Get PDFThe purpose of this study was to examine the effect of work-life balance on employee performance through the mediation of job satisfaction Unit Pelaksana Teknis dan Balai Sidoarjo Dinas Sosial Provinsi Jawa Timur. The object of this research was carried out in one of the Sidoarjo regional government offices. This research was conducted using quantitative methods. The population and sample used are all employees with a total of 81 respondents. Data collection uses a Likert Scale with quantitative data and how to distribute questionnaires offline by using paper sheets to be distributed to respondents/employees. Data analysis in this study fully uses the help of the Smart PLS version 3.0 software program. The results of this study indicate that work-life balance has a significant influence on employee performance. Work-life balance has a significant influence on job satisfaction. Job satisfaction has a positive but not significant effect on employee performance. Job satisfaction is not able to mediate the effect of work-life balance on employee performance

Get PDFFor centuries, fashion has been a visual marker of our gender, and nowadays the term androgynous fashion has arisen. Being outside the binary, individuals in Indonesia dressing in this style often face discrimination due to its strong patriarchal culture. Consequently, Instagram has become a prominent platform for people to express themselves in a more intimate way. Utilizing the case study research method, Jovi Adhiguna Hunter, an androgynous fashion influencer, was chosen as the research object. His self-disclosure through fashion is analyzed using social penetration theory, with an emphasis on his Instagram posts @joviadhiguna from 2019 to June 2023. Previous studies have primarily examined the presence of androgynous individuals on social media and their personal branding. Therefore, this study aims to delve deeper into how Jovi Adhiguna discloses his identity through androgynous fashion. Employing qualitative research and a case study approach within the constructivism paradigm, the study finds that Jovi Adhiguna's Instagram self-disclosure has reached a stable stage.His consistent disclosures are accompanied by captions expressing Jovi Adhiguna Hunter's views on genderless design and are reflected in his choice of outfits, accessories, photo expression, and poses that embrace a feminine aesthetic, which has happened since 2021

Get PDFThe proportion of HIV-positive pregnant women in Indonesia rises annually. Pregnant women’s HIV test results in Indonesia fall a little short of the target for 2022. Knowledge is one of the most important aspects of the prevention of mother-to-child transmission of HIV (PMTCT). The aim of this research is to determine the knowledge among pregnant women in Putat Jaya Community Health Care in Surabaya regarding the transmission of HIV from mothers to their children. Cross-sectional analysis is used in this descriptive study. There are 35 pregnant women who have responded. Mothers enrolled in trimesters 1, 2, and 3 who are getting antenatal care at Putat Jaya Community Health Care in Surabaya meet the inclusion criteria for this study. However, a mother with special needs is the sole requirement for this study. In September 2023, this study was carried out at Putat Jaya Community Health Care in Surabaya. The method for gathering samples is called purposive sampling. According to the findings, 77.1% were sufficiently aware of how to prevent HIV transmission from mother to child, followed by 14.3% who had high knowledge and 8.6% who had a lack of knowledge about the prevention of mother-to-child transmission (PMTCT) of HIV

Get PDFPulmonary tuberculosis is an infectious disease that transmits the lungs caused by Mycobacterium tuberculosa which has a rod-like shape and is acid-resistant, so it is known as BTA (acid-resistant rods) which is the main factor in Pulmonary Tuberculosis. The type of research used is descriptive in the form of case studies with data collection methods by means of interviews and physical examination. The research subjects were two pulmonary tuberculosis patients with nutritional deficit problems at Muhammadiyah Hospital in Palembang. The nursing implementation approach used includes identification of nutritional status: management of oral hygiene and providing diet education. This study was conducted to compare two respondents who had been given implementation for three days where 1 day was implemented 3 times, namely nutrition management, oral hygiene and diet education and was carried out in the morning. The study showed that after three days of implementation the problem of nutritional deficit experienced by weight patients increased by 1 kg, oral hygiene improved, and knowledge increased

Get PDFImmigration is a matter of the movement of people into and out of Indonesian territory which is motivated by several factors such as socio-cultural, political and economic which are the reasons why foreigners migrate. The Immigration Office is under the Directorate General of Immigration and is the responsibility of the Ministry of Law and Human Rights and has the authority to regulate the presence and activities of foreigners while they are in Indonesian territory. Immigration adheres to a selective policy system, which means that only useful and useful foreigners are allowed to enter Indonesian territory and do not disturb the country's sovereignty. International law applies the principle of non-refoulement, namely prohibiting the expulsion or refusal of foreigners to return to their country of origin for certain reasons. This principle aims to protect the human rights of refugees. National interests are not linear with international legal interests. Therefore, refugees cannot be separated from Immigration's responsibility in carrying out supervision and providing enforcement of immigration law. This research uses a normative-empirical research method which refers to the provisions in primary and secondary legal studies. Pengaruh Perceived Value dan E-Service Quality Terhadap Kepuasan Konsumen pada Marketplace Shopee (Studi Kasus di Desa Suka Makmur Dusun II Kecamatan Delitua)
Get PDFThe aim of this research is to determine the effect of perceived value and e-service quality on consumer satisfaction in the Shopee marketplace (case study in Suka Makmur Village, Dusun II, Delitua District) partially and simultaneously. This research is quantitative research, with a population of 1228 people and a sample of 93 respondents using the Slovin formula, simple random sampling technique and data collection through observation and questionnaires. The research results show that perceived value has a positive and significant effect on consumer satisfaction, e-service quality has a positive and significant effect on consumer satisfaction. The results of the F test show that perceived value and e-service quality simultaneously have a positive and significant effect on consumer satisfaction. The R-Square value shows that the coefficient of determination is 0.627 or 62.7% of the consumer satisfaction variable can be explained by the perceived value and e-service quality variables, while the remaining 37.3% is influenced by other variables not included in this research

Get PDFThis study is intended to discuss the phenomenon of asylum seekers and independent refugees, the basis of legal instruments and immigration supervision mechanisms as a form of intervention from the sovereignty of the Indonesian state. The research method used in this study is an empirical normative method to examine legal norms regarding immigration supervision by looking at social problems in the field, namely asylum seekers and independent refugees. Indonesia as a transit country must face the phenomenon of asylum seekers and independent refugees scattered in various parts of Indonesia. To make ends meet, asylum seekers and independent refugees often carry out various activities that are against positive laws in Indonesia. Therefore, Presidential Regulation Number 125 of 2016 concerning the Handling of Refugees From Abroad regulates preventive steps for this problem, namely the implementation of immigration supervision, especially for asylum seekers and refugees who are outside temporary shelters. However, this PPLN Presidential Regulation has not coordinated the immigration supervision function as a whole because it does not regulate the implementation of the field supervision function. In carrying out the Immigration supervision function, immigration officers need to coordinate between ministries, relevant agencies as well as IOM and UNHCR, although these two organizations are less cooperative and transparent in providing information or data on asylum seekers and independent refugees. However, immigration control is also helped by the Jesuit Refugee Service (JRS)

Get PDFThis research is a pre-experiment research with a one class pre test and post test design, in order to have an impact of class education for pregnant women on increasing maternal knowledge in one subject group of pregnant women in the Kotabaru Health Center work area, Riau. The secondary data for this research is data about the number of pregnant women at the Kotabaru Riau health center. The sample was 60 respondents. Data analysis used paired -t-test. The results of this study reveal that there is a correlation between the impact of class education for pregnant women on increasing the knowledge of pregnant women. The conclusion produced in this research is that there is a correlation between the educational impact of the Pregnant Mother Class application on increasing the knowledge of pregnant women in the work area of the Kota Baru Health Center, Riau in 2022

Get PDFThis research aims to interpret the verses on moderation and moderate Islamic education according to Buya Hamka in Tafsir Al-Azhar. This research method uses a library approach and qualitative research type. Through a thematic interpretation approach. The results found about the concepts emphasized by Buya Hamka in his interpretation of moderate verses in the Al-Quran. These concepts include the right to freedom in all aspects of life, including freedom of belief, as well as rationalism in seeking the truth, as expressed in QS Al-Baqarah verse 256. Understanding of piety, social spirit regardless of racial, ethnic or religious differences, and Polite behavior towards neighbors, even non-Muslims, as explained in QS Al-Mumlahanah verse 8, is the main basis in the concept of moderate Islamic education. Apart from that, the concept of moderation verses also teaches the values of getting to know each other, interacting, helping each other, and cross-religious cooperation to advance civilization, in accordance with QS Al-Hujurot verse 13. The concept of having a moderate spirit and prohibiting extremism, as found in QS An-Nisa' verse 171, becomes the basis for forming a balanced character of Muslims
