ACCEPTANCE OF E-PAYMENT IN THE KSA
Get PDFThis study aims to obtain a better understanding of the acceptance of epaymentin KSA. The obstacles to the adoption of the e-payment system in KSA and theadvancement of e-payment systems are discussed. A theoretical framework is used for thestudy. Using empirical analysis, factors influencing the evolution of e-payment and therole of e-payment in KSA are analysed.A deductive approach is used for this study. Data are collected from both primary andsecondary sources, and a hypothesis is proposed. A literature review is conducted toexamine the topics of e-commerce, e-payments, e-commerce in the economicdevelopment of Saudi Arabia, adoption of e-payment in Saudi Arabia, and customer trustin e-payment. 300 questionnaires are distributed to internet users who have consideredusing online payment during their purchases. The study showed that the acceptance of epaymentin KSA is promoted and that customers have started accepting it. Through dataanalysis, the researcher found that e-payment is an easy way to do transactions.Customers believe that online payments are safe and authentic. E-payment usage has alsoincreased n response to instances of purse snatchings and robberies. Because of thebenefits and efficient outcomes of e-payment, it is considered the best alternative to cashpayment by customers

The study proposed several recommendations andrecommendations, the most important of which was the development of the strategic planof the organizations and their periodic review with the leaders, the inclusion of knowledgemanagement within the organizational units or departments of the organization and itssupport of specialized human competencies, the establishment of a supportiveorganizational culture for knowledge sharing and exchange, And develop a system ofincentives to encourage individuals to exchange and share their knowledge and skills, andto create a climate conducive to the application of organizational knowledge management
THE ROLE OF KNOWLEDGE SHARING AMONG THE STAKEHOLDERS TO REDUCE THE CYBERCRIME: PROPOSED MODEL
Get PDFThis study has focused on recognizing the mechanism through which the role of knowledge exchange between the stakeholders can be identified so that cybercrimes could be minimized. To this aim, and within the frame of the concept of ‘Cybercrime’, a knowledge form has been proposed. This study aims to recognize and identify the entities directly connected to cybercrimes and identify the currently embraced procedures in relation with information and data share and knowledge among these entities. It further aims to recognize the nature of such cybercrimes prevalent in Saudi Arabia. A community of the study was composed of Internet users. The researcher has employed the survey and descriptive approaches. Additionally, a questionnaire composed of two sections has been designed. Section I covers the personal information of members of the sample group. Section II includes 15 questions about sharing of data and information in order to minimize the cybercrimes. The questionnaire was digitally distributed. The right questionnaires have reached 2237 . Findings of the study revealed that the most prevalent cybercrimes to which members of the sample group was subject were the Email interception with a percentage standing at 27.33%. In the second rank, the three cybercrimes of financial hacking, identity theft and using malicious codes come with roughly approximate percentages. Members of the sample group have realized that sharing of data and information about cybercrimes could minimize the occurrence of such crimes. The study has made a number of recommendations as follows: providing additional interest to the relevant entities identified under the Law of Cybercrimes and demonstrate the penalties of such offenses. The study has also recommended attention be given to students in the schools and universities – especially in relation to cybercrimes – and how to use websites as well as the positive employment of such websites.Owing to the findings revealed by the study that signal the low rate of cybercrimes being reported by victimized persons, there is a dire need for raising the awareness about reporting such incidents and assuming the responsibility for confronting those cybercriminals to protect the society against their ill deed
مستوى المشكلات التي تواجه الطلبة الموهوبين في مدارس اليوبيل من وجهة نظرهم في ضوء بعض المتغيرات
No full textهدفت الدراسة إلى تعرف المشكلات التي تواجه الطلبة الموهوبين في مدارس اليوبيل بالعاصمة عمان من وجهة نظرهم. وتم اختيار عينة عشوائية من مجتمع الطلبة الموهوبين، بلغ عددها (210) طالباً وطالبة. وقام الباحث بتطوير استبانة لتعرف مستوى مشكلات الطلبة الموهوبين في مدارس اليوبيل وتم حساب صدق وثبات أداة الدراسة. وأظهرت النتائج أن مستوى مشكلات الطلبة الموهوبين في مدارس اليوبيل من وجهة نظرهم كانت منخفضة في جميع المجالات وعلى المجموع الكلي. ولم تظهر النتائج وجود أي فروق دالة إحصائياً في مستوى مشكلات الطلبة الموهوبين في مدارس اليوبيل من وجهة نظرهم تعزى لمتغيري النوع والمرحلة الدراسية
INFORMATION ARCHITECTURE FOR ARABIC SPORTS WEBSITES: A CASE STUDY ON KOOORA WEBSITE

Most of the readers interested in the field of sports have turned to sports websites, Which has become saturating their information needs, News, instant material, video clips, and the data that synchronized with the sports events. From here, The need arises to study information architecture in Arabic sports websites, to identify navigation systems, display and organize of information in their pages, thus linking sports users with services and content and facilitating their task in accessing the information required. This study deals with aspects of information architecture within Kooora.com, which is a suitable model for this study among all the Arabic sports websites, using the Case Study approach to identify the application of information architecture systems in the information structure of the website. The results of the study reached that there is a plan to classify and organize information, and that there is a logical relationship between information elements within the website. The study also confirmed the adoption of Kooora.com on embedded navigation systems, including the Global Navigation System, which was found by the study to be the most suitable for the information structure of Kooora.com

Furthermore, the study aimed to identify the strengths and weaknesses in the program (Safir), to fulfill these objectives, the descriptive analytical method is used in this study, where the researcher used the questionnaire to collect primary data. the study population consists of the scholarship of Al Baha university within the teaching staff and staff members who are studying abroad. The study' sample was selected randomly to represent a sample of teaching staff and staff members reach a number of (148) individual. The study concluded that the it is important to note that Safire’s program is very responsive to the wishes of the students. It provides all information to all users without exception, and that the success of the (Safir) program in providing tracking and commenting on all transactions, while the study showed that the level of provision of services on behalf of all government services for students is below than the required level, the Safire website is also secured so that third parties cannot access the personal information, details and inquiries of students and answer them. the main recommendations of the study include the need to do more to support the content of Safire’s program so to be more modern, researcher recommends that all employees in the Safire's program sections abroad from the employees of the ministry of higher education or Saudi employees of the custodian of the two holy mosques program for external scholarship

Factors Effecting Knowledge Sharing among King Abdulaziz University Hospital’s Physicians:A Qualitative Study using Grounded Theory
Get PDFThe aim of this study is to identify the main factors and their sub-dimensions that influence the sharing of knowledge among physicians working at King Abdulaziz University Hospital in Jeddah. The importance of the study is that it follows one of the qualitative research methods: Grounded Theory in the most important knowledge management processes (Knowledge Sharing). The study relied on qualitative research using the Grounded Theory to discovery of the factors influencing the sharing of knowledge and the method of content analysis in the analysis of the content of the previous related studies. In order to prepare a preliminary list of key factors and sub-factors affecting the sharing of knowledge among physicians after subjecting them to coding processes used in qualitative research. In addition to the survey approach, 25 doctors represented a target sample of over 10 years experience of university medical doctors at the university hospital. The number of doctors was 25 from different clinical departments, and the interview was used as a data collection tool. . The main findings of the study are a list of the most important factors affecting the sharing of knowledge from the perspective of doctors themselves. It includes seven main factors (organizational culture, organizational structure, IT infrastructure, behavioral and personal factors, senior management support, incentives, training, development and learning). Each major factor on a number of sub-factors was shown as a typical framework, and the results showed that there was no electronic platform for knowledge sharing among physicians at the university hospital. One of the most important recommendations of the study is to provide a specialized department for the various knowledge management processes in the university hospital and to provide all forms of material, moral and technical support to this department. Making the efforts of senior management focused and stimulating to share knowledge between doctors and medical staff in general. And emphasize the need to take into account the incentive system at the university and the university hospital for the processes of sharing and transfer of knowledge and exchange between doctors
Critical Role of Entrepreneurship and Strategic Management in Generating Organization’s Wealth; Structural Equation Modelling Analysis
Get PDFThe study aims to assess the critical role of entrepreneurship and strategic management in generating organization’s wealth using structural equation modelling analysis. The data was collected from 52 private hospitals in Jordan using structural equation modelling. A total of 117 managers, directors and heads of the departments were recruited in this study. Entrepreneurship mindset was found to be significantly and positively related to the performance innovative effectiveness. Business alignment was also positively and significantly related to the performance innovative effectiveness. Performance innovative effectiveness was found to be positively but insignificantly related with the generation of organization’s wealth. The study concluded a positive impact of strategic management and entrepreneurship on the generation of organization’s wealth
