The Effect of Desire and Emotions on Consumer Behavior: An Explanatory Study
Get PDFIn contemporary world, with the affects and the spread of the globalization, consumerism became the central point of our lives. Being consumer means not only using-buying the goods and services but also means to be labeled as “consumers” in sociological level.Consumption can be conceived as an essential part of identity building-maintaining processes. In post-modern societies, desires, emotions, images counted as sociological needs and these need to be fulfilled by individuals. In this study, objectives; which are the injection of emotion to the sociology of consumption, how heuristic is the notion of emotion for sociological consumption is going to be put forward. Emotions are also infused with cultural meaning as well as they plays an imaginary role on psychological level. Since it is researched that the consumption of good are not only about utilitarian value of an object also carries symbolic meanings and semiotic codes. For an emotion to be activated- attractive for theindividuals, elements such as; cognition, evaluation, reaction, affect and motivation need to be put forward. Consumption always carries out and creates the social relationship, which is between self itself and with the others in society. Psychoanalytical analysis on a commercial is also going to be made in order to conclude this study
Factors affecting the adoption of cloud computing based-medical imaging by healthcare professionals
Get PDFCloud computing, the new paradigm, is well utilized in business and education but not in healthcare. In healthcare realm, cloud computing offers the chance to provide patient-oriented care. This study aims to investigate factors affecting the adoption of cloud computing based medical imaging solutions by health care professionals. Multiple regressions test was used in order to test the research hypothesis and come up with research result. According to multiple regressions test, the results of the study illustrates that there is a statistically significant impact of all independent variables (perceived usefulness, perceived ease of use, perceived risk, performance and availability) except for institutional trust and compatibility on the dependent variable of intention to use. Results indicate the impact and the importance of the independent variables and explain the important role of these factors on the intention of users to use cloud computing solutions in the medical sector. Additionally, these findings support findings of some previous related studies. Based on these results, research in the medical sector should pay more attention for these factors

These landscape feature aim to improve the independently living and the quality of life of elderly people and connect them to social life. The sample was chosen a deliberate from a hospital in Baghdad, of gender a girl suffering from anorexia to 15 years old. After that to a follow- up case for two weeks has been making some projective tests and medical checkups to treatments drugs has been given by specialist doctor before a drug (Terblaveton ) , 2-3 mag, to three times a day before eating to help to softening stubbornness and to improves the Appetite . An Overview of Cyber-Security Awareness In Saudi Arabia: The Threat Today and the Expected Future

In 2013, several Saudi Arabiagovernment websites were hacked in a series of sabotage cyber-attacks briefly disabling thembefore the threats were repelled. On 15th August 2012, a self-replicating virus attacked over30000 Windows OS based personal computers belonging to Saudi Aramco deleting data andinformation. It took two weeks and unfathomable losses to restore the data. Multiple researchfindings, articles and academic papers document cyber-attacks threatening security across theworld. Both the government and private enterprises are targets of cyber-attacks. The threats aremore pronounced with increased reliance on information technology and heightened egovernmentpedagogy. Following recent cyber-attacks, this paper digs deep to review theforms of cyber-attacks, the private and publics’ awareness of cyber-security threats, potentialimpacts of cyber-attacks, measures enacted to fight cyber-attack and recommendations to helpraise awareness. Data gathered will be analyzed using SPSS 2.0 software and presented intables, pie charts and graphs. The researcher will calculate standard deviation, percentages. PSS and STATCOM Controller Design Using Fuzzy Logic Controller and Teaching-Learning Based Optimization
Get PDFSTATCOM is one of the most significant devices in FACTS technology which is used in parallel compensation, enhancing the transient stability, limiting the low frequency oscillations and etc. designing a proper controller is effective in operation of STATCOM. In this paper a method is presented for the design of STATCOM and Power System Stabilizer (PSS) controllers in order to enhance the damping of the low frequency oscillations in power systems. The equations that describe the proposed system have been linearized and a Fuzzy Logic Controller (FLC) has been designed for the PSS. Then, the Teaching-Learning Based Optimization (TLBO) is employed to search for the optimal STATCOM controller parameters. The proposed controllers are evaluated on a single machine infinite bus power system with the STATCOM installed in the midpoint of the transmission line. Moreover, a system performance analysis under different operating conditions and some performance indices studies show the effectiveness of the proposed controller
