Full text linkThis research aims to analyze the factors that form the brand image of the Department of Industrial Engineering, UIN Suska Riau and design promotional strategies using the Cochran test and Marketing Mix methods. Data was obtained from 100 respondents through a questionnaire. The research results show that there are significant differences between the attributes tested, with the Q value being greater than the X² table value in all tests. The main factors that shape a brand image include reputation, accreditation, teaching staff, quality of education, and student comfort. 7P-based promotional strategy to improve brand image and attract more students
Analisis Karbon Monoksida (CO) pada Udara Ambien di Pertigaan Y Simpang Rimbo Kota Jambi
Full text linkThis research aims to determine the magnitude of the CO concentration in the ambient air at the Y T-junction Simpang Rimbo, Jambi City using a CO meter. Observations were carried out for 3 days (Sunday, Monday and Tuesday). Sundays and Mondays are held at 2 different times, namely the afternoon and evening. 1 day observation on Tuesday with 4 different times, namely Morning, Afternoon, Afternoon and Night. Each observation time at 1 point is carried out for 60 minutes. The results of the 3 day study showed that the highest CO concentration occurred on Tuesday during the day, namely 279,424.4 ??/??3, the lowest CO concentration occurred on Sunday at night, amounting to 63,426.27 ??/??3. Meanwhile, observations for 1 day on Tuesday showed that the highest CO concentration occurred in the afternoon at 9.0056 ??/??3. The CO concentration was higher when measuring for 3 days, this was due to the influence of time and the reduction in vehicles passing the observation point on Tuesday 6 February 2024

Full text linkThis research deals with the slang language word that used in daily conversation among the students at 5th semester in University of Batanghari Jambi. The aims of the research as the following below: (1) to know about the form of which is used by the students of 4th semester of Batanghari University in their daily conversation; (2) to know about the reason that motivated the students of 4th semester in English department University of Batanghari to use slang language in their daily conversation. The methodology used in this research is a qualitative. The data took by recording and interview of subject of the research. The conclusion of the research is overall, students have a positive perspective towards the use of slang. They see it as a way to express themselves, connect with friends, and stay relevant to cultural trends

Full text linkThe purpose of this analysis is to assess the implementation of the State Civil Apparatus Information System (SCAIS) as well as identify areas that need to be improved in the system to improve its function at the Personnel and Human Resources Development Agency (PHRDA) of Ogan Komering Ulu (OKU) Regency. This research uses a descriptive approach with qualitative data collection. The results of this research conclude that 1) the implementation of the State Civil Apparatus Information System (SCAIS) in Ogan Komering Ulu Regency has been carried out effectively and efficiently, but it still needs to be improved periodically and it is not easy to become complacent in order to realize e-governance; and 2) optimizing the State Civil Apparatus Information System (SCAIS) managed by PHRDA Ogan Komering Ulu (OKU) Regency by maximally inputting data on state civil apparatus employees within the OKU Regency government and socializing it to the Regional Apparatus Organizations (RPO) in OKU so that realizing up-to-date and integrated personnel data

Full text linkThe aim of this research is to determine the effect of slow stroke back massage therapy on changes in blood pressure in hypertensive patients at the Palembang Clinic. The quantitative research method is a quasi-experimental method, with a one group pre test-post test design on a sample of 30 respondents. The research results showed that systolic blood pressure before and after slow stroke back massage therapy showed that there was an effect of slow stroke back massage intervention on blood pressure in hypertension sufferers at the Rizki Medika Clinic in Palembang
Nikah Mut’ah di Iran dan Indonesia antara Regulasi dan Praktek
Full text linkThis research aims to explore the rules and regulations of mut'ah marriage in Iran and Indonesia and analyze the practice in both countries. This research is library research using qualitative methods with a descriptive-analytic approach. The results of this research found that mut'ah marriages are officially regulated in marriage regulations in Iran, specifically in The Civil Code of The Islamic Republic of Iran 2000. These temporary marriages are recognized and equivalent to permanent marriages in general, and stipulate provisions that must be complied with in its implementation. However, in this modern era, the practice of mut'ah marriage in Iran is starting to be abandoned. In contrast to Indonesia, where there are no rules governing contract marriage law, it is not even recognized in regulations in Indonesia. However, in reality, the practice of contract marriage is increasingly common among Indonesian people
Penerapan Cooperative Learning Tipe Think Pair Share untuk Meningkatkan Hasil Belajar dan Keterlibatan Siswa dalam Pembelajaran Matematika
No full textThe Cooperative Learning model of Think Pair Share type to improve learning outcomes and student engagement in learning mathematics at Dharma Mulya Christian High School Surabaya. The subjects of this study were 20 students consisting of 11 female students and 9 male students. This research uses the Kemmis and McTaggart method through 2 cycles. Initial data showed that none of the students' involvement was located at the High level, there was 1 student at the Moderate level, 12 students at the Low level and there were 7 students at the Very Low level. From the written test to determine the learning outcomes of 20 students, only 4 students scored above the KKM, there were 16 students who did not meet the KKM or 80% of students' scores did not meet the specified standards. The final results of Cycle 1 and Cycle 2 for student engagement there was no one in the Very Low category, there were 2 students in the Low category, the Moderate category increased, namely there were 15 students, and the High category had 3 students. Likewise, for student learning outcomes at the end of cycles 1 and 2, 17 students reached the KKM or the percentage reached 85%, so that the research has reached the success indicator. This study found that the application of Cooperative Learning type Think Pair Share can improve learning outcomes and student involvement in learning mathematics

This Animal Marketplace Application prototype was created as a platform where animal sellers and buyers can meet. Typically, animal trading is done offline by visiting the seller's location. However, it is very difficult to find animal sellers due to its complex segmentation. Cloud-based and using a mobile platform, the animal marketplace is designed to connect sellers and buyers from various locations, aiming to facilitate interactions between them. The hope is that this application can help small and medium enterprises (SMEs) in Indonesia
Utilization of Concept Rich Instruction Based Kahoot Application to Improve Mathematical Critical Thinking Skills
Full text linkPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan sebuah e-modul berbasis Concept-Rich Instruction pada mata pelajaran persamaan garis lurus kelas VIII SMP untuk meningkatkan kemampuan berpikir kritis matematis siswa. Penelitian ini menggunkan model penelitian ADDIE yang terdiri atas 5 tahapan yakni Analisis, Desain, Pengembangan, Penerapan, Evaluasi. Instrumen kevalidan berupa angket validasi dari ahli materi dan ahli desain memperoleh nilai presentase validasi ahli sebesar 82,23% validasi desain sebesar 84% dalam kategori valid. Instrumen kepraktisan berupa angket praktikalitas guru dan siswa memperoleh nilai persentase berturut turut 98,88% dan 91,59% yang termasuk kategori sangat praktis. Instrumen keefektifan berupa pre-test dan post-test dengan memperoleh nilai rata rata n-gain sebesar 66,33% dengan tafsran kategori cukup efektif. Selanjutnya angket respon siswa memperoleh hasil 81,16% yang termasuk kategori sangat efektif. Berdasarkan analisis tersebut e-modul layak digunakan untuk meningkatkan kemampuan berpikir kritis matematis siswa

Full text linkThe aim of this study was to determine the effectiveness of providing Kinesio Taping in reducing the scale of lower back pain in third trimester pregnant women. The type of research used is Quasi Experimental (quasi-experiment) with a non-equivalent research design pre and post test control group design. The research population was pregnant women in the third trimester who had an examination in the Cikancung Community Health Center Work Area and felt back pain. The sampling technique in the research used a purposive sampling method and the sample size was 36 people. The instruments used in this research used observation sheets, NRS (Numeric Rating Scale), kinesio tapping. The analysis test used was the Wilcoxon Sign Rank analysis test. The results of the study found that there was a change in lower back pain between pretest (before administering Kinesio) and posttest (after administering Kinesio). This shows that the application of pregnancy exercises has a significant influence in reducing lower back pain in pregnant women
