The Role of Management Information Systems in Improving Modern Management Outcomes: An Applied Study on Female Employees of King Abdul-Aziz University
The study aims to identify the level of efficiency of management information systems in improving management outcomes at King Abdul-Aziz University , female section, as well as identifying the availability of the requirements for implementing management information systems. It used the descriptive analytical method and a questionnaire as a tool for data collection. The construct validity of the questionnaire was validated using Cronbach's alpha coefficients scale to measure the level of internal consistency. The study tool (electronic questionnaire) was distributed to a purposive sample of deanship employees represented in (Deanship of Admission and Registration, Deanship of Postgraduate Studies and Deanship of Distance Education), who numbered (80). Statistical packages for the social sciences (SPSS) were used to analyze the collected data. The study found a strong direct relationship between the availability of management information systems administration and operation requirements and the role of management information systems in improving job performance, which indicates a strong direct relationship between the role of management information systems in improving job performance and the availability of management information systems administration and operation requirements. The study recommended the following: Conducting a similar study to the current one on another Saudi university. Conducting comparative studies of the efficiency level of management information systems in improving management outcomes among other Saudi universities. Raising the degree of availability of human and technical supplies in the management information system at King Abdul-Aziz University - female section. Involving the female employees of the deanships represented by the current study in the process of developing the used management information system due to their high degree of awareness and approval of the system’s efficiency and benefiting from their personal experiences
How to Run a Project more effectively using Lean Management
Lean management has been commented as being one of the most effective and efficient forms of management through waste minimisation and maximising resource utilisation. Organisations have two types of lean management concerns, social and technical. Social lean management involves managing the human-centric aspects of the organisation, and technical lean management involves the use of training, tools, operations management and organisational culture. SWOT analysis of both social and technical factors are conducted. Social factors include human resource management, leadership management, and employee management. Technical factors include operations management, and organisational culture. The SWOT analysis reveals that the strength of lean management is in its ability to holistically improve the knowledge, skills, communication, collaborative efforts, motivation to work, health and safety protocols, transparency, trust, effectiveness and efficiency of the organisation. Weaknesses of lean management lies in its high requirements of investment, in terms of money, time, and effort, with a lot of resources needing to be dedicated to training and management, in buying operations management tools and in hiring coaches for leadership roles, with success being the only option due to low tolerance of error. In terms of opportunity, it allows an organisation to become more noticeable in the market, innovate more, collaborate more, create stronger relationships, ore out of workers by encouraging them to go above and beyond the minimum requirements of their jobs, and create leaders from within the organisation. Finally, lean management can be a threat for those organisations that falter, or cannot dedicate fully to lean implementation stages, incurring huge losses for the organisation, and causing them to fall behind in the competition, as well as pose a risk of low job satisfaction due to large levels of stress from high expectations of needing to adapt quickly. Based on the SWOT analysis, future recommendations are made for organisation to adopt lean management

Expert systems are one of the most important applications of artificial intelligence, which is used in many educational technology researches to solve many problems, and artificial intelligence is one of the branches of computer science, which mainly depends on the idea of induction and inference. Expert systems are smart educational programs that can be used in solving practical education problems facing students, teachers, and help them solve these problems and the ability to make sound decisions. The current study aimed to clarify the relationship between artificial intelligence, "expert systems" and the decision-making process. Building and components of expert systems based on knowledge management. The study reached a set of results, the most important of which is that information is one of the strategic resources in any administrative apparatus, as many basic operations cannot be performed, or a decision taken without relying on information. The study also concluded the superiority of artificial intelligence "expert systems" over traditional information systems and made a set of recommendations, including the need to start using artificial intelligence techniques to improve the efficiency of services and products and accelerate the creation of training programs to build smart systems in industrial, commercial and educational institutions
A comparative study between archiving programs from the perspective of producing companies
Electronic archiving programs have different features and characteristics. There are programs concerned with large companies and others for medium companies as well as for small companies, which necessitates conducting a study to compare these types and to know the similarities and differences between the programs. Hence the main objective of this study is to identify the electronic archiving programs and to know the similarities and differences between these programs from the perspective of the company producing them. The study concluded with many results, the most important of which are: iDOX, Laserfiche, DOCUWARE, EASY DOCS are characterized by the availability of a digital signature, DOCUWARE, IDOX have a full-text indexing system, IDOX, ArcMate Enterprise, EASY DOCS support many languages, including Arabic, The study recommended conducting more research in the field of electronic archiving and the necessity of identifying the appropriate types of programs that suit each company or institution, conducting more comparative studies between electronic archiving programs to strive to develop them and to make the most of their advantages
Quantification of heavy metal levels in local rice (Oryza sativa) consumed in Anambra State, Nigeria
Rice is a little solid seed which is the most requested grain crop. Injection of this crop while contaminated can cause harm to the human organs. For this reason, the urge to study the Quantification of heavy metals in rice grain arises. Four towns in Anambra State (Nzam, Omor, Otuocha, Ufuma) were sampled. In the samples of the rice, analysis of heavy metals were conducted using Atomic Absorbance Spectrophotometer to determine the heavy metals present in the samples and the mean levels of heavy metals found in rice grains were; For lead: 0.0078mg/kg (Nzam), 0.1250mg/kg (Omor), 0.2070mg/kg (Otuocha). For Arsenic: 14.8889mg/kg (Nzam), 12.8333mg/kg (Omor), 12.8889mg/kg (Otuocha), and 12.3333 mg/kg (Ufuma). For Zinc: 0.7110mg/kg (Nzam), 0.7474mg/kg (Omor), 1.5930mg/kg (Otuocha), and 0.2518 mg/kg (Ufuma). For Iron: 0.6390mg/kg (Nzam), 0.5352mg/kg (Omor), 0.6194mg/kg (Otuocha), and 0.5709mg/kg (Ufuma). For Manganese: 0.0578mg/kg (Nzam), 0.0104mg/kg (Omor), and 0.714mg/kg (Ufuma). For Nickel: 0.0756mg/kg (Ufuma). There is no observed level of Cd, Co, Cu and Cr in the rice grown in these four towns (Nzam, Omor, Otuocha, Ufuma). With the results gotten from this Analysis, some rice samples were within the acceptable limit set by FAO/WHO while some were not within the permissible limit and it is therefore recommended that these four towns should be monitored continuously
An Analysis of Knowledge Management Processes in intelligent chatbot Systems to Meet the Needs of The Government's sector Customers
Artificial intelligence is one of the most notable elements of the Fourth Industrial Revolution, with government sectors adopting AI-supported systems such as intelligent chatbot systems to keep up with the digital transformation and meet the needs of their customers. It is vital to guarantee that these technologies are built on knowledge management processes in order to fully utilize them. This study aimed to analyze the knowledge management processes on which intelligent chatbot systems are based and supported by artificial intelligence techniques to meet the needs of customers of government ministries. The study used the content analysis approach, Drawing upon the literature review and analysis of knowledge management processes on which the intelligent chatbot Systems are based between (2007) until (2020). An application analysis content form was used as a tool for the study. The results of this study show that intelligent chatbot systems are based on the following processes: knowledge extraction, knowledge organization, knowledge storage, knowledge retrieval, knowledge update
Knowledge Management and Performance Improvement: A Scientific Review of Intellectual Production and Research Trends
The success of the organization has been associated with the extent of its ability to exploit the knowledge it possesses and the extent of its ability to create new knowledge to be employed in devising work methods that give new outputs that work to meet its needs and achieve its goals. This study aims at identifying the importance of knowledge management and performance improvement in organizations and the employment of knowledge management processes in organizations. As well, it seeks to highlight the role that knowledge management processes play in improving performance. The importance of the study is in identifying the importance of knowledge management in public and private organizations and its role in improving their performance, as well as identifying research trends for knowledge management and performance improvement to serve as a guide for researchers in their future studies. The researchers used the documentary method. Thus, after reviewing the intellectual production, the study concluded that knowledge management is a topic that integrates with other modern intellectual topics in the field of management such as quality management and business re-engineering, which enhance the development of knowledge and contribute directly to improving the level of performance in organizations and to their goals achievement. The study recommended the necessity that the higher departments in organizations give a great importance to knowledge management because of its positive impact on improving overall performance in all aspects to raise the efficiency of the organization and increase its production. It is also very important to have strategic plans for knowledge employment through which organizations work in order to improve their practical capabilities

In light of the digital revolution, the digital content industry, electronic publishing, the increase in Internet sites, communication networks,government, service, commercial and entertainment applications, the protection of intellectual property rights, patents and programs from piracy and infringement of rights and harm to the owners of these rights has become the subject of research and study on what are the challenges facing these institutions and capacity to carry out the tasks required in protecting intellectual property rights and information security, and what is the feasibility in activating the monitoring institutions and the necessary legislation to guarantee rights. In this scientific paper, we will review some studies that discussed the mechanisms of preserving legal, social, technical and economic rights. Through the use of the critical approach of these studies, we aim to address deficiencies at the level of individuals, centers and institutions of intellectual production and issues related to legislation and in institutions concerned with monitoring and protecting intellectual property rights and patents and monitoring programs from piracy, as we concluded that the weakness of legislation and the difficulty of finding uniform standards with weakness qualification of human cadres and poor awareness were among the most prominent issues of deficiency in protecting rights, and accordingly the recommendation came to activate and qualify institutions and institutional work in the field of intellectual protection in terms of material and moral support, support research and development centers, encourage innovation, register patents, spread awareness among the public, and create deterrent laws
Scientific Cases of File Systems and Indexes: A Survey of Problems, Difficulties and Proposals for Treatment
Automated systems for libraries are one of the effective tools through which libraries achieve the desired goals, so interest in information and ways to deal with it has become the most important concern of our time, and the success of libraries and information centers is linked to the success of the information service provided and its existence, and with technological developments that led to radical changes in indexing, which turned into a system. An index to which most libraries have suffered from application and use problems. These problems have been divided into human problems, financial problems and technical problems with the presentation of the most prominent automated systems contained in the studies selected for the subject of the scientific paper, including the system (Nama System - Koha System - Horizon System - Dubis Labis System - Menezes System) ). This work was presented as a result of observing many of the problems and difficulties faced by the beneficiaries in their use of the automated systems and standing on the most prominent problems of implementing the automated system for libraries and information centers, clarifying the most prominent automated systems used by libraries and information centers and working on recommending the adoption of an automated system with high technical and administrative specifications. The researcher prepared this scientific paper entitled "Scientific Cases of File Systems and Indexes, a Survey Study on Problems, Difficulties and Treatment Proposals" to clarify the most prominent features of the automated systems applied in public university libraries and information centers and summarize them as much as possible, and as he hoped to be a reference for various libraries and information centers that aspire to use the system. Index that has high specifications, quality and speed in the delivery of information, the paper aimed to identify the difficulties and problems faced by the community of beneficiaries for their use of automated systems and the problems of application of automated systems and to identify the most prominent automated system that has high features, quality and efficiency of a high nature, and the researcher used the evaluation approach Among the most prominent results of the paper: Classifying the problems of applying automatic systems into three problems, represented by human, technical and financial problems, in order to reach the most major problems that studies have gathered as they represent the first challenge in the application of automated systems, which are human problems, followed by financial problems and finally technical problems, as recommended.
