    New view of multisets relations

    Get PDF
Multiset is a collection of objects in which repetition of elements is significant. In many real life problems, medical investigation and teaching for example, the repetition of cases affects the process of decisions making, and so the multiset is a suitable theory for modeling such cases. In this paper we initiate a matrix representation for relations on multisets and given examples. Also a generalization for composition of relation is defined and its properties are studied, many examples are given. After and for sets for multisets are studied. These suggested relation can help in constructing new connections for multisets with information systems whose objects are multisets

ANIMALS COMMUNITIES IN MOUNTAIN ECOSYSTEM: A GLOBAL VIEW

    Get PDF
This study examined the impact of animal’s communities in mountain ecosystem: a global view.  The difference in climatic variables to some extent determines the species of plants and animals in a particular region or habitat. Increase or decrease of animals’ population within the ecosystem is a function of prevailing climatic conditions and seasonality of the year. The vegetation pattern of mountain is a function of the soil morphology and amount of precipitation received. Animals have a unique and inter-related function in their ecosystem. The objectives of study ascertain the likely impacts of animals’ community in mountain ecosystem as well as the determinant, adaptation and survival of animals within the mountain ecosystem. The study also examined the significant of the biome in animals’ adaptation. The methodology adopted was purely on content analysis of secondary data and observed information from field survey. The study also implored observation techniques of the indices of animals’ habitat within the ecosystem. The result shows that there exist some level of correlations and competition of animals for finite resources in the ecosystem. The variation in regional habitat and biome determines to a great extent the types and species of animals, adaptation and survival. The result also revealed that adaptation of animals is a function of the viability and sustainability of the biome. The way forward to ameliorate extinction of animals in mountain ecosystem is to maintain an increase in animals’ population and also their feeding habitats have to be sustained. The governments at the various levels should intensify efforts on the prevention and invasion of animal communities. Hunting and agricultural practices has to be restricted. Urbanization activities along tracks of forest reverses and mountain ecosystem should be done with caution.&nbsp

    Get PDF
Cyclone is a periodic natural disaster in coastal regions of Bangladesh. Coastalpeoples are vulnerable due to the effects of cyclone and associated multi-hazard impact thatchanges their livelihood pattern. The study area was conducted at Santa village in KhulnaDistrict, a major coastal zone of Bangladesh. A wide range of cyclonic hazards includingstorm surges, water logging and salinity are threaten the lives and livelihoods in this village. Therefore, Peoples are adopted indienous coping knowledge to keep safe their life andproperty. This paper is designed to explore the hazards associated with cyclone and localpeople coping strategies against its concerted risks. So, there is a scope to identify andmapping the cyclonic hazards zone to protect their structure, agriculture, occupation, andlivestock. Participatory Rural Appraisal (PRA) is a valuable tool to identify the hazards zoneand share of opinion easily identify the local coping technique that are being used. Peoples areused traditional knowledge on housing structure, agriculture, consumption, occupation andlivelihood pattern to reduce the risks of cyclone. People also used various safety mechanismsto lessen the negative impact of cyclone without outside assistance. Effective indigenousawareness system, integrate local coping practice with modern technology and improvesocioeconomic condition in a sustainable way are necessary to reduce the losses from multihazardrisk of cyclone

The analysis of causality of economic growth and public debt in Albania

    Get PDF
Albania was able to mantain a level of economic growth and a macroeconomic stability during the last decade, but the high level of the public debt has had growing tendency during the last 5 years, thereby resulting to be enough concerning for a lot of foreign and native analysts in the field of economy. In this research we will study the role of public debt in the Albania’s economic growth for the period 2003-2014, and also the defining factors for these indicators. To discover this causality relationship between the variables it is aplied also the causality test Granger. From the Granger’s analysis, we resulted that we are dealing only with one causality in one direction, that moves from the economic growth, that moves from the economic growth towards the public debt. The theory of co-integration is used to discover if the relationship among the variables is stable and in long terms periods in a manner that the taken politcs in middle terms periods may be efficent also in long terms period

Communication economics: A genius view with Veblen

    Get PDF
Political economics is a vast field per se. And yet communication becomes animportant tool of political economics. Communication is both a part of politicaleconomics and it has an economics on its own. Insomuch as communication is aneconomics, it can be called as communitication economics. Because, especially today, tools of communication is in everywhere dominating people’s life. The morecommunication tools are part of daily life, the more firms are interested in this medium.Firms cannot be considered as merely production mechanisms. Firms can also beproviding services as well as goods. Given that communication is a kind of service, it hasa direct relation with communication economics. This study focuses on the market typesthat are inhabitated in the media sector. Naturally, media sector differentiates in eachindividual jurisdiction and country, but, in general terms, media sector can be deemed tobe emerging the characteristics of an oligopoly model. Being said that, ThorsteinVeblen’s thoughts will enlighten this study. Because, his thoughts about economics areunique and they are very helpful in order to understand why many sectors cannot besegragated from politics economics, so communication sector does. By the mediation ofVeblen’s genius ideas like: leisure class, conspicuous consumption etc., it will submitwider sence to communication economics. As a conclusion, this study will brieflyexamine why communication economis cannot be seperated from political economics bythe mediation of Veblen’s thougths

Marketing of the Body: Policies and Strategies for a Limited Product

    Get PDF
It is accepted that, the idea of natural physical life’s impossibility corresponds to the permanent mediation of culture through the body and to “every culture generated its own physical culture” determination. This response is supported by the argument, which states that the social power’s political form always displays hegemonic body images, reflects ideal body criteria.  Moreover, sovereign power and gender order also maintains the systematization of body. Especially today, need to be perceived as a large-scale political-ideological-economic project for the reformation of body. This study moves from the understanding of modernity’s “free life of body” motto, also from the idea of body’s multi-explanational structure consists of political demands. This means the colonization of body through technology and practises, which created some desires as; immortality, delaying of aging, prevention of a disease and physical collapse, “feasibility” of a healthy and youthful appearance. These desires operates according to “principle of hope” and promises a market that offers different opportunities for individuals. This study build it’s basis to the assigned meanings of body by New Right and also problematizes the presentation of corporeality by marketing strategies. These assumptions will be carried out by the definitions of;  Kreisky’s, Haug’s, Martin’s, Bauman’s “human model” theories

A generalized mathematical model for an ac chopper output voltage

    Get PDF
AC choppers are modified types of ac voltage controllers. They become very popular nowadays in many applications, because objectionable harmonic components of its output voltage and current can be eliminated. The output voltage waveform of the ac chopper may have many patterns with as many segments as desired. This paper presents a generalized mathematical model for the output voltage waveform of an ac chopper. The output voltage waveform is realized by multiplying the control pulses by a sine wave. Many patterns of the output waveform can be produced by setting suitable constraints. The practical circuit of the proposed model is out of the scope of this paper. The model is implemented using MATLAB. Typical patterns are presented to illustrate the versatility of the proposed model
