    The Influence of Foreign Direct Investment and Inflation on Economic Growth in Indonesia For The 2013-2023 Period

    This study aims to analyze the influence of Foreign Direct Investment (FDI) and inflation on economic growth in Indonesia in the period 2013-2023. Using a quantitative approach, this study applies multiple linear regression on secondary data from the Central Bureau of Statistics (BPS) and Bank Indonesia or other secondary sources, with independent variables of FDI and inflation and the dependent variable in the form of the annual Gross Domestic Product (GDP) growth rate. The results of the analysis show that FDI has an insignificant negative effect on economic growth, while inflation shows a positive but also insignificant effect. These results indicate that neither FDI nor inflation dominantly determine Indonesia's economic growth during the period, so additional factors may be needed to maximize economic growth through macroeconomic stability. This study is expected to contribute to economic policies related to FDI and inflation control in Indonesia

    Regulations and Implementation of the Green Economy in the Development of Green SMEs in North Sumatra Province

    This research analyzes the regulation and implementation of a green economy in the MSME sector in North Sumatra Province in the context of the transition to green MSMEs and efforts to achieve the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). This study uses a combination of normative and empirical approaches with data collected through interviews, questionnaires, and literature studies. The findings indicate that North Sumatra Province has not specifically adopted and implemented a green economy for the MSME sector. In the North Sumatra Provincial RPJPD 2025-2045, the implementation of a green economy is still limited to Green Industry. The absence of regulations, the lack of updates on the Regional Action Plan for TPB/SDGs, and the fragmented coordination among key stakeholders, who still do not have a structured collaboration framework, pose the main obstacles. SMEs in North Sumatra Province face various challenges in implementing a green economy, including high investment costs, limited access to resources, the absence of regulations and standards, and a lack of consumer awareness about eco-friendly products. This research recommends that the North Sumatra Provincial Government prioritize the integration of the SDGs into regional development policies, establish regulations that govern coordination among stakeholders, and enhance government and stakeholder support for the green transformation of SMEs through improved access to resources, training, and policy support

    Bangkitnya Akreditasi Berbasis Hasil: Era Baru Penjaminan Mutu

    This study aims to analyze the impact of OBA (Outcome Based Accreditation) on the quality of education at KH. Mukhtar Syafaat University (Uimsya) Blokagung Banyuwangi and its impact on the quality of education. The research design used qualitative, involving in-depth interviews with key stakeholders, was used to collect data, in addition to observation and documentation. The findings revealed that OBA has significantly increased the relevance of graduate competencies to the job market. By focusing on measurable learning outcomes, the institution is able to align its curriculum with industry demands, resulting in increased employability of graduates. In addition, OBA has encouraged a more transparent and accountable assessment system, thus encouraging holistic student development. This study recommends that higher education institutions adopt OBA as a quality assurance framework to ensure that graduates have the skills and competencies needed to succeed in a dynamic global job market

    Listening skills (istima’) play a crucial role in mastering Arabic, particularly in fostering effective communication. However, istima’ instruction often emphasizes linguistic aspects without considering its contribution to the development of interpersonal relationships. This study aims to analyze listening learning strategies that enhance students’ interpersonal abilities within the context of Arabic language learning. The method used is descriptive qualitative with a field study approach involving observation, interviews, and documentation at an Islamic senior high school in Riau. The findings reveal that strategies such as conversation simulation, listening to authentic audio, and group discussions encourage students to become active listeners, increase empathy, and foster openness in interaction. The study concludes that communicatively and contextually designed istima’ instruction has a significant impact on strengthening students’ interpersonal relationships

    THE APPLICATION OF PLATELET-RICH PLASMA (PRP) IN AESTHETIC TREATMENTS: A CONTEMPORARY FIQH PERSPECTIVE

    Platelet-Rich Plasma (PRP) treatment has gained significant attention as a cosmetic procedure in recent years, becoming a sought-after method for enhancing skin quality. Offered extensively in beauty clinics, both men and women pursue PRP treatment to reduce wrinkles, improve facial scars, and achieve a more youthful radiance. This procedure involves drawing a patient’s blood, processing it to isolate the plasma, and then injecting it into the facial area to stimulate collagen production and skin rejuvenation. This study explores the practice of PRP treatment in beauty clinics and examines its legal status from the perspective of contemporary Islamic jurisprudence (fiqh). Using a qualitative descriptive method and a library research approach, it analyzes primary sources such as the Qur’an, Hadith, and classical Islamic texts, complemented by secondary sources including modern scholarly literature. The research aims to assess whether PRP treatment aligns with Islamic ethical and legal principles. Findings indicate that, according to contemporary fiqh, PRP treatment performed for non-essential (tahsiniy) cosmetic purposes is deemed impermissible (haram). However, when used for medical or necessary (dharuriy) purposes, such as treating severe skin conditions or injuries, it may be considered permissible. This conclusion is drawn from scholarly ijtihad, fatwas issued by the Indonesian Council of Ulama (MUI), and the principles of Maqasid al-Shariah. The study highlights the need for further scholarly discourse to establish clear legal guidelines regarding PRP treatment, ensuring a well-informed approach that aligns with Islamic principles

    FIQH SIYASAH REVIEW OF THE CONSTITUTIONAL COURT'S STANCE REGARDING THE PARLIAMENTARY THRESHOLD

    The purpose of this research is to analyze fiqh siyasah on the decision of the Constitutional Court Number 116/PUU-XXI/2023 on Parliamentary Threshold. Through a normative juridical approach and fiqh siyasah analysis, this research examines the principles of justice, deliberation and maslahat in accordance with sharia values in decision-making by the panel of judges. This research is normative juridical research, namely research by collecting primary and secondary legal materials that are relevant to research using a conceptual approach, to the decision of the Constitutional Court Number 116/PUU-XXI/2023 both in the study of constitutional law and fiqh siyasah. The results of this study found that the constitutional court emphasized a formal legal approach in decision making so that substantive justice was not achieved. This can be seen that the Constitutional Court continues to impose a parliamentary limit of 4% because it is considered not contrary to the principles of the 1945 Constitution. In the study of fiqh siyasah on the decision of the Constitutional Court Number 116 / PUU-XXI / 2023 concerning Parliamentary Threshold, it shows the lack of substantial judicial ijtihad value. The Court is more inclined to legal formalities than fighting for representative justice which should be the main focus. One of the ijtihad that can be used by the Constitutional Court is ijtihad ta'lili, which is ijtihad based on an analysis of 'illat al-ḥukm (the reason or cause of a legal provision). In this context, the Court should analyze whether the 4% threshold still meets the rationality of justice and democratic effectiveness, or has actually exceeded its original purpose and caused constitutional harm

    THE USE OF CTL TO IMPROVE THE SPEAKING SKILL ON ENGLISH FOR TOURISM IN THE FIRST SEMESTER OF THE TOURISM STUDY PROGRAM OF UNIVERSITAS HAMZANWADI

    English has been taught since elementary school up to the university. The students are taught of language's skills, but most of the students still hard to use English as spoken language especially for students at a former place. This classroom action research implemented the CTL approach to improve the teaching and learning and students' speaking skill in form of transactional and interpersonal speech. The main object of this research is the students of tourism study program of Hamzanwadi University. It was conducted in three cycles, the overview of those cycles can be seen from the following results; 1) the contextual teaching and learning could improve the lecturing process, 2) the students' participation to practice speaking was improved cycle by cycle; 49% was in cycle 1, then improved to 71.44% and 91.4% in cycle II and cycle III, and 3) the students' speaking improvement was also shown from the mean score and the category of students' speaking ability. The mean score in pre-cycle was 33 and then improved to be 41 in cycle I, 52 in cycle II and 75 in cycle III. The category of students' speaking ability fell in very good, good and fairly good categories.         Â

    This study explores female students’ interpersonal communication experiences and their perceptions of lecturer credibility at an Islamic-based campus, Universitas Halim Sanusi, focusing on the communication studies program. The study aims to identify patterns of interpersonal communication between female students and lecturers at an Islamic-based campus, analyze students’ perceptions of lecturer credibility, explain the impact of lecturer credibility on students’ learning experiences and engagement, and examine the role of Islamic values in shaping academic interpersonal communication. A descriptive qualitative approach was used to investigate female students’ communication experiences and how they interpret lecturer credibility in academic interactions. The findings indicate that communication patterns between female students and lecturers at an Islamic-based campus balance interpersonal closeness and professional boundaries, with lecturer credibility encompassing competence, integrity, and care. Supportive and consistent interactions enhance students’ psychological safety, motivation, and active participation. Islamic norms and values frame communication behavior, reinforcing an ethical and conducive learning experience. Female students perceive lecturer credibility as an integrated experience formed by academic competence, integrity, consistency, interpersonal care, material relevance, contextual communication skills, and Islamic values. Lecturer credibility influences learning motivation, active participation, psychological security, academic aspirations, and the quality of classroom and mentoring interactions. Lecturer credibility plays a key role in shaping positive academic experiences for female students through several dimensions, including material consistency, communication openness, attention and care, and the ability to adjust interactions according to students’ characteristics. Islamic-based campus values and norms shape female students’ communication with lecturers to be polite, professional, and productive. Islamic principles, including adab (etiquette), amanah (trustworthiness), honesty, and patience, provide an ethical framework that governs language, interaction boundaries, and communication adjustments based on gender context.Penelitian ini mengeksplorasi pengalaman komunikasi interpersonal mahasiswi dan persepsi mereka terhadap kredibilitas dosen di kampus berbasis Islam, yaitu Universitas Halim Sanusi, berfokus pada program studi komunikasi. Penelitian bertujuan untuk mengidentifikasi pola komunikasi interpersonal mahasiswi dan dosen di kampus berbasis Islam, menganalisis persepsi mahasiswi terhadap kredibilitas dosen, menjelaskan dampak kredibilitas dosen terhadap pengalaman dan keterlibatan belajar mahasiswi, serta mengkaji peran nilai-nilai keislaman dalam membentuk komunikasi interpersonal akademik. Menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif untuk menggali pengalaman komunikasi interpersonal mahasiswi serta cara mereka memaknai kredibilitas dosen dalam interaksi akademik. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan pola komunikasi mahasiswi dan dosen di kampus berbasis Islam menyeimbangkan kedekatan interpersonal dan batasan profesional, dengan kredibilitas dosen mencakup kompetensi, integritas, dan kepedulian. Interaksi yang suportif dan konsisten meningkatkan rasa aman, motivasi, dan partisipasi aktif mahasiswa. Norma dan nilai keislaman membingkai perilaku komunikasi, memperkuat pengalaman belajar yang etis dan kondusif. Mahasiswi memaknai kredibilitas dosen sebagai pengalaman terpadu yang terbentuk dari kompetensi akademik, integritas, konsistensi, kepedulian interpersonal, relevansi materi, kemampuan komunikasi kontekstual, dan nilai-nilai Islam. Kredibilitas dosen ini mempengaruhi motivasi belajar, partisipasi aktif, rasa aman psikologis, aspirasi akademik, dan kualitas interaksi di kelas maupun bimbingan. Kredibilitas dosen berperan penting dalam membentuk pengalaman akademik positif mahasiswi melalui beberapa dimensi, yaitu konsistensi materi, keterbukaan komunikasi, perhatian dan kepedulian, serta kemampuan menyesuaikan interaksi dengan karakter mahasiswa. Nilai dan norma kampus berbasis Islam membentuk pola komunikasi mahasiswi dengan dosen yang sopan, profesional, dan produktif. Norma keislaman, termasuk adab, amanah, kejujuran, dan kesabaran, menjadi kerangka etis yang mengatur tutur kata, batasan interaksi, dan penyesuaian komunikasi berdasarkan konteks gender

    Logika Maqāṣid Al-Syarī‘ah Sebagai Paradigma Kritik Dalam Rekonstruksi Hukum Islam

    Rapid social change and the increasing complexity of modern legal issues have created serious challenges to the relevance and justice of Islamic law in the contemporary era. Many textual provisions of Islamic law often confront dynamic social realities, thereby necessitating a critical paradigm for interpreting and reconstructing the law so that it remains contextual and oriented toward the realization of public welfare (maṣlaḥah). In this context, this research becomes urgent as it explores the logic of maqāṣid al-syarī‘ah as a critical paradigm in the reconstruction of Islamic law. Maqāṣid al-syarī‘ah, which was originally understood as the normative objective of the Sharī‘ah aimed at protecting the five essential human needs (al-ḍarūriyyāt al-khamsah) religion, life, intellect, lineage, and property has undergone a significant expansion in both meaning and function. In contemporary development, maqāṣid is no longer confined merely to preserving welfare but has evolved into an epistemological and critical framework for assessing the relevance, justice, and benefit of Islamic law in responding to modern social dynamics. By employing a maqāṣid-based approach, Islamic law is no longer rigidly understood through textual formalism but becomes open to reinterpretation in accordance with the principles of justice, welfare, gender equality, and respect for human rights. This study employs a qualitative method using hermeneutical analysis of both classical and modern literature. The rapid social transformation and the emergence of modern legal problems such as child marriage, gender equality, bioethics, environmental issues, and social justice emphasize the urgent need for a new paradigm in understanding Islamic law to ensure its continued relevance and fairness. In this regard, the study situates the logic of maqāṣid al-syarī‘ah as a critical paradigm for reconstructing Islamic law. Originally serving to preserve the five essential human needs (al-ḍarūriyyāt al-khamsah), maqāṣid has now evolved into an epistemological framework capable of critically evaluating and dynamically interpreting Islamic law. Findings from various studies indicate that the application of maqāṣid to contemporary issues demonstrates its potential as a bridge between normative texts and social realities, thus establishing maqāṣid al-syarī‘ah as an essential instrument in developing an Islamic legal system that is adaptive, progressive, humanistic, and contextually grounded   Perubahan sosial yang cepat dan kompleksitas persoalan hukum modern menimbulkan tantangan serius bagi relevansi dan keadilan hukum Islam di era kontemporer. Banyak ketentuan hukum Islam yang bersifat tekstual sering kali dihadapkan pada realitas sosial yang dinamis, sehingga menuntut adanya paradigma kritis dalam menafsirkan dan merekonstruksi hukum agar tetap kontekstual dan berorientasi pada kemaslahatan. Dalam konteks inilah, penelitian ini menjadi urgen karena membahas logika maqāṣid al-syarī‘ah sebagai paradigma kritik dalam rekonstruksi hukum Islam. Maqāṣid al-syarī‘ah yang semula dipahami sebagai tujuan normatif syariat untuk melindungi lima kebutuhan pokok manusia (al-ḍarūriyyāt al-khamsah) agama, jiwa, akal, keturunan, dan harta kini mengalami perluasan makna dan fungsi. Pada perkembangan kontemporer, maqāṣid tidak lagi diposisikan sekadar sebagai instrumen pemeliharaan kemaslahatan, melainkan juga sebagai kerangka epistemologis dan kritis untuk menilai relevansi, keadilan, serta kemanfaatan hukum Islam dalam menghadapi dinamika sosial modern. Dengan menggunakan pendekatan maqāṣid, hukum Islam tidak lagi dipahami secara kaku melalui formalisme tekstual, melainkan terbuka terhadap reinterpretasi sesuai prinsip keadilan, kemaslahatan, kesetaraan gender, dan penghormatan terhadap hak asasi manusia. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif dengan analisis hermeneutik terhadap literatur klasik dan modern.Perubahan sosial dan munculnya problematika hukum modern seperti perkawinan anak, kesetaraan gender, bioetika, lingkungan hidup, dan keadilan sosial menegaskan urgensi paradigma baru dalam memahami hukum Islam agar tetap relevan dan berkeadilan. Dalam konteks ini, penelitian ini menempatkan logika maqāṣid al-syarī‘ah sebagai paradigma kritik dalam rekonstruksi hukum Islam. Maqāṣid yang semula berfungsi menjaga lima kebutuhan pokok manusia (al-ḍarūriyyāt al-khamsah) kini berkembang menjadi kerangka epistemologis yang mampu menilai dan menafsirkan hukum Islam secara lebih dinamis. Hasil berbagai kajian menunjukkan bahwa penerapan maqāṣid pada isu-isu kontemporer memperlihatkan potensinya sebagai jembatan antara teks normatif dan realitas sosial, sehingga menjadikan maqāṣid al-syarī‘ah instrumen penting dalam membangun hukum Islam yang adaptif, progresif, humanis, dan kontekstual

    Pengaruh Intensitas Bermain Game Online terhadap Konsentrasi Belajar Mahasiswa Program Studi Pendidikan Dokter Umum pada Era Pembelajaran Digital Pascapandemi

    This study departs from the phenomenon of increasing internet use in the post-pandemic era of digital learning, where online entertainment activities such as playing online games become an integral part of student life, including medical students. This group is known to have a high academic burden and stress levels, so many of them make online games as a means of fatigue relief or cognitive recreation. However, behind benefits such as improved strategic thinking skills and virtual social interactions, excessive intensity of play can actually decrease the ability to concentrate and focus on learning. In a study that highlights the influence of the intensity of playing online games on the concentration of Student Learning Program of general practitioner education in the era of post-pandemic digital learning, used observational analytical approach with cross-sectional design and data collection through questionnaires regarding the frequency of play and the level of concentration of student learning. The results of the analysis using Spearman's rho test showed a significant negative correlation (p = 0.043; r = -0.233), which means that the higher the intensity of playing online games, the lower the concentration ability of students in academic activities. These findings reinforce the importance of student awareness in managing play time proportionately so that digital entertainment activities do not interfere with the effectiveness of the learning process, especially in medical disciplines that demand high precision, focus, and consistency..     Penelitian ini berangkat dari fenomena meningkatnya penggunaan internet pada era pembelajaran digital pascapandemi, di mana aktivitas hiburan daring seperti bermain game online menjadi bagian yang tak terpisahkan dari kehidupan mahasiswa, termasuk mahasiswa kedokteran. Kelompok ini dikenal memiliki beban akademik dan tingkat stres yang tinggi, sehingga banyak di antara mereka menjadikan game online sebagai sarana pelepas penat atau rekreasi kognitif. Namun, di balik manfaat seperti peningkatan kemampuan berpikir strategis dan interaksi sosial virtual, intensitas bermain yang berlebihan justru dapat menurunkan kemampuan konsentrasi dan fokus belajar. Dalam penelitian yang menyoroti pengaruh intensitas bermain game online terhadap konsentrasi belajar mahasiswa Program Studi Pendidikan Dokter Umum pada era pembelajaran digital pascapandemi ini, digunakan pendekatan analitik observasional dengan desain cross sectional serta pengumpulan data melalui kuesioner mengenai frekuensi bermain dan tingkat konsentrasi belajar mahasiswa. Hasil analisis menggunakan uji Spearman’s rho menunjukkan adanya korelasi negatif yang signifikan (p = 0,043; r = -0,233), yang berarti semakin tinggi intensitas bermain game online, semakin rendah kemampuan konsentrasi mahasiswa dalam kegiatan akademik. Temuan ini memperkuat pentingnya kesadaran mahasiswa dalam mengatur waktu bermain secara proporsional agar aktivitas hiburan digital tidak mengganggu efektivitas proses belajar, khususnya dalam disiplin ilmu kedokteran yang menuntut ketelitian, fokus, dan konsistensi tinggi.
