    The Role of Artificial Intelligence in Supporting Quality Decision-Making in Organizations

    The decision-making process is one of the administrative processes taken by the departments in the organizations. In fact, it is one of the challenges they face. Indeed, the quality of decision-making process may not be completed as required if it is done in a traditional way. The use of modern technology in organizations has contributed to raising the quality of decisions, and here comes the role of artificial intelligence in its ability to solve problems and to predict the future to know the appropriate decisions that the organization must take to raise its level in all marketing, financial and organizational fields. This systematic review aims at knowing the role of artificial intelligence in improving the quality of decision-making in organizations, and the extent to which organizations are prepared to face challenges and obstacles when adopting artificial intelligence techniques in their organizations. This is done by surveying and analyzing studies that dealt with this topic in terms of importance, objective, methodology and what they reached as results and knowledge of the most important proposed models that help organizations measure their readiness and apply some algorithms and techniques to raise the quality of decisions in organizations. One of the most important findings of the study was that the application of artificial intelligence techniques helps organizations analyze clients and review data to help them make the right decision to support customers and deal with their complaints. In fact, artificial intelligence provided organizations with a comprehensive understanding regarding the accuracy of prediction and appropriate decision-making. It was also found that some organizations are ready to employ artificial intelligence in several areas within the organization in order to make decisions, raise efficiency, reduce costs, and increase profits. It also helps in the process of detecting crises related to the company's events. Thus, we find that these results have a great impact on the community of organizations and it motivates them to quickly prepare for the application of artificial intelligence techniques to support the quality of their decisions to obtain sustainable development. The most important recommendations are that organizations and their decision-makers must ensure their readiness to apply artificial intelligence techniques while providing models and special work methods for organizations' decision support programs to help them in how to apply and implement them to reach the desired goals of high-quality decisions that raise the level and performance of organizations

    Methods of Preserving and Exchanging Electronic Files: A Survey Study

    The digital preservation of electronic files is a process of great importance because of its role in preserving lost and damaged documents, as well as facilitating access to these files and the ease of sharing and exchanging them. Given the importance of the process of preserving and exchanging electronic files, several strategies have emerged that contribute to the process of careful management and digital preservation of electronic files, to take into account all factors, including cost and return. In addition, many countries have put in place legislation and principles governing the process of preserving files. At present, many techniques and methods are used to preserve electronic files. In this scientific paper, we will highlight methods to preserve and exchange electronic files, to identify the most prominent and most important methods that are relied upon for preserving and exchanging electronic files, according to the great technological development witnessed by the current era, and the trend of all individuals, institutions and sectors towards storing data in electronic files. To achieve this goal, the descriptive survey approach will be relied upon as the main approach to preparing the scientific paper. Several research studies and scientific articles on the subject of the study have been reviewed in Arabic and English, and it has been concluded that (desktop storage, cold storage, social media storage, cloud storage, personal hybrid cloud storage) are among the most prominent methods of preserving electronic files. The results also confirmed that the lack of legal legislation and functional standards that regulate the process of managing electronic records will contribute to creating many problems and destroying and stealing electronic files. It has also been found that the process of saving and managing files electronically improves efficiency rates in the performance of companies, in addition to a positive reflection on the financial costs that the company allocates to the process of electronic file preservation. According to the results, the researcher concluded a set of conclusions, including the most prominent:  the existence of great importance of the electronic file preservation process, given its role in facilitating and speeding up access to them, because it benefits different companies and institutions in improving employee performance rates and increasing productivity rates. Despite the importance of electronic file preservation, many problems are facing this process, such as confidentiality and privacy problems, hacking and theft of files by hackers as well as several problems such as storage space and accessibility. According to the results reached, the researcher suggests several recommendations, including the most important: The need to pay attention to the process of developing the necessary strategies and legislation that will facilitate the process of managing, organizing, preserving, and exchanging electronic files, as well as to training courses for workers in the field of digital preservation of electronic files, to increase and improve their skills in dealing with the various electronic preservation methods of electronic files

    Technical Characteristics and Standards Adapted for Electronic Archiving: An Evaluation Study

This paper has directed to the analysis, examination and evaluation of a number of studies that discussed the most prominent technical standards and characteristics in electronic archiving systems in order to exit Among them is a list that lists the most prominent "main" technical standards and characteristics, and to achieve the desired goal, the study adopted the method of critical evaluation, whereby a number of Arab and foreign studies were enumerated and analyzed, which amounted to 14 studies, and reached a number of results, the most prominent of which are: Five criteria Main technical standards important to have in any archiving system, namely: capture, organization, storage and disposal, search and retrieval, management. As for the sub-technical criteria, the degree of their important depends on the needs of the institution, and a number of (26) of the technical characteristics that were collected from Previous studies, which represent a necessity, must be available in a good electronic archiving system, and thus the process of choosing electronic archiving systems according to the main technical standards will facilitate the institutions Where the difference of view on the main technical standards of electronic archiving has been resolved and standardized, and thus electronic archiving systems will be able to properly manage and archive their records. This study has recommended that it is better for future studies to focus on studying functional requirements from specialized aspects, as the benefit will be greater, and the necessity of adopting a standard list of technical specifications categorized by the degree of importance of each standard from an important basic standard, an important sub-standard and an optional standard. &nbsp

    Saudi women's role in the development of society in light of Vision 2030 (Descriptive study on a sample of working women in Jeddah)

    This is a study entitled (The Role of Saudi Women in Community Development in the Light of Vision 2030). This study aimed to know the role of Saudi women in community development in light of the 2030 vision of working women in the city of Jeddah in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. In the study, the researcher used the descriptive approach, using a questionnaire tool to measure the respondents' opinions, and using the statistical analysis program (SPSS) to analyze the data collected, where (243) female workers were collected and a descriptive analysis of the respondents was conducted. The results of the study confirmed that there is a role for Saudi women in the development of society in the light of the 2030 vision from the point of view of female workers in the city of Jeddah at a rate of (4,280) to a very high degree. The first axis is the role of Saudi women in community development in light of the Kingdom’s vision (2030). The highest degree of approval by female workers at a very high degree, with an average of (4.494), and the third axis, which is the obstacles facing Saudi women to play their role in the development of society in light of the Kingdom’s vision (2030), obtained the lowest degree of approval by female workers in the city of Jeddah with a high degree and an average of (4.043). The study recommends removing the obstacles that limit the role of women in the development of society in the light of Vision 2030, as well as activating the role of universities in raising the level of awareness of women towards themselves and society, enhancing the role of Saudi women in accordance with the aspirations and foundations of the Kingdom’s Vision 2030, and promoting activities and events that highlight the identity of women.     This study evaluated the perceptions of healthcare professionals in Najran hospitals, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, towards hand hygiene according to the World Health Organization (WHO) validated questionnaire. A total of 405 questionnaires were evaluated. The study participants had sufficient knowledge about the hand hygiene practices, in particular the importance of alcohol-based scrubbing in decreasing health-care associated infections. The health-care workers needed a better understanding about the infection prevention data in their particular institutions

Cloud archiving technology has contributed to the development and transfer of electronic archiving systems, a quantum leap and addressed the challenges and problems of on-premises electronic document management systems. Machine learning technology has also enabled the automation of electronic document management systems interfaces based on the user's individual features, giving the user a unique interactive experience with the system. The studies focused on the advantages offered by technology to the electronic archiving process more than clarifying the challenges and difficulties that it addressed. This paper recommends the necessity of conducting experimental studies or case studies to identify institutions and organizations that have adopted cloud computing technology for electronic document management systems and measure the extent of the impact of this technology on the process of archiving electronic documents and identify the challenges and difficulties they faced and how they were overcome, as well as knowledge of companies that provide cloud services and privileges.
