Teaching resources in the production of writing of the English Language in deaf students
The research was related to the didactic resources in the production of writing in the deaf students of 1st-year high school of the Private Educational Unit "El Oasis". Its objective was to determine the teaching resources to improve the writing production of the English language in deaf students. For information purposes, the research had a qualitative approach with the purpose of generating information based on the narratives obtained during the implementation of an interview with the English subject teacher and the student's representative. The results presented show that the use of teaching resources positively influences the development of English language skills, especially writing skills, especially when it comes to students with different degrees of hearing impairment, where this is the only means of communication due to because teachers do not know sign language. On the other hand, it was determined that the student with hearing disabilities learns English much faster than other subjects because she likes and watches many movies titled in English and relates the vocabulary, she learned in class with what she reads in the movies.
Monitoring system for a self-consumption photovoltaic system
Climatic conditions and temperature levels often affect the infrastructure of photovoltaic systems, causing the scheduled generation to not be as expected. The objective was to design a monitoring system for an experimental 3.4 kWp photovoltaic plant that is located on the terrace of building 1 of the Faculty of Engineering and Applied Sciences of the Technical University of Manabí. An automation process was developed to optimize the performance of the installation, using an innovative perspective, the study determinedly faces the initial challenges associated with the software previously used for the design of a data storage system when incorporated into the institutional geoportal. The successful implementation of the Oxley Solar mobile application and, consequently, of the PZM-0043 module, emerges as a comprehensive solution that ensures the continuity of monitoring and contributes significantly to improving the efficiency of the photovoltaic system. The Oxley Solar app overcomes previous limitations by enabling efficient data extraction via Bluetooth and subsequent transmission via Wi-Fi, facilitating more effective storage. The result was the introduction of the PZM-0043 module that adds a layer of automation to the system, guaranteeing continuous data transmission to the database to be stored in the geoportal
Impact of virtual environments on learning binary inorganic compounds
The purpose of the research was to determine the effectiveness of virtual environments in learning binary inorganic compounds at the BGU level of the “San Isidro” Educational Unit. For this purpose, the research had a quantitative approach. Data collection was carried out through knowledge tests on the students (control and experimental group). The results obtained showed that at the control group level a mean of 3.86 was calculated, showing a standard deviation of 1.509 and a mean standard error of 0.302. On the other hand, the calculation showed that, for the experimental group, a mean of 4.46, a standard deviation of 1.576 and a mean standard error of 0.384 were calculated, which indicated that there was no significant difference between both groups when evaluating their knowledge Finally, as a conclusion, the importance of incorporating the “Virtual Quimi Project” project into the teaching activity, whose fundamental purpose is to introduce virtual environments oriented to the learning of binary inorganic compounds. In this sense, the main contribution that the research offers is to ensure that the teaching-learning process of this subject is more affective and effective for the teacher
Didactic strategies for teaching literacy in basic elementary
Literacy is considered the ability to read and write, or rather it is the teaching and learning of reading along with writing. These basic skills allow them to understand and communicate adequately both in writing and orally. The main objective of the research is to identify the didactic strategies for teaching reading and writing in the "8 de Noviembre" school in Canton Junín. This shows that its main problem is the lack of application of teaching strategies in the development of reading and writing in The Elementary Sublevel, for the application of theoretical systematization, allowed this research to support the main authors who will provide theoretical and scientific support to this study, it was based on the methodology of descriptive and explorative studies, with a quantitative approach, bibliographical and field, the scientific method and techniques such as observation, interview and survey were used with a population of 90 students and 5 teachers, with a probabilistic sample per stratum, that is 50students and 5 elementary school teachers, having as conclusions that reading and writing are very important skills at the Elementary sublevel and it is necessary for teachers to look for alternatives and adapt innovative strategies to promote these skills effectively
Playful strategies in teaching and learning probabilities in elementary school
Basic education in Ecuador has undergone various changes, becoming one of the main challenges to identify playful strategies that strengthen teaching, mainly about probabilities. The objective was to promote the application of recreational games as a teaching strategy, to improve the learning of probabilities in the applied statistics course in 7th-year basic students of the Fiscomisional Educational Unit "Cinco de Mayo". The research is of a quasi-experimental, applied, and quantitative type, where 84 students of year 7 “A” and “B” collaborated, to whom a knowledge test about probabilities was applied in two different groups, where in the middle of these evaluations only The first group benefited from the recreational games. Thus, significant disparities were found between the two groups. The result was that the application of games as a recreational strategy improves the learning of probabilities, as well as their dimensions
