Status of the Northern Pintail Anas acuta (Anseriformes: Anatidae) in Sumatra
Get PDFThe Northern Pintail Anas acuta is a migratory waterfowl species that passes through Indonesia during its annual migration. This study reports on the presence of A. acuta in northern Sumatra, Indonesia, based on recent observations and historical records. Our results show that there are four records of A. acuta in Sumatra, with three records in 2012 and 2020, from Percut, North Sumatra. The consistency of records from this location suggests that it may provide suitable habitat for the species. The presence of A. acuta in Sumatra is a rare but regular visitor.

Tantangan Etika dan Tanggung Jawab Robotics Engineer Dalam Pengembangan Robot Barista Berbasis IoT
Get PDFOver the past few decades, technology has advanced at a tremendous pace, especially related to social robotics based on the Internet of Things has significantly influenced many aspects of human life. A concrete example of its application is a robot barista designed to interact and collaborate with humans, creating a new relationship between humans and machines. However, the presence of these robots also poses ethical challenges and professional responsibilities, especially regarding data privacy, security, and social impact. This research seeks to determine and assess the primary challenges robotics engineers face in designing safe and ethical robotics systems. Through a literature study approach that includes collecting, reviewing, and analyzing various relevant scientific sources related to ethical issues in robotics and IoT technology, it was found that robotics engineers must consider aspects of security and personal data protection as well as potential social impacts such as inequality and employment reduction. This research emphasizes the importance of ethics education and the establishment of high professional standards in addition to the need for clear ethical guidelines through cross-sector collaboration. Thus, the development of IoT-based barista robots is expected to not only drive technological progress, but also bring sustainable and responsible benefits to society

Get PDFIn today's digital era, content creators and Storytelling play a crucial role in building and strengthening brands. Content creators enhance trust and brand reach, while Storytelling creates emotional connections and reinforces brand identity. This study aims to analyze the integrative influence of content creators and digital Storytelling strategies on the enhancement of brand image for local cosmetics, particularly the Somethinc brand, in the Jabodetabek area. Using quantitative and qualitative methods, this research examines how strategic collaboration between content creators and digital narratives can strengthen brand perception in the eyes of consumers. Data were collected through surveys and in-depth interviews with consumers and industry players. The results indicate that the integration of content creators and digital Storytelling significantly impacts brand image enhancement. Engaging content and resonant narratives can build strong emotional connections with consumers, thereby enhancing brand image. This study provides valuable insights for local cosmetic brands in designing more effective and resonant digital marketing campaigns. The theoretical contributions of this research are significant for the digital marketing literature and are relevant for practitioners in the cosmetics industry looking to strengthen brand image through digital strategies
Desain Karakter Pada Penciptaan Buku Golden Tiket Petualangan Kereta Api
Get PDFThe train adventure presented is about an adventure carried out by a child packaged in a fantasy story. This study aims to develop character designs in illustrated train travel books that utilize augmented reality (AR) technology for children aged 6-12 years. The research method involves analyzing literature related to character design, children's illustrations, and the application of augmented reality in interactive media. Data collection was carried out through literature studies, interviews with illustrators and children's book experts, and surveys of parents and children. The results of this study are the characters that will be used in illustrated books that combine short stories and the use of augmented reality. Character designs are created digitally with a cartoon drawing style, paying attention to the principles of illustration and the characteristics of the target readers. The implementation of augmented reality allows readers to interact directly with the book via a smartphone or tablet, displaying simple animations that bring the characters and tourist attractions in the story to life. The results of this study show the importance of character design that is appropriate to the target audience so that it can attract the attention of readers before seeing the entire contents of the illustrated book

No full textInfused water sangatlah bermanfaat dalam mempromosikan gaya hidup sehat di masyarakat. Dengan mencampurkan berbagai buah-buahan, sayuran, atau rempah-rempah ke dalam air, infused water tidak hanya memberikan sensasi kesegaran tetapi juga menyediakan nutrisi penting. Banyak masyarakat suka mengkonsumsi minuman cepat saji seperti minuman bersoda, karena kemudahan dan ketersediaannya di berbagai tempat. Sebagai respons terhadap kesadaran akan pentingnya pola makan sehat, perancang di sini mengambil langkah untuk mengkampanyekan infused water. Mulai dari menjelaskan pengertian infused water, yaitu praktik merendam buah dalam air untuk memberikan rasa dan aroma pada minuman. Selanjutnya, perancang juga menjelaskan manfaat dari infused water, seperti meningkatkan hidrasi tubuh, membersihkan racun, dan memberikan antioksidan. Tujuan dari kampanye ini adalah agar masyarakat memahami bahwa infused water bukan hanya menyegarkan, tetapi juga bermanfaat bagi kesehatan. Dengan pemahaman yang lebih baik tentang infused water, diharapkan masyarakat akan lebih cenderung menjadikannya sebagai alternatif minuman sehat dalam kehidupan sehari-hari. Media-media komunikasi yang ada masih sangat kurang untuk menjelaskan, serta tampilan visual yang kurang menarik dari segi isi konten. Maka diperlukan sebuah media yang dapat menyampaikan isi pesan secara tepat agar target sasaran dapat tertarik dan mulai mengkonsumsi infused water dikehidupan sehari-hari. Dengan adanya perancangan komunikasi visual kampanye infused water sebagai alternatif minuman kesehatan bagi masyarakat di kota Palembang ini diharapkan masyarakat dapat menjadikannya sebagai alternatif minuman sehat dalam kehidupan sehari-hari
Analisis Aplikasi Lembur Berbasis Web menggunakan System Usability Scale (SUS) Pada PT. XYZ
Get PDFIn the digital era, efficient data management is crucial for companies as Information Technology facilitates staff tasks and operations. However, some companies still face challenges with manual data management, such as time-consuming and paper-based overtime request forms. PT XYZ still uses manual overtime forms and requires a more efficient system. Therefore, a Web-Based Overtime Application was developed using Laravel, PHP, and MySQL to streamline the entry and storage of employee data and overtime hours. The Waterfall method was used in the design process, encompassing requirements analysis, system design, implementation, testing, and maintenance, with data collected through interviews and observations. The research results indicate that this application improves company operations by automating the overtime request and approval process, and by facilitating the management and access to overtime data. Based on an average SUS score of 82, user acceptance falls within the "ACCEPTABLE" and "GOOD" categories. This research successfully produced a web-based overtime application at PT XYZ that meets user needs and enhances the efficiency and effectiveness of overtime management
The Impact Of Motivation, Compensation And Organizational Culture of The IGM Foundation on Increasing The Performance of Study Program on The STEBIS IGM
Get PDFA company's organizational effectiveness is a crucial factor in determining how sustainable the company will be in the future. This article's goal is to clarify how corporate culture, pay, and motivation relate to the success of study programs at the Indo Global Mandiri Campus. The whole academic community of the Indo Global Mandiri School of Sharia Business Economics Study Program (STEBIS IGM) as well as the leadership of the Indo Global Mandiri Foundation management body made up the 50 respondents in the research sample. Using the IBM SPSS 25 statistical test, the survey approach manages quantitative data. The study's findings indicate that: Performance and motivation variables have a weak and negative association, suggesting that motivation components are less. The implications show that the factor of increasing compensation for employees will be able to have an influence on improving existing performance even though it will not have much of an impact on what is expected by the organization; Organizational culture variables have a positive and significant relationship to the performance of the STEBIS Indo Global Mandiri Study Program

Di Kota Serang, stunting tetap menjadi masalah krusial yang memerlukan pendekatan lintas sektor. Program “Endog Kepiting” diperkenalkan sebagai intervensi spesifik untuk meningkatkan asupan gizi anak melalui pengumpulan dan distribusi telur oleh ASN kepada keluarga berisiko. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif yang bertujuan untuk menganalisis implementasi program ini dan dampaknya dalam menurunkan angka stunting di Kota Serang. Dengan pendekatan deskriptif kualitatif, penelitian melibatkan wawancara dan observasi dengan ASN, keluarga penerima manfaat, dan tenaga kesehatan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa program ini berdampak positif terhadap status gizi anak dan meningkatkan kesadaran masyarakat. Namun, tantangan logistik dan administratif masih ditemukan yang memengaruhi efisiensi program.Rekomendasi meliputi penguatan sistem monitoring dan evaluasi serta kemitraan untuk mengatasi kendala logistik di wilayah terpencil. “Endog Kepiting” menunjukkan potensi pendekatan berbasis komunitas untuk menangani stunting secara berkelanjutan
Pola Peminjaman Buku di Perpustakaan Daerah: Pendekatan Algoritma Apriori
Get PDFPenelitian ini mengkaji pola peminjaman buku di Perpustakaan Daerah untuk mengoptimalkan pengelolaan koleksi melalui pengetahuan berbasis data. Dengan menggunakan data transaksi dari Perpustakaan Daerah Sumatera Selatan, penelitian ini menerapkan algoritma Apriori untuk mengidentifikasi aturan asosiasi antar buku yang dipinjam. Hasilnya menunjukkan asosiasi signifikan, seperti buku tentang implementasi basis data yang sering dipinjam bersama dengan buku tentang integrasi basis data dengan web, dengan tingkat kepercayaan sebesar 87%. Pengetahuan baru ini memungkinkan pustakawan untuk menyelaraskan alokasi anggaran tahunan dengan preferensi pengguna, memastikan relevansi dan efisiensi pemanfaatan koleksi perpustakaan. Selain itu, penelitian ini menegaskan efektivitas algoritma Apriori dalam menggali pola yang bermakna dari data transaksi, menawarkan kerangka strategis untuk optimalisasi sumber daya. Tantangan seperti penanganan data yang tidak lengkap dan adaptasi terhadap perubahan preferensi pengguna menekankan pentingnya mengintegrasikan temuan algoritmik dengan umpan balik berkelanjutan dari pemangku kepentingan. Penelitian ini memberikan pendekatan praktis untuk meningkatkan layanan perpustakaan daerah dengan menyesuaikan pengadaan buku sesuai kebutuhan masyarakat

Teknologi informasi memainkan peran penting di institusi pendidikan tinggi karena pertumbuhan yang pesat serta banyaknya jumlah mahasiswa dan dosen. Universitas Serelo Lahat, yang dikenal dengan penekanannya pada sains dan teknologi, berperan penting dalam membantu berbagai tugas administratif dan pembelajaran di lingkungan akademik. Namun, kesulitan dalam mempertahankan dan melestarikan infrastruktur ini memerlukan strategi yang proaktif. ITSM diperlukan untuk memastikan bahwa layanan yang ditawarkan kepada klien sesuai dengan ekspektasi bisnis. Tingkat kematangan layanan TI harus diukur untuk menilai kualitas layanan yang diberikan. ITIL adalah salah satu kerangka kerja yang cocok untuk bidang pendidikan. Dengan penekanan pada peningkatan kualitas layanan TI dalam hal nilai bisnis dan pelanggan, ITIL menawarkan kerangka kerja untuk mengelola dan mengontrol layanan TI. Diharapkan adanya penelitian lebih lanjut tentang penilaian kinerja dan keandalan infrastruktur jaringan kampus.
