five times more than for parallel structures than parallel structures. The discrepancy causes unexpected results. Increasing the height of the structure reduces the rotation in the diaphragm. There is no difference between the rotation of the diaphragms in terms of elastic and inelastic, while the load in the other direction of these changes for the inelastic state is sometimes up to more than 50 times the elastic state

    Applications of Geographic Information Systems (GIS) in Supply Chain Management: Systematic Literature Review

       To date, the knowledge regarding the potential uses of Geographic Information Systems (GIS) in Supply Chain Management (SCM) and how the GIS applications can deliver business benefits is limited. To explore the current uses of GIS in SCM, a systematic literature review (SLR) was conducted. Three databases (Web of Science, ProQuest and Business Source Premier) were explored, using the Preferred Reporting Items for Systematic Reviews and Meta-Analyses (PRISMA) methodology. There were 79 papers included in the literature review. The combined findings showed that the GIS applications in SCM were a) network/ transportation analysis/ routing algorithms (53 papers), b) Location-Allocation Site Search/ Selection (using multiple-criteria decision analysis [MCDA]) (45 papers), c) spatial analysis (people or land) (34 papers), d) connection with optimisation tools (32 papers) and e) visualisation/ monitoring or Building Information Modelling (BIM) (8 papers). The industries and related Supply Chain (SC) domains that used GIS were a) Biomass Biofuel/Wood (33), b) Logistics (22), c) Humanitarian/ Emergency/ Healthcare (10), d) Food/ Agro-Industry (5), e) Petroleum/ Coal/ Shale Gas (3), f) Faecal Sludge (2), g) Recycle product footprint (2) and h) Construction (2). Moreover, the research case studies took place in 26 countries, and the most prominent GIS software provider was Esri’s ArcGIS. The findings suggested that GIS can significantly contribute to SCM decision making by providing answers to cost minimisation, supplier selection, facility location, SC network configuration and asset management
