Tinjauan Filosofis Pragmatisme Jhon Dewey Terhadap Persoalan Prokrastinasi Mahasiswa

Madrasah Tsanawiyah (MTs) plays a vital role in Islamic education, yet it faces challenges related to visibility and competitiveness amid growing public expectations for adaptive and professional educational institutions. This study explores the concrete strategies implemented by MTs Al-Amiriyyah to build its institutional image by integrating Islamic values and modern marketing approaches. We employed a qualitative approach with a case study design. Data were collected through interviews with various informants, including the school principal, teachers, staff, foundation administrators, school treasurer, students, and alumni, as well as through participatory observation and documentation. The data analysis followed the Miles and Huberman model, which includes data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing. The findings indicate that MTs Al-Amiriyyah applies the 7P marketing mix strategy in a contextualized manner, such as through promotion through social media, flagship programs rooted in Islamic values such as tahfiz, language development, and digitalization, as well as transparent and responsive public services. These strategies have successfully enhanced the institution’s image as an adaptive and competitive Islamic educational provider

The primary solution to these issues as identified by Ramli Abdul Wahid, lies in fostering awareness among students, educators, and parents that Indonesia lags behind in the field of education compared to other countries, including neighboring ones. Consequently, there should be a growing determination to address this educational lag.                    Â

Between Flogging and Imprisonment: The Disparity Effect of the Sharia Court's Decision on the Supremacy of the Qanun Jinayat of Aceh
This research aims to map the same cases with different sentencing decisions, determine the causes for the disparities in penalties in those decisions, and elaborate on the reasons for judges in making decisions. Qanun Jinayat of Aceh has designated flogging as the primary punishment for qanun violators. Nonetheless, many Sharia Court judges sentence offenders of sexual crimes to prison. This is empirical legal research with a normative juridical approach and a Sharia approach. Data were collected through interviews and the examination of decision documents. Those data were analyzed using data reduction, data display, and data verification. This research found that the same cases with different decisions include cases of rape, sexual harassment, and accusations of adultery. More prison sentences are imposed by Sharia Court judges in these cases than flogging and fines. The fundamental reason for these differences in decisions is due to the qanun's punishment choices, which are tinted by judges' perspectives in assessing Sharia-based qanun rules. Another factor for this disparity is the community's insistence that cases of rape and sexual harassment be punished by imprisonment or the authority to be remanded to the District Court. Some people argue that flogging has not deterred the perpetrators because, if the judge decides on this sentence, it may be carried out in a short time. Then, the perpetrator immediately returns to society and has an opportunity to repeat his crimes, while the victim is still in a traumatized state
Artificial Intelligence in the Era of Society 5.0: Compromising Technological Innovation Through theWasathiyyah Approach within the Framework of Islamic Law
This research aims to investigate the legality of using ChatGPT in education from the perspective of the Muslim community, focusing on ethics, Islamic law, and Islamic values. Since the emergence of Artificial Intelligence (AI) in the early 2020s, public debates on AI have generated both support and criticism. Western scholars such as Kelly Ann Allen, Joseph A. Crawford, and Ricky Acanto argue that AI significantly contributes to enhancing learning, personalizing instruction, and managing resources. However, concerns have arisen regarding the negative impacts of AI, such as cheating and plagiarism. Islam, as a timelessly relevant religion, offers wise solutions to these issues. This empirical study employs a literature review approach using the Systematic Quantitative Literature Review method to map the dynamics of the AI ChatGPT discussion among scholars. This study adheres to Miles and Huberman’s three stages of data analysis: data display, reduction, and conclusion. The research findings indicate that internalizing the values of Wasathiyyah is crucial for developing a broad perspective on societal acceptance of AI ChatGPTs. Religious moderation emphasizes that Islam does not reject AI, but rather emphasizes the importance of mitigating its negative effects. With proportional policies, AI is expected to collaborate with humans to accelerate civilization forward
Qiwamah's Reconception of Muhammad Shahrur's Thoughts and Their Implications for the Feminist Movement in the World
This research aims to reconceptualize Muhammad Syahrur's views on the meaning of qiwamah. Muhammad Syahrur stated that the person most worthy of being qiwamah in the household is a woman. This view is different from the Jumhur Ulama which states that the leader in the household is a man. Does Shahrur's thoughts support the world feminist movement? This library research was carried out by examining books related to the research problem. Primary data sources are the books Al Kitab Wa Al Qur'an and Nahwa Ushul Jadidah Li Al-Fiqh Al-Islami by Muhammad Syahrur. Secondary data sources were obtained from other fiqh books and journals related to the problems in this paper. Descriptive analysis uses the content analysis method. The results of the research found that Syahrur is of the view that qiwamah can be played by husband or wife, as long as it has stability in the economic sector and the characteristics of qiwamah, namely shalihat, qanitat and hafizat; because these qiwamah qualities were firmly instilled by Allah, as qualities possessed by women, the ones most worthy of being appointed as qiwamah are women; Even though Syahrur only relies on linguistic analysis, and ignores the study of the context of the Asbab al Nuzul verse, resulting in inconsistencies and meanings that seem forced, Shahrur's thoughts seem to have given encouragement to the feminist movement in the world. Muhammad Shahrur's breakthrough feminist thought influenced the thinking of Muslim women in the world. This can be seen from the change in their mindset, who no longer want to simply follow or be controlled by men. Contemporary Islamic thinkers agree to provide leadership to men and women with conditions, but they do not say that women are the main leaders
