Preventive maintenance of taper bearing using Arduino in the application of industry 4.0
Get PDFThe maintenance of industrial tools is very important to support production. Therefore, many companies apply preventive maintenance. A national industrialization agenda discussed that it is crucial especially in the manufacturing industry. The battery-powered IoT sensing device is capable of thorough monitoring of industrial machinery enabling the development of sophisticated predictive maintenance applications under set scenarios. In this paper, we applied the concept of the Internet of Thing (IoT) system using LabVIEW via Arduino. The research method used in this study was similar to Susanto et al. (2019) namely Frequency Response Function (FRF) test to investigate the dynamic characteristics of a mechanic structure to identifying damages on X, Y, and Z axes of tapered bearing using harmonic vibration from handphones. Results of FRF and Labview via Ardunio were then compared to identify the results of measurement using LabView via Arduino. It was found much noise in the measurement occupying Labview Via Ardunio because its system does not use a filter like the one in FFT Analyser. However, in general, LabVIEW via Ardunia can predict damages in taper bearing. It is because, under broken condition, there was a two-time movement of natural frequencies from good condition
Role of the professor in times of COVID-19
Get PDFThis scientific article argues how confinement due to the health crisis of COVID-19 has changed the modality of classes, showing that teachers have not been prepared for this change so suddenly. In this way, they do not know what an online class is and the benefits provided by the implementation of various technologies in the role of the teacher who is focused on the well-being of the student, both emotionally and academically. The methodology that was implemented was documentary research considering reliable and current scientific sources. The approach used was the qualitative one for the synthesis of the information. The development of the text has a deductive approach, allowing from the general to the specific. The results show the resolution of the hypothesis raised about the role of the teacher in online classes due to the pandemic. It is concluded that, if the role in class is not changed, the learning process of the students will be difficult, generating a tense class environment
Effect of substrate size and stirring on the effectiveness of fermentation of organic waste using composter cash
Get PDFBased on studies and research conducted by several researchers, it was found that the parameters that affect the effectiveness of waste fermentation include stirring and chopping the substrate in addition to temperature conditioning, the type and intensity of adding bio activators, and the type of organic waste (substrate). This study aims to produce an innovative composter barrel product that has the function of stirring and chopping in one compact tool. Tool testing is directed at liquid fertilizer products that are produced with an approach to the appropriate type of test. The results of the research that have been done show that the variation of counting does not have a significant effect on the quality of the liquid fertilizer, while stirring is very influential. For this reason, the innovative composter vat is recommended to add a stirring component while chopping is not required
Market reaction before and after stipulation of presidential regulation point 55 in 2019
Get PDFThe purpose of this study is to examine the capital market reaction to the adoption of Perpres no. 55 2019 with abnormal return and trading volume activity as indicators. This study uses 10 companies listed in the automotive subsector and components in the Indonesia stock exchange in the period of 5 days before and after the adoption of Presidential Decree No. 55 of 2019. The analysis technique used in this study is the Wilcoxone Signed Rank Test and the Paried Sample t-test test. Wilcoxone Signed Rank Test results prove that there are differences in the average negative abnormal return before and after the stipulation of Presidential Regulation no. 55 2019 based on the results of these tests it can be concluded that investors consider the information as bad news (bad news). Paried Test Results in The t-test sample proves that there is no difference in the average trading volume activity before and after the stipulation of Presidential Regulation no. 555 in 2019 based on these tests it was concluded that it did not trigger stock movements in the capital market that affect the supply and demand of existing shares in the automotive and component sub sector shares

Get PDFImproving community welfare is one of the main objectives of a development process in all countries, including Indonesia. Small and Medium Industries (IKM) have contributed significantly to the development of the Indonesian economy through the export, trade, and supporting employment growth sectors. The purpose of this study is to determine the effect of the quality of human resources, information and communication technology and mounting product requirements on product performance (a study of SMEs in the City of Denpasar). This research method uses a quantitative approach that is analyzed using structural equation analysis (SEM) PLS with a sample of 126 business operators in the city of Denpasar. The results of this study are the quality of human resources, information and communication technology and mounting product requirements have a positive and significant effect on product performance. Product performance of 55.5 percent is influenced by variables in the study. Suggestions for further research are that researchers can then add other variables related to product quality outside of this study such as money, markets, and more specific materials, this is because there is still 44.5 percent of other factors outside this research that affect product performance

Get PDFThe act of deciding is considered one of the current research problems of Sports Psychology. It is important to know what athletes think, how they analyze game situations and how they make decisions during vital moments of obtaining a satisfactory sporting result. The decision-making guarantees, then, the rapid adaptation of the athlete to emergent situations of training and competition. Badminton as a sport of high strategy demands in those who practice it, perceptual, decisive and execution skills. From a descriptive study, having as sample six badmintonists from Santiago, it is intended to characterize the level of development reached by the latter in decision making. Techniques such as the memory stimulation interview, coach interviews and the game performance evaluation instrument (GPAI) are used as an observation protocol. The present characterization shows that in training and competition, badmintonists present difficulties in the perceptual-cognitive, decisive and executive indicators of the decision process. They also reveal the technical-methodological limitations of the coach in the development of the said process in his athletes
Motivation on job satisfaction and employee performance
Get PDFThis study aims to study the effect of motivation on job satisfaction and employee performance. The population in this study was 505 Cooperativa Café Timor employees in Timor-Leste by determining saturated samples at 6 company locations, namely the NT Factory, Comoro, Manleuana, Railaco, Tibar, and at the Head Office as many as 202. This study used a quantitative approach with data collection methods using interviews and questionnaires. Data that has been collected and verified valid are analyzed using descriptive analysis techniques and using a variance-based or component-based approach with Partial Least Square (PLS) analysis tools. The results show that motivation has a significant positive effect on job satisfaction and employee performance. The findings of this study also state that job satisfaction has a significant positive effect on employee performance. The implications of this study emphasize the need to improve adaptive performance so that companies can always keep abreast of developments in the face of increasingly fierce competition

Get PDFThis study aims to determine the factors that are considered in consuming bakery products and changes in different generation's behavior. This research uses a descriptive qualitative approach. Data collection techniques using observation, interviews, and documentation. Check the validity of the data using source triangulation. The results showed that shopping behavior and methods were different for each generation. Each generation has its characteristics or characteristics in determining purchasing decisions. These characteristics are influenced by their lifestyle and mindset along with the times. Generation Y and Z have far differences from previous generations, not a problem with age differences but more on the way they perceive the world, mindset, self-concept, attitudes, and behavior. This is influenced by the presence of technology when this generation begins to enter adolescence and adulthood. Information technology has become an essential part of their lives and difficult to release in their lives. The results showed that the factors considered in consuming are price, brand image, choice of product variants, convenience, and service factors

Get PDFEthical decision is a decision that is both legally and morally that can be accepted by the wider community. The importance of ethical decisions is taken in solving problems experienced effectively, so that decisions taken do not violate applicable norms and can be accepted by the wider community. The purpose of this study is to find out and obtain empirical evidence about the role of belief in the law of karma in moderating the influence of idealism and professional commitment to the ethical decisions of tax consultants. The population in this study are all registered tax consultants in the Province of Bali. This research analysis technique uses Moderate Regression Analysis (MRA). Based on the results of the analysis it was found that idealism has a positive effect on the ethical decisions of tax consultants. Professional commitment has a positive effect on the ethical decisions of tax consultants. Belief in the law of karma reinforces the influence of idealism on the ethical decisions of tax consultants. Belief in the law of karma reinforces the influence of professional commitment on the ethical decisions of tax consultants
