Why does project information fail to deliver promised outcomes?
Achievement of project goals or deliverables has always been a topic of debate among the scholars and experts of the project management. This study is directed towards exploring the root factors regarding the research objectives and hypothesis in the project documents. Our study is based on descriptive design, deductive approach and quantitative method. We have conducted a survey with sample population of two hundred and fifty participants. The findings and analysis of the study highlighted that project management; governance and project model selection are the primary factors that have a direct relationship with the project benefit realization process. On the other hand, resource allocation is influenced by human errors in decision making process of project which can ultimately reduce the benefit realization process. Although this study has made a thorough analysis for assessing the factors that can hamper project outcome and delivery, future research can identify external factors that influence project management processes.

Corrupt Leadership, an Antecedent to Global Epileptic Socio-economic Growth, Nigerian Example: Dramaturgy and visions
Self interest is the invisible hand that controls the political, social and economiccorrupt trends in Nigeria. There are deviation and diversions of interests. Leadership inNigeria becomes bedeviled with depravity; reliability deteriorates while the populace wallowsin hunger and decadence. No matter the current shades of corruption in the country, corruption cannot be canon for governance since we still have devoted, loyal andconscientious apostles of social change and justice such as; Emeka Nwabueze and FemiOsofisan. They are the likes of intellectuals constrained from directing the affairs of thiscountry by harsh demands on public officers. Their plays among other perspectives arethorough attempts at picturing and unveiling corrupt leadership and the consequent epilepticeconomy and underdevelopment in the country. Specifically, this paper expresses theessential nature of leadership and Nigerian leaders in retrospect then employ the creativeingenuity of these social crusaders to ex-ray the selfish corrupt leaders in their variouscontexts. Theoretically, this paper trails the footprints of the sociologists and proves thatliterary works should not be isolated from the social contexts in which they are embedded. The essay deduces that the country is undergoing crises of leadership which is an antecedentto underdevelopment
Pulse Power Modeling and Analysis For Electromagnetic Accelerator Design
This paper models a pulse forming network consisting of series of high voltageenergy storage capacitors and inductors. These accumulate electrical energy over acomparatively long time, and then release the stored energy in the form of a relatively squarepulse of comparatively short duration for pulsed power application. As railguns move frombasic research of the electromagnetic acceleration technology to the development of systemsfor specific applications, a wide variety of power supply and railgun systems is beinginvestigated. The problem with most of the research work on improvement of railgun systemfor efficient acceleration of masses to impressive velocities centers on how to provide theprimary energy store, and how to make the armature current more nearly constant with timeduring the entire shot period. This has not been solved till date. This paper provides asimplified and enhanced model for pulse power storage and transfer. The model is made up of30 capacitors arranged into 6 sub- banks. Each of the sub-banks has five capacitors of thesame ratings connected in series for voltage maximization. The capacitor banks are linked inparallel with an inductor connected across the sub-banks. Each section of the bank is charged2000V. The resulting pulse power discharge is a square wave with 258μs pulse duration andthe 2000V initial condition results in a 1000V, 20000A (20kA) square pulse into the 49mΩload resistor that represents the power device. The transferred energy of the network is 5.2kJand the pulse power delivered by the model is 20MW
Manpower Planning and Education Innovations: the Nigeria’s Experience
Education is the means by which citizens are equipped with the necessary attitudes, knowledge and skills that will enable them contribute meaningfully to national and human development. This paper therefore examined the need for manpower planning and education innovations in Nigeria. A survey design was used for this study with a population of one hundred and thirty –three (133) academic and administrative staff from the rank of Deans, Heads of Departments and Senior lecturers from eight (8) tertiary institutions in South- Eastern parts of Nigeria. No sample was used since the population was small and manageable. Research questionnaires where used to collect data from participants. Mean and standard deviation were used to answer the research questions, while the t-test and chi-square were used to test the hypotheses at P-value of 0.05 or 5% level of significances. The findings of the study revealed that manpower structure in the Nigerian education sector had been able to yield the expected results. It equally revealed that education in Nigeria in the last two decades had undergone a series of tremendous structuring and restructuring which resulted to under utilization and loss of trained manpower in the teaching profession. However, the research paper offered practical suggestions to find solution for the situation so that the Nigerian educational system can stem the over-production of real manpower needs for the required national development
