Analysis of the structure and efficacy of soybean meal antimicrobial peptides
In this thesis, soybean meal protein was used to explore its potential in the
development of natural antimicrobial peptides. With the increasing problem of
antibiotic resistance, the development of safe, efficient and low toxic new
antibacterial agents has become a hot research direction. As a by-product of
soybean processing, soybean meal is rich in protein, which is a potential source for
the preparation of antimicrobial peptides and provides high-quality raw materials
for the preparation of bioactive peptides.
In this study, the amino acid sequence of β-conglycinin was obtained from the
NCBI database, and the peptide fragments were obtained by BIOPEP to simulate
the digestion process of pepsin, proteinase K and papain. Then toxicity analysis
was performed with ToxinPred to screen out non-toxic peptides. The CAMPR3
and APD3 databases were used to predict the antibacterial and functional
properties of the peptides, and the peptides with antibacterial potential such as
SCPAASRPGCHKNTCGL, PVWR and APNNMR were screened. Finally,
molecular docking experiments using AlphaFold3 showed that the above peptides
had a strong binding affinity with the target proteins in E. coli (pTM value >0.88),
which verified the antibacterial activity of the peptides.
The results showed that there were indeed peptides with good antibacterial
activity in soybean meal, and these peptides exhibited low toxicity, high binding
affinity and strong predictive antibacterial properties. This study provided a
theoretical basis for high-value utilization of soybean meal resources, and also
provided a reference for the development and structure optimization of new natural
antimicrobial peptides. In the future, its practical efficacy can be further verified by in vitro experiments, and its application prospects in food preservation, animal
feed, medicine and other fields can be explored
Analysis of the degradation potential of chitin by marine bacteria
Chitin is the most abundant biological resource in the ocean, with an
extremely high annual output. Its degradation products play an important role in
fields such as medicine and the food industry. The traditional degradation methods
of chitin cause serious waste of resources and have a high degree of environmental
pollution. However, biodegradation is green, environmentally friendly and highly
specific, and thus has attracted the attention of many scholars. In marine
ecosystems, many microorganisms can degrade chitin by secreting glycoside
hydrolase, and the products are chitin oligosaccharides or monosaccharides.
Among them, marine bacteria are the main players in degrading chitin, and the
contribution of Pseudoalteromonas is particularly significant. This article takes
Pseudoalteromonas sp. M58 as the research object and conducts sequencing and
comprehensive analysis of its genome. The sequencing results show that the
genome contains one complete circular chromosome with a length of 3604,843 bp
and one circular plasmid with a length of 824,954 bp, with a total of 3,929 coding
genes. In the coding sequences, 2,740 (69.7%), 3,073 (78.2%), and 3,514 (89.4%)
genes were classified in the GO, COG, and KEGG databases, respectively. The
alignment results with the protein sequences of the reported genes indicated that
the strain P. sp. M58 contained a series of enzymes and proteins related to chitin
degradation and transmembrane transport, suggesting that P. sp. M58 has the
potential to degrade chitin. This thesis enriches the research results on chitin
degradation by Pseudoalteromonas, and is of great significance for the effective
utilization of chitin resources
Мітохондріальні геноми розкривають диференціальний механізм між Saccharina та Laminaria
In this study, the genera Saccharina and Laminaria, which are economically important in the Phaeophyceae phylum, were used to obtain the mitochondrial genome data of a total of 10 species of the two genera from the NCBI database, and bioinformatic analysis software such as OGDRAW, Mauve, and CodonW were utilized to execute the genome mapping, covariate analysis, and codon preference analysis, and to reconstruct the phylogenetic tree using the ML (maximum likelihood method) to reconstruct the phylogenetic tree.
The results of the study showed that the genome length of the genus Saccharina (37,500-37,657 bp) was shorter than that of the genus Laminaria (37,862-38,047 bp), the GC content of the genus Saccharina (35.20- 35.30%) was more stable than that of Laminaria (34.20-35.20%); five species in Laminaria encoded 36-39 protein-coding genes, whereas the number of protein-coding genes in Saccharina was highly conserved with 38 genes in all of them; covariance analysis showed that there was a difference in the gene arrangement of the two genera, with gene duplications occurring in the trnC to trnS regions. Covariance analysis showed that there were differences in gene arrangement between the two genera, with gene duplications and deletions in the trnC to trnS regions: duplications of the trnM gene in Laminaria ephemera, deletions of the trnK and trnS genes in five species of the genus Saccharina, and in Laminaria solidungula; and codon preferences were found to be weaker in the two genera. The codon preference study revealed that the genomic codon preferences of both genera were weak, and the rps10 termination codon was TAG in Saccharina and TAA in Laminaria, which could be used as molecular characters for intergeneric classification; the evolutionary tree supported the independent classification of Saccharina and Laminaria, and the species within the genera were closely related, and the intergeneric differentiation was significant, which verified the revision of the traditional classification by molecular phylogeny.
This study is the first to systematically compare the characteristics of the mitochondrial genomes of the genera Saccharina and Laminaria. By comparing the structural features, covariance and phylogenetic relationships of the mitochondrial genomes, the structural differences between the two genera and their evolutionary history are revealed, which provides theoretical basis for the taxonomy of Phaeophyceae, the development of germplasm resources, and molecular-assisted breeding
Intelligent information technologies within the framework of innovative education management in times of crisis
Crisis phenomena — pandemics, military conflicts, economic shocks — place special demands on education systems. In these conditions, it is necessary to move from traditional forms of administration to innovative management, which is based on flexibility, digitalization, intellectualization and adaptability. This management should not only support the functioning of the educational system, but also develop it even in conditions of instability. Innovative education management during a crisis is not only a response to challenges, but also a strategic resource for the future. It ensures sustainability, adaptability, inclusiveness and quality education regardless of external circumstances. In conditions of constant uncertainty, this approach becomes the key to the survival and development of educational systems.
In these conditions, the focus is on intelligent information technologies that transform approaches to the management and support of educational processes. It is intelligent information technologies that play a key role in ensuring the sustainability and effectiveness of education management in times of crisis. They provide flexibility, speed and a personalized approach to management, making education more adaptive and accessible
Directions of using color in the Interior's design of smart apartments for Single-person living
This paper explores the role of color in shaping the interior design of smallsized
apartments intended for single-person living. It examines the directions for
applying color in the design of compact living spaces. Three key strategies for
designing the interiors of this type of housing using color are identified and
described in detail: space division and zoning – using color to delineate various
functional areas within the apartment, including the entrance, storage, dining area,
living (guest) area, sleeping zone, and sanitary-hygienic spaces (bathroom and
toilet); highlighting the composition center – creating a focal point within the
apartment’s space by incorporating vibrant paintings, a massive table, a brightly
colored sofa, or a bold-patterned rug; color-based accentuation – using color in the
interior design to emphasize important objects and areas to ensure a safe and
comfortable living environment
Innovative R&D management during instability and multi-crisis
Abstract. Innovation management is key for modern organizations, contributing to increased efficiency and competitiveness. Research and development (R&D) is the fundamental basis of innovative development, providing the technological basis for new products. During crises, innovation management becomes critical for survival, helping organizations remain adaptive and resilient. Investments in R&D during this period contribute to the development of new products and technologies, which ensures long-term growth and competitive advantages
