The Effectiveness of Identifying Residential Housing using Image Recognition by Artificial Intelligence
Residential housing identification based on satellite imagery has become an important approach in supporting urban planning, disaster management, and regional mapping. This study evaluates the effectiveness of settlement recognition techniques using high-resolution imagery and artificial intelligence (AI) models, specifically deep learning methods based on convolutional neural networks (CNN) and object segmentation. The main factors that affect identification accuracy include image spatial resolution, preprocessing quality, training data diversity, and the geographic complexity of the observed area. Based on the analysis results, the use of high-resolution imagery combined with image recognition by AI such as Google Gemini and ChatGPT can produce an accuracy of 68.4% in calculating the number of buildings. This value tends to be low to achieve a high level of accuracy in calculating the number of buildings therefore it is not recommended to calculate the number of buildings accurately, but it can be used to determine housing availability in a range of values. However, to analyze building density, AI can successfully generate complex images of building density according to the conditions of the given image. AI can be used to aid urban planning while emphasizing the importance of selecting data sources, careful preprocessing techniques, and adaptive machine learning models to improve the effectiveness of settlement recognition, especially in areas with complex spatial structures in the fields of regional and urban planning and disaster management

Spatial Analysis for Habitat Estimation of the Sumatran Chestnut-necklaced Partridge Tropicoperdix charltonii atjenensis (Galliformes: Phasianidae) in Aceh, Sumatra, Indonesia
The Sumatran Chestnut-necklaced Partridge Tropicoperdix charltonii atjenensis is a subspecies endemic to the lowland forests of Aceh and Lampung, Sumatra. This study used the Analytical Hierarchy Process (AHP) to identify suitable habitats for this subspecies, considering environmental variables such as elevation, tree cover, slope, distance to water sources, and anthropogenic factors. Data collection and spatial analysis were conducted from July 22 to August 23, 2023. The AHP analysis revealed that T. c. atjenensis is typically found in lowland habitats with specific characteristics: average elevation of 130 meters, proximity to water sources, and very dense forest cover (93%). Additionally, suitable habitats tend to be far from road access (average distance of 1.7 km) and residential settlements (average distance of 5.3 km). The resulting distribution map highlights the importance of well-preserved, forested areas as primary habitats for this subspecies
Notes on Humans as Prey of Reticulated Pythons Malayopython reticulatus (Serpentes: Pythonidae) in Indonesia
This study examines documented cases of humans being preyed upon or attempted to be preyed upon by Reticulated Pythons Malayopython reticulatus in Indonesia, spanning nearly a century from 1927 to 2025. Our study reveals 17 incidents, with snakes involved measuring between 5-8 meters in length. The victims' ages ranged from 13 to 90 years old, with 13 fatalities reported. Both males and females were affected, with 8 incidents involving men and 8 involving women. Sulawesi emerges as a hotspot for such encounters, accounting for a significant proportion of reported cases. This study highlights the importance of understanding human-python encounters and promoting a more harmonious coexistence between humans and wildlife in Indonesia.

MODEL PERCEPTRON UNTUK KLASIFIKASI KEPUASAN MAHASISWA TERHADAP ASISTEN LABORATORIUM KOMPUTER
Currently, student speculation on the performance of laboratory assistants varies greatly because there is no definitive data on their performance. Some students think that laboratory assistants do not do their job or speculate otherwise. The purpose of this study is to use a machine learning approach based on the Perceptron model to examine the level of student satisfaction with the services of computer laboratory assistants. Due to its effectiveness in binary classification, the Perceptron model was chosen. Using a questionnaire with two answer categories - “Yes” for satisfied and “No” for dissatisfied - 67 students at UIN SU's Computer Science Study Program provided survey results. Afterwards, the data underwent pre-processing steps such as normalization, numerical coding, and separation into training (80%) and testing (20%) data. Based on the training results, the Perceptron model consistently achieved 86% accuracy in both classes in terms of precision, recall, and F1-score. The strong performance of the model in identifying students' happiness and dissatisfaction is shown by the Confusion Matrix ranking. Both precision and recall were 88% for the “Dissatisfied” class and 83% for the “Satisfied” class. This shows that even with an unequal number of samples across classes, the model can effectively identify patterns in the data. The consistent performance of the model proves the effectiveness of this method in assessing the quality of laboratory assistant services. To improve learning in the laboratory, this research significantly advances the development of machine learning applications. Testing on larger and more varied datasets is recommended for additional validation to ensure the generalizability of the model
Sistem Informasi Medis Untuk Meningkatkan Akses Masyarakat Di Puskesmas BPR Ranau Tengah
The Buay Pematang Ribu (BPR) Ranau Tengah Community Health Center is a government-owned health facility located on H. Rusdi Abili Street, Simpang Sender Village, Buay Pematang Ribu District, Ogan Komering Ulu Selatan Regency. It routinely serves the public from Monday to Friday, with an average of 20-30 visitors served daily, which leads to overwhelming workloads and relatively slow service. In terms of data management, ranging from patient examination records, medical record management, everything is still unstructured and managed manually in notebooks. As a result, data management processes such as searching for information and generating reports are inconsistent and inaccurate. For the public, there is no direct access to health service information. The community also cannot contact health center staff directly because the BPR Ranau Tengah Community Health Center lacks communication channels, such as a website or social media. Therefore, the development of a medical information system is needed to address these issues, both in terms of improving staff efficiency in managing medical records and examinations, as well as facilitating the public’s access to health service information online. The implementation of such a system would enable easier interaction between the public and the health center, improve the quality of health services that are quickly and timely accessible, and simplify the management of patient examination data and medical records
