    Get PDF
Artificial Intelligence (AI) is becoming more heavily utilised in enterprise decision-making process, and it is being speculated that AI is on course to becoming capable of fully supporting autonomous decision-making. However, there are significant, non-replicable, human elements in a decision-making process, which are inherently absent in AI systems. This raises the question of the extent to which AI is able to support decision-making in its current form. AI has been heavily researched in the literature, but its role in enterprise decision making have only been very recently realised. It is important to realise where AI assisted decision-making process stands today. Most of the research conducted on AI decision-support systems have focused on the possibilities, opportunities, and challenges of being integrated into an enterprise decision-making process. What is lacking in the literature is an aggregate of the findings so that future research directions and investment opportunities can be better explored. In order to fill this gap, this research qualitatively analyses the very recent existing literature on AI’s contribution to enterprise decision-making process. The methodology applied is secondary data analysis in the form of a literature review conducted using the PRISMA method. Seminal research papers have been reviewed, and their findings analysed and aggregated. The findings indicate that AI is most utilised in data processing as this requires little input from humans other than feeding large, fast-paced, real-time data. The findings further show that beyond the decision-making process, AI is used in market prediction, and in healthcare enterprises for making medical oriented decisions. Finally, the most common AI algorithms that are utilised to help in enterprise decision-making process are artificial neural networks and swarm intelligence. Based on the findings, this research also suggests future research implications for academics

In view of the large and increasing risks to information security, privacy and copyright, it was necessary to find and develop technical and legislative solutions that guarantee the security of documents and digital files, whether circulated, published or archived. In the past few years, several solutions have been developed to provide the maximum possible level of protection for data, files and digital repositories. Each of these solutions had qualitative, competitive and specialized advantages, but on the other hand some of them had some drawbacks, whether in terms of efficiency or the possibility of wide application or their impact on the quality and effectiveness of scientific participation, publishing transparency and property rights. We are well aware of the impact of fear of the dangers of privacy, theft, plagiarism, quotation and disruptive piracy on the level of scientific participation and the scientific research movement in general. This leads researchers around the world to try to develop solutions that combine cybersecurity with the effectiveness of publishing and sharing. This research paper aims to study and analyze some of the currently used methods in the protection and security of digital files and documents, discuss the feasibility, effectiveness and flexibility of each of them, and come up with the best methods, tools and practices that guarantee the security of digital files. And this is through the critical scientific method of some studies that have dealt with these methods, especially recent studies, because progress in this field is very fast. Hardly a few months pass without us finding new systems and tools that have been developed in the field of information security and have canceled or modified what preceded them. We have reached some important results, which we will detail at the end of this paper, but it is worth noting here the most important of these results. Such as the seriousness of the threats facing stored and circulating documents, to the national security of each country, to the scientific research movement, as well as to the confidentiality and privacy of data. Several aspects as well as comprehensive solutions for securing digital documents. &nbsp

The aim of this study is to measure the degree of confidence in the role played by social media websites as a source of health information, to identify the most important of these websites, and to detect the positive and negative effects resulting from the use of them. In order to achieve these objectives, the study is based on the social survey method. The survey questionnaires were used to collect data. The research was applied in King Abdul Aziz University on a sample of 345 postgraduate students in the Faculty of Arts and Humanities in 2018. Those holding a university qualification represent the stratified random sampling.      The study reached a number of results, the most important of which is that 81% of the participants reported that using social media websites to gain awareness and to ensure the reliability of mutual health information was effective. It was also found that all the effects of participants' reliance on social media as a source of health information under study were of interest to participants; for the most health, topics that drew the interest of the participants on the social media websites were "first aid" followed by "a specific type of diseases or diseases in general". The results of the test showed that males deal with health issues such as serious diseases, non-serious seasonal diseases, diseases that scientists have discovered more recently than females; while females focus more on issues of reproduction, women's and children's health, as well as mental and psychological health more than males.      It was also found that the relationship between health issues that are talked about more than others in social media websites, and years of practical experience revealed the existence of differences between the different categories of years of practical experience for serious diseases. It turned out that people with more than 15 years of experience are dealing with the subject of serious diseases more than those with less than five years of practical experience.      The study has revealed that the first source to rely on when seeking health information was "doctors and pharmacists" followed by "the Internet". The use of these websites has many positive effects; the most important of which are the intellectual openness, the exchange of knowledge, and the dissemination of health awareness. However, the increase of fears and concerns are among the most negative effects. The study is concluded with a set of recommendations; for instance: To organize awareness sessions for postgraduate students about how to use social media websites in the health fieldTo employ modern communication technology in the process of spreading health awarenessTo conduct similar studies on different communities, including: faculty staff-members, university undergraduate students, and students at basic school level
