Driving customer loyalty: Mediating effect of customer satisfaction on service quality and brand image
This study investigated the critical roles of service quality and brand image in driving customer loyalty, specifically examining how customer satisfaction mediates these relationships among Indihome users in Denpasar. Grounded in the Stimulus-Organism-Response (S-O-R) theory, this research explores how service quality and brand image, as external stimuli, influence internal consumer satisfaction to foster loyalty. A quantitative approach was employed, collecting data through an online survey from 250 Indihome consumers in Denpasar. Data analysis utilized Structural Equation Modeling–Partial Least Squares (SEM-PLS). Findings confirm that service quality and brand image both positively and significantly influence customer loyalty directly. Additionally, both service quality and brand image positively and significantly impact customer satisfaction. Crucially, customer satisfaction was found to directly and positively affect customer loyalty, and it partially mediates the relationships between service quality, brand image and customer loyalty. These results highlight that customer satisfaction is a vital internal response, significantly amplifying how service quality and brand image translate into stronger customer loyalty
Evaluation of project implementation control in pre-construction stage to improve service provider performance in government procurement of goods and services
This study aims to determine what evaluation activity factors have an impact on the performance of service providers based on Circular Letter No. 18/SE/M/2021 which is carried out on the type of tender/auction with a single-file evaluation method for the kind of procurement of goods/services that uses the lowest price evaluation method of the post-qualification knockout system on projects with a unit price system. This study found that all independent variables, namely arithmetic corrections, conflicts of interest and indications of collusion, administration, qualifications, technical, price and specifications, design and changes, impact the performance of service providers, which are dependent variables. Technical evaluation activities and qualification evaluations have a dominant influence among other variables on the performance of service providers. This research produces modeling and improvements to improve the performance of service providers in the pre-construction stage, which is expected to minimize problems during the project
Development of information systems on the integration of EDGE certification, BIM and WBS implementation in operational and maintenance work of flats in DKI Jakarta Province to increase effectiveness and efficiency of time and cost
The construction of flats is one of the efforts of the DKI Jakarta Government to provide decent housing as mandated in Law No. 20 of 2011 and to address the housing backlog in DKI Jakarta Province. Limited land availability means that house construction must be carried out vertically with complexity in its operation and maintenance. This study aims to improve the effectiveness and efficiency of time and costs in the operational and maintenance work of flats in DKI Jakarta Province through the development of an information system for the application of EDGE Certification, BIM, and WBS integration. The methodology used is a questionnaire and interviews involving many experts, namely EDGE Experts and BIM Experts, and related respondents. The results of the study prove that the Development of an Information System for the Integration of the Application of EDGE Certification, BIM, and WBS in the Operational and Maintenance Work of Flats in DKI Jakarta Province can improve the effectiveness and efficiency of time and costs with a linear equation Y = 1.208 + 0.089 X1 + 0.322 X2 + 0.499 X3 – 0.161 X4
Preventing domestic violence through integrated community work
This study is methodologically based on the qualitative research paradigm, with a descriptive approach. It allowed us to investigate, describe, and evaluate the prevention of domestic violence carried out by the multidisciplinary team in the community of San Justo, in the Guantánamo municipality. The participatory action research method was used to determine the level of preparation of the 12 members of the multidisciplinary team to carry out preventive work through integrated community outreach, from January to July 2025. The empirical methods used were participant observation, in-depth interviews, document review, questionnaires, and triangulation. Shortcomings were revealed in the level of integration of this group in the prevention of domestic violence. The need to enhance their training in socioemotional skills and sociopsychological resources for the most effective development of their work was noted. The viability of psychoeducational interventions was confirmed as a useful alternative for the preventive work carried out by this multidisciplinary team in addressing this social problem
The influence of brand image and customer experience on reuse intention with trust as a mediating variable: A study on sociolla users
In Indonesia's growing beauty e-commerce sector, customer reuse intention is vital for long-term survival, as retaining existing customers is a key factor. This study aims to explain the mediating role of trust in the relationship between brand image and customer experience on reuse intention at the e-commerce platform Sociolla. Using a quantitative approach with SEM-PLS, data were collected from 170 respondents via a Google Form questionnaire. The sample was selected using a purposive sampling technique. The findings indicate that brand image and customer experience both positively and significantly influence trust, which, in turn, boosts reuse intention. Additionally, trust was found to act as a partial mediator in the relationships between brand image, customer experience, and reuse intention. Theoretically, these findings contribute to the Theory of Planned Behavior by providing empirical evidence of how these variables are interconnected. The study also offers practical recommendations for Sociolla, such as utilizing brand ambassadors, enhancing customer service, ensuring transparency, and guaranteeing transaction security, to drive customer loyalty and retention
The role of fisheries in national food security
The fisheries sector plays an important role in supporting Indonesia's national food security by providing a source of high-quality and sustainable animal protein. Capture fisheries and aquaculture not only meet the food needs of the community but also contribute significantly to the economy and welfare of coastal communities. This study employs a literature review method to analyze the contributions, challenges, and efforts to improve the fisheries sector in support of national food security. The results of the study indicate that sustainable fisheries resource management, improved aquaculture technology, and appropriate policy support are essential to maintain the continuity of food supply from the sea. Collaborative efforts among the government, businesses, and the community are crucial to strengthening the fisheries sector's role as a pillar of national food security
The Impact of Bible translation on the preservation of Itangikom, Lamnso and Mungaka
This study explores the role of Bible translation in preserving Itangikom, Lamnso, and Mungaka—three minority languages in Cameroon’s North West Region. Using a mixed-methods approach, data were collected from interviews with five linguists and ten translators, questionnaires from 150 native speakers, focus group discussions with community elders, and analysis of translated texts. Drawing on Ethnolinguistic Vitality Theory (Fishman, 1991), Sociolinguistic Relativity Theory (Crystal, 2000), and Language Planning and Policy Theories (Spolsky, 2004), the study reveals that Bible translation enhances literacy by standardizing orthographies and supporting church-based literacy programs. Over 68% of respondents first encountered written texts in their language through religious materials (Lewis, Simons & Fennig, 2016). Translation efforts have also bolstered cultural identity, preserved orality, instilled pride, contextualized worship, and fostered intergenerational transmission. However, challenges such as limited funding, resource scarcity, the ongoing Anglophone crisis, and the influence of dominant languages like Pidgin English, English, and French (Kraus, 1992) remain. The study recommends increased investment in translation, integration into formal education, digitization, and advocacy to enhance community engagement. Ultimately, Bible translation is shown to be a powerful tool for linguistic documentation, cultural preservation, and the promotion of educational equity
Methodological strategies to enhance reading comprehension in third-year high school students
The ineffectiveness of the methodological strategies employed by teachers in teaching reading comprehension to third-year high school students is a significant challenge that requires a deeper understanding and detailed consideration. This problem not only affects students' academic performance in this specific area but also has broader implications for their educational and personal development. The objective was to establish methodological strategies to enhance reading comprehension in students. A quantitative approach was used, considering a sample of 100 students and 10 teachers from the third year of high school at the Educational Unit during the 2023 academic year. The results showed that methodological strategies such as the integration of comics, gamification, and reading workshops could be beneficial in promoting reading comprehension in students, due to the predominantly positive receptiveness to this tool. A systematic literature review allowed for the identification of the most relevant and research-supported strategies for improving reading comprehension, which contributed to optimizing resources and efforts in the educational field
