Does Green Product Innovation affect Performance of Saudi Chemical Industrial Firms?
Although many companies have recognized the concepts of environmental innovation, little research attention has been devoted to the consideration of relations between green product innovation and firm performance. This study aimed to investigate the impact of green product innovation on firms’ performance. A structured questionnaire was developed for the purpose of data collection, and 19 Saudi chemical firms were included. The results show that green product innovation has a positive effect on firms’ performance. These results can help companies involved in manufacturing green products to create a new environment and enhance their business performance
Testing for Randomness in a System
This paper examines the mode of child delivery (Cesarean-section and normal i.e vaginal delivery) in Divine Hospital and Maternity Awka ( the test group) and Nnamdi Azikiwe University Teaching Hospital Nnewi ( the control group) using the runs test. A sample of one year record (Jan 2015 – Dec 2015) of delivery arranged in months were used for the study from both hospitals. The findings revealed that, the average number of birth per month for both hospitals were 36 and 38, the sex ratio at birth (SRB) per month were 113.34 and 97.17 male and female respectively. Each had an equal chance of occurrence. It also revealed that a total of 68.7% mode of delivery were normal for Divine Hospital DHM and 56.9% for NAUTH, Nnewi ,while that of Caesarian-section were 31.3% and 43.1% for both hospital. The sequence at birth (Caesarean-section and normal) for both hospital were non random. The median test was employed to test if there were significant difference in the birth distribution of both hospital and it was discovered that there were no significant difference
Decoupling the Transistor from the Internet in Simulated Annealing
Many systems engineers would agree that, had it not been for redundancy, the analysis of the Turing machine might never have occurred. In fact, few leading analysts would disagree with the understanding of sensor networks. We present a methodology for SMPs (Ochymy), arguing that SCSI disks and evolutionary programming can cooperate to solve this quandary [19]
Impact of Education and Health in Poverty Alleviation in Bangladesh: A logistic Regression Analysis
Education and health provides a foundation for eradicating poverty and fostering economic development. The objective of the study is to analyze the impact of education and health on poverty of household in Bangladesh. The data used are from the Household Income and Expenditure Survey (HIES) 2010 conducted by Bangladesh Bureau of Statistics (BBS). A total of 12,240 households are considered for analyzing the status of household’s poverty. CBN method is employed for estimating poverty of household. Thelogistic regression model shows that an increased in educational level of household’s head and the number of literate member in household, the probability of household being poor is decreased gradually. The results also found that the probability of household being poor is more while the household’s head suffered from various chronic diseases like chronic fever, injuries/disability, eczema, leprosy and asthma/breathing trouble as compared to the household whose head not suffered from any chronic disease. The study results highlights that rural households are poorer than urban households
Assessment of the Results of the Prick Tests Carried Out in Düzce Province
Skin prick test is a simple, inexpensive, reliable, and rapid test that is widely utilized in clinical practice. Allergic conditions develop as a result of various factors including genetic predisposition, humidity, plant cover, and altitude. Our objective was to assess the allergic sensitivity rate among allergic patients in Düzce province. A retrospective patient file evaluation was carried out among 310 subjects attending to a Chest Diseases Outpatient Facility in Düzce with respiratory complaints such as asthma and allergic rhinitis between May 2014 and May 2016. The results of skin prick test were stratified according to age and gender. Of the 310 patients included 187 (60.3%) were male and 123 (39.7%) were female. The most common reaction observed was against D. Farinea in 44 subjects (14.2). Other common reactions included D. Pteronyssinus in 35 patients (11.3%), grass in 19 patients (6.1%), cereals in 19 patients (6.1%), and grass mixture in 16 patients (5.15%). The peak incidence of reactions occurred between 20 and 29 years of age. For atopic patients residing in the province of Düzce, particular attention should be given to dust mite, grass, or cereal allergens
Review of Chapter 7 of the book titled “The Fall of Ottomans” by Eugene Rogan, related to the annihilation of the Armenians.
Subject chapter, Chapter 7 of The Fall of Ottomans, bears no “judicially valid evidences at all”, and is a narration of other people’s narratives or works. It has no chronological consistency or any reasons properly told. These are too many and would require another chapter of verbatim answers which can be documentarily given with ease. The dependable source Taner Akcam (an extreme leftist prison fugitive in 1978, sheltered in Germany for a decade and later transferred to the care of Mr. Dadrian and created as scholar) in all these years has not produced one authentic document, other that “stories or fake evidences”. His salaries at Universities have been paid by rich Armenians. He is doing a “job for the money and support he gets”. The following posting with several references, unless the opposite is proven, weighs his scholarship and ethics: (Note: The blog post and share all polite comments). http://armenians-1915.blogspot.com/2015/05/3547-exposing-akcams-shady-scholarship.html All other younger Turkish scholars and Akçam, I am sure, cannot answer or comment even for a quarter of the documentary evidences attached. Nobel laureate Mr. Pamuk ? He just spoke for 1 million deaths as the password and got the prize thanks to the “complete support, proofreading and alterations of Prof. Maureen Freely”. Mr. Balakian is a “novelist”; in none of these charges we are shown even one page of “authentic evidence”. It is all like separate grand ma tales… As regards Mr. Donald Bloxham’s book, the following two essays will tell you about the photo fakery in his book. Ask Oxford University Press, they acknowledged the fakery but remained silent instead of an apology: http://armenians-1915.blogspot.com/2010/01/2999-forging-past-oup-and-armenian.html My review: http://armenians-1915.blogspot.com/2008/06/2483-shameful-act-of-scholarship-great.html comments on Bloxham and Akcam books put next to each other
Radionuclides Activity and Radiological Hazard Assessment in samples of potato chips by using a High Purity Germanium (HPGe) detector
The average concentration of radionuclide’s in the various potato chips samples were collected from being the most popular markets in Baghdad city - Iraq were measured by use a High Purity Germanium (HPGe) detector. The radionuclide’s observed with reliable regularity belonged to the series-decay naturally occurring radionuclide’s headed by 238U and 232Th as well as the non-series nuclide, 40K. The average concentration of 238U was found the least average concentration value recorded as 0.71 Bq kg-1 .The average concentration of 40K was 68.22 Bq kg-1 For ²³²Th, it was found to have the average concentration 2.06 Bq kg-1 . also was calcualed radium equivalent activity (Raeq), internal hazard index (Hin), external hazard index (Hex) and the annual effective dose(D) for each sample . It was observed that none of the above treatments exceeded the recommended values globally

Cryptography is a very useful tool to protect the properties of data like integrity, privacy, confidentiality in any environment. This paper explores some useful aspects of cryptography in cloud computing environment. There are different types of encryption algorithms used in order to ensure the data security. These algorithms are of different types like symmetric, a symmetric and hashing algorithms. The objective of this paper is performance analysis of selected set of algorithms on the basis of different parameters, so that the best out of all these options is chosen or combinations of some of them can be utilized to secure data in cloud computing environment. The algorithms included in this study are RSA, AES. The parameters which are used for performance analysis are CPU utilization, running time of the code, data encryption capacity. These are the performance parameters which are calculated for every algorithm in cloud based environment i.e. windows azure simulator by utilizing visual studio IDE and profiler services by integrating windows azure SDK. The interpretation of these results are done by using various graphs which shows trend of a particular algorithms on basis of time of encryption and decryption
Design of 330-132-33KV 150MVA Substation
The growing need of continuous power supply in Nigeria cannot be achieved by the number of substations we have today in Nigeria. The Enugu Electricity Distribution Company (EEDC) complains that haphazard development of towns affects its operation because current plans and forecasted load demands are nullified along the processes. A person setting up a small scale industry I an area planned to be residential will really interrupt the load demand operation of EEDC, by not notifying them when the new load is added to the existing one. The consequence of this is that built-in reserve in the network is then quickly used up and slight problem will put everyone into darkness. Thus with the technological advancements and emergence of several sophistications of equipment in power system, this research work studies design of 330/132/33KV, 150MVA substation. Considering the fault levels and then affect on system reliability by incorporating the new technological developments and necessary protections to safeguard the system equipment Keywords: Design, Dynamically, Electromotive force, Electrical energy, Energy
The Role of Capacity Utilization Rate at the Measuring Output Gap in Turkey
The output gap is one of the basic indicators of the used determination of the inflation. It refers to the difference between the actual output and the potential output. If the output value is positive, there is inflationary pressure in the economy. If it's valued negative, there is deflationary pressure in the economy. The correct representation of the output gaps is of particular importance under the inflation targeting regime. In the literature, it is seen that industrial production index is highly used as output indicators. In the study is search answer the “The manufacturing capacity utilization rate is more effective indicator than industrial production index indicator of determining the output gap in Turkey,? question. This study is examined the relationship between work, capacity utilization rate, industrial production index and consumer-based inflation, using theVector Autoregressive Model (VAR) and Relative Sensitivity Analyzes for the period2002-2016. As a result of the study, it is seen that the capacity utilization rate of the manufacturing industry is an effective indicator as output gap on inflation compared to the industrial production index
