La enseñanza de la parte especial de Derecho Administrativo en nueve créditos: oportunidades a través de las clases prácticas
Full text linkAt the Faculty of Law of the University of Oviedo, the special part of Administrative Law is taught within a nine-credit course. To this end, during seven of the fourteen weeks of the semester, a second practical class is added. This necessitates alternative approaches to the usual method of independently resolving a case study followed by in-class discussion. This paper outlines the advantages of using those additional hours for in-class reading of doctrinal texts, drafting of administrative and procedural documents, and, finally, attending court hearings. This is done without denying the usefulness of theoretical lectures; on the contrary, it affirms their undeniable value, importance, and primacy.En la Facultad de Derecho de la Universidad de Oviedo se imparte la parte especial de Derecho Administrativo en una asignatura de nueve créditos. Para ello, durante siete de las catorce semanas del cuatrimestre se añade una segunda clase práctica. Esto obliga a buscar fórmulas alternativas a la resolución autónoma de un caso práctico y su posterior corrección en clase. Aquí se exponen las ventajas de utilizar esas horas para la lectura de trabajos doctrinales en el aula, redacción de escritos administrativos y procesales y, finalmente, la asistencia a juicios. Full text linkThe COVID 19 pandemic left the MICE tourism sector with a degree of vulnerability, which at the time was worthy of study, hence various studies emerged regarding resilience to face the adversity of imminent threats. The objective of this article was to analyze the influence of vulnerability on the resilience of MICE tourism to COVID-19. Using a quantitative methodology, a survey was applied to 385 MICE tourism actors in Los Cabos, Baja California, a destination in Mexico that at the time was highly affected in terms of employment and the economy. Partial least squares structural equation modeling (PLS-SEM) was used to test the research hypothesis. The results show that vulnerability has a significant, positive, and moderate influence on resilience, as well as a significant effect on stability, recovery, and transformation. Therefore, resilience is a quality that arises when there is a situation that produces risk, uncertainty, and disruption. It concludes by confirming that resilience allows us to cushion damage, return to the original state and take advantage of opportunities for reconfiguration in the face of any crisis.

El objetivo de este artículo fue analizar la influencia de la vulnerabilidad en la resiliencia del turismo MICE ante el COVID-19. Con el uso de una metodología cuantitativa, se aplicó una encuesta a 385 actores del turismo MICE en Los Cabos, Baja California, destino de México que, en su momento, se vio altamente afectado en cuanto empleo y economía. Se utilizó el modelado de ecuaciones estructurales de mínimos cuadrados parciales (PLS-SEM) con el fin de probar la hipótesis de investigación. Los resultados muestran que la vulnerabilidad tiene una influencia significativa, positiva y moderada sobre la resiliencia, así como un efecto significativo sobre la estabilidad, la recuperación y la transformación. Por tanto, la resiliencia es una cualidad que surge cuando hay una situación que produce riesgo, incertidumbre y disrupción. Se concluye confirmando que la resiliencia permite amortiguar daños, regresar al estado original y aprovechar oportunidades de reconfiguración ante cualquier crisis.

El conflicto trabajo-familia y sus implicaciones en el sector turístico desde una perspectiva de género
Full text linkIn recent years, significant interest has emerged in analyzing the conflict between family and work life, as well as the factors that influence it and its effects. This interest arises with the increase in families in which both members of the central couple are working, which affects the time they spend together, not only with each other, but also with their children and family in general. In line with the above, an investigation was carried out in Guanajuato Capital, specifically in the Tourism Sector, focused on the hotel industry that operates 24 hours a day. A quantitative methodology was used that included questionnaires validated through factor analysis and reliability with Cronbach\u27s alpha that were applied to employees of various hotels in the city, specifically boutique establishments, as well as 4 or 5 star hotels, with a comparative gender analysis with the results obtained, to finally generate strategies that contribute to reducing or negotiating the factors that generate the conflict, analyzing the implications it has on other variables. The research had a correlational scope, seeking to determine the relationship between work-family conflict and the gender of the workers. The data were analyzed with statistical software, revealing that work-family conflict affects men and women equally, regardless of their educational level. However, it was found that the educational level is related to the position held and that the majority of the occupants of the highest position, general management, are men.

Este interés surge con el aumento de familias en las que ambos integrantes de la pareja central se encuentran trabajando, lo que afecta el tiempo de convivencia, no solo entre sí, sino también con sus hijos y familia en general. Con línea en lo anterior, se llevó a cabo una investigación en la ciudad de Guanajuato (México), específicamente en el Sector Turístico, centrada en la industria hotelera que opera las 24 horas del día. Se utilizó una metodología cuantitativa que incluyó cuestionarios validados mediante análisis factorial y confiabilidad con alfa de Cronbach que fueron aplicados a colaboradores de diversos hoteles de la ciudad, específicamente establecimientos boutique, así como hoteles de 4 o 5 estrellas, haciendo un análisis comparativo de género con los resultados obtenidos, para finalmente, generar estrategias que contribuyan a disminuir o negociar los factores que generan el conflicto analizando las implicaciones que tiene en otras variables. La investigación tuvo un alcance correlacional, buscando determinar la relación del conflicto trabajo-familia con el género de los trabajadores. Los datos fueron analizados con un software estadístico, revelando que el conflicto trabajo familia afecta por igual en hombres y mujeres, independientemente de su nivel educativo. Sin embargo, se encontró que el nivel educativo está relacionado con el puesto desempeñado y que la mayoría de los ocupantes del puesto más alto, la gerencia general, son hombres.

Strategies aimed at a more effective incorporation of AI in higher education will be analyzed, with the purpose of promoting the acquisition of relevant skills and tools. In this work, the inherent challenges of this process will be identified and the opportunities that this technology offers in the context of university education will be examined.Resumen: Este artículo se centra en la integración de la Inteligencia Artificial Generativa (IAG) en la enseñanza de la literatura hispánica en el ámbito universitario, explorando tanto su aplicación académica como su impacto en la interacción entre profesor y estudiante. Se identificarán los desafíos inherentes a este proceso y se examinarán las oportunidades que esta tecnología ofrece en el contexto de la educación universitaria.

Didactic voice-over in Secondary Education to develop integrated language skills and raise ecological awareness: A case study with pre-service teachers

In order to provide students with a quality education, teacher training is of paramount importance. Effective teacher training ensures that educators are well-equipped with the latest pedagogical strategies, technological tools, and interdisciplinary approaches necessary for fostering a dynamic and engaging learning environment. Furthermore, in view of the United Nations’ Agenda 2030 (2015), the efforts of teachers increasingly focus on promoting sustainability awareness. This holistic approach not only enhances the educational experience but also aligns with broader societal goals, making language education a powerful tool for positive change
This paper will present a case study with 14 pre-service secondary school teachers of English as a Foreign Language (EFL) in Spain. The purpose is to investigate whether pre-service teachers see feasible to implement Didactic Audiovisual Translation (DAT), particularly didactic voice-over, in the EFL classroom, and whether it can enhance integrated language skills and promote ecological awareness. The participants were initially introduced to DAT and its practical application within the recently research-led TRADILEX platform (Fernández-Costales, Talaván and Tinedo-Rodríguez 2023). Subsequently, participants were required to carry out a didactic voice-over lesson plan (LP) about the European-funded project Speak4Nature-Interdisciplinary Approaches on Ecological Justice. After submitting the 60-minute voice-over LP, created in accordance with the TRADILEX methodology (Talaván; Lertola 2022), participants were required to develop a second LP of the same duration, utilising the same video as a foundation and tailored to the specific needs of their target learners. In order to triangulate the data, participants’ opinions were gathered via a feedback questionnaire, an observation rubric completed by the two teacher-researchers, and a focus group involving five participants. The analysis yields encouraging findings, since pre-service EFL teachers perceived the integration of DAT in secondary education as potentially advantageous for fostering the development of integrated language skill and ecological awareness.

La divinatio en el texto de Garcilaso
No full textThe divinatio is a part of emendatio that has been practiced by philologists from Alexandria to the present day, with very uneven results, which could be summarized by the titleof this monograph. In my case, I use the poetry of Garcilaso to illustrate these two very different aspects of divinatio, using only two examples, which are sufficient: one taken from a verse of Elegy I and the other from Eclogue I. In the first example, following the steps outlined by Richard Bentley, I proceed with the emendation ope ingenii of a verse that the first edition had published incomplete, with a gap of a few words within it. In the second example, however, I believe that the reading copied in the Lastanaso-Gayangos manuscript is correct and that, therefore, the divinationes proposed by other scholars of Garcilaso are unnecessary.La divinatio es una parte de la emendatio que ha sido practicada por filólogos, desde Alejandría hasta la actualidad, con resultados muy desiguales, que podrían resumirse con el titulo de este monográfico. En mi caso utilizo la poesía de Garcilaso para ilustrar esas dos caras tan diferentes de la divinatio, solo con dos ejemplos, los suficientes, uno tomado de un verso de la elegía I y el otro de la égloga I. En el primero de ellos, siguiendo los pasos marcados al respecto por Ricard Bentley, procedo a la enmienda ope ingenii de un verso que la edición príncipe había editado incompleto, con una laguna de unas cuantas palabras en su interior. En el segundo, en cambio, considero que la lectura copiada en el manuscrito Lastanaso-Gayangos es la correcta y que, por tanto, son innecesarias las divinationes propuestas por otros estudiosos de Garcilaso
