Digitalization of Ukraine's economy: tools for development and directions for enhancing enterprise resilience under war conditions
No full textУ статті розглянуто роль діджиталізації економіки як одного з ключових чинників розвитку українських підприємств у період воєнних викликів і трансформацій. Показано, що цифровізація виступає не лише інструментом адаптації бізнесу до кризових умов, а й важливим напрямом підвищення його стійкості, інноваційності та конкурентоспроможності. Визначено основні напрями цифрової трансформації підприємств: автоматизацію внутрішніх бізнес-процесів, розвиток електронної комерції, впровадження хмарних технологій, аналітики великих даних, цифрових платіжних систем і онлайн-сервісів для клієнтів. На прикладах українських компаній реального сектору економіки — «Нова пошта», «Метінвест», «Кернел» та «Укрнафта» — проаналізовано практичні результати впровадження цифрових інструментів у виробничу, логістичну та управлінську діяльність. Показано, що завдяки цифровим рішенням зазначені компанії змогли забезпечити безперервність операцій, оптимізувати витрати, підвищити якість сервісу та зберегти робочі місця навіть в умовах воєнного стану. Окрему увагу приділено аналізу бар’єрів цифровізації, серед яких — недостатній рівень цифрових компетенцій працівників, обмежений доступ до високошвидкісного інтернету у прифронтових регіонах, значні фінансові витрати на впровадження інновацій, а також ризики, пов’язані з кібербезпекою. Узагальнено ключові напрями державної підтримки цифрової трансформації бізнесу, зокрема програми «Дія.Бізнес» і «єРобота». Запропоновано практичні рекомендації щодо активізації процесів цифровізації підприємств у повоєнний період, що передбачають розвиток цифрових навичок персоналу, розширення партнерств між державою та приватним сектором, а також формування сталої цифрової екосистеми на національному рівні. Результати дослідження можуть бути використані для розроблення стратегій цифрового розвитку підприємств, програм інноваційної модернізації та економічного відновлення України.The article examines the role of digitalization of the economy as one of the key factors in the development of Ukrainian enterprises during wartime challenges and transformations. It is shown that digitalization serves not only as a tool for business adaptation to crisis conditions but also as an important driver of resilience, innovation, and competitiveness. The main directions of business digital transformation are identified, including the automation of internal processes, the development of e-commerce, the implementation of cloud technologies, big data analytics, digital payment systems, and online customer services. Using the examples of Ukrainian real-sector companies such as Nova Poshta, Metinvest, Kernel, and Ukrnafta, the study analyzes practical results of implementing digital tools in production, logistics, and management activities. It is demonstrated that through digital solutions, these companies were able to ensure operational continuity, optimize costs, improve service quality, and maintain employment even under martial law. Special attention is given to analyzing the barriers to digitalization, including insufficient digital competencies among employees, limited access to high-speed internet in frontline regions, significant costs of innovation implementation, and cybersecurity risks. The article also summarizes the main directions of state support for business digital transformation, in particular the government programs “Diia.Business” and “eRobota.” Practical recommendations are proposed to enhance the digitalization of enterprises in the post-war period. They include the development of employees’ digital skills, expansion of public-private partnerships, and formation of a sustainable national digital ecosystem. The results of the study can be used to develop enterprise digital development strategies, innovation modernization programs, and Ukraine’s overall economic recovery initiatives
