An ideological representation in shakespeare's Macbeth: critical stylistic analysis of soliloquies
Critical Stylistics is a new branch of linguistics that studies ideology in literary and political texts. It relies on criteria adopted from the stylistic analysis. Thus, this paper aims to apply Jeffries’ (2009) critical stylistics model to soliloquies in Macbeth written by Shakespeare. This study also aims at analyzing two soliloquies given by the character of Macbeth using only three of the textual-conceptual functions of Jeffries’ (2009) model. These functions are: Naming and Describing; Prioritizing; and Equating and Contrasting. These functions are adopted in this study because they reveal what the speaker is representing regarding his ideology. This study follows the qualitative and quantitative approaches of analysis; the qualitative analysis of the soliloquies is intended to show how the textual-conceptual functions are used, and the quantitative analysis shows the frequency of this use. This study concludes that Shakespearean soliloquies in Macbeth are loaded with ideology and this ideology is represented by the use of naming and describing words such as assassination, dagger, ambition to represent negative and dangerous ideology; furthermore, prioritizing some instances such as his murderer to contradict what is supposed to be the case.
Representations of mortuary beliefs and practices in Akan literary works: a focus on Edwin Efa’s forosie
Akan mortuary rituals and practices are undergoing rapid transformation due to the combined influences of colonization, modernization, westernization and globalization. For researchers interested in Akan beliefs and customs related to death and bereavement, it will be useful to be cognizant or aware of the nature and forms these practices and beliefs assumed during earlier epochs in Akan society and history. For both the scholar and the inexpert on this subject, Edwin Efa’s fictional work in Twi, Forosie, provides a worthy introduction to the subject, offering important insights into mortuary beliefs, burial customs, funeral rites and other rituals associated with death and bereavement among the Akan. A major theme that runs through the book is the Akan worldview that failure to properly send off a deceased relative can incur ancestral wrath through sickness, misfortune, or death. A major strength of the book is that it covers some of the rarely discussed topics on Akan mortuary rituals such as funsua, samantoa, owufo aduane, and human sacrifice. Readers of the book will also find it especially useful for the important insights it offers on beliefs and attitudes toward altruistic suicide in pre-colonial Akan society
Blended Learning is an Educational Innovation and Solution During the COVID-19 Pandemic
The COVID-19 pandemic has indeed forced people to do more activities from home, including the learning process. The learning from home policy is not accompanied by rules and regulations such as what this learning process should be carried out. As a result, various learning processes emerged, from what they are to complex things. This study aims to find innovations and learning solutions during a pandemic, to support learning from home. Online learning is the only option. It's just that, based on the problems and constraints revealed, this online learning must be packaged like traditional face-to-face learning. The choice then turned to blended learning, with various adjustments. Face-to-face learning is carried out via video conference if needed only. The shortcomings are then overcome by compiling learning materials in the form of problem-based, text-based, video, or multimedia practical guides. The learning process is complemented by the opening of active interactive communication channels. Learning evaluation is carried out not only on results but also considering the process and self-evaluation. All of this learning process should be as optimal as possible using a mobile device or smartphone

General radiographic patient dose monitoring using conformity test data
Currently, the Nuclear Energy Supervisory Agency (BAPETEN) is actively guiding users or license holders related to patient protection against radiation hazards or often referred to as radiation protection and safety on medical exposure. Protection against medical exposure became a big issue when the mandatory compliance test on X-ray equipment for diagnostic and interventional radiology was introduced. In addition, license holders through their medical practitioners are also required to use the level of medical exposure guidelines. While PERKA BAPETEN No. 9, 2011 concerning the Suitability Test of Diagnostic and Interventional Radiology X-Ray device, states that one of the test parameters that directly affect the patient's radiation dose and determine the feasibility of operating the X-Ray device to the patient is information on the dose or rate of radiation dose received by the patient. Monitoring doses with Entrance Surface Air Kerma (ESAK) or what is often referred to as ESD (entrance surface dose) using suitability conformity test data starting from 50,60,70,80,90 and 100 kVp with 20 mAs at SID 100 meters. The results of the research on the value of ESAK was 0.049 mGy, an ESAK value that still met the national I-DRL value from BAPETEN Regulation No. 1211/K/V/2021

This paper focuses on fiscal deficit and Nigeria's economic growth. To achieve the objective of this study diagnostic check and unit root test using Phillips perron was employed to investigate time series data and to test the stationarity of the time series of the variables. Johansen co-integration analysis and Error Correction Model (ECM) are employed to test for a relationship between or among variables. The paper concludes that the driving variables of economic growth in Nigeria were Public external debt-PEXD, total federal collection revenue-TFCR, and interest rate-INTR. The public deficit financing was determined based on the study by the variables of Government expenditure (GOVE), real GDP, exchange rate-EXCR. The best model of ECM to determine the impact of fiscal deficit in Nigeria is the interaction with economic growth performance measures in Nigeria.
