Digital technology implementation towards English e-modul at engineering department in State Polytechnic of Bali
Technology utilization in English learning instruction has been a significant tool to increase the learners’ ability and comprehension in Polytechnic education. However, the absence of systematic and suitable digital English learning materials frequently impacts the decrease of students' urge in learning the lesson. This study aims to establish s systematic digital learning material suitable for the engineering department students at the Polytechnic State of Bali. This research applied the qualitative method which explained the students’ arguments for the use of e-module in the English lesson. The unified theory of acceptance and use of technology (UTAUT) was used to analyze the data obtained from the students. The learners opined that the e-module provided important media which significantly escalate comprehension and eagerness of the English language. Although this e-module was beneficial, the urgency of generating the learning materials towards offline and online instruction ought to be conducted
Beliefs about ghosts among the Akan of Ghana: Discussion on a culture and language radio program in Ghana
As a thanatologist who specializes in mortuary beliefs and rites in Ghana, I frequently come across information on Akan cultural beliefs about ghosts, as well as individual or personal stories of ghost encounters. Yet, there has been virtually no academic inquiry into the topic. Between January and February 2015, I listened to four consecutive weekly radio programs focusing primarily on ghosts on a commercial radio station in Ghana. The programs were broadcast in Twi, the Akan lingua franca, which the author is fluent in. Following extensive discussions about Akan cultural beliefs regarding ghosts and other superhuman entities by the host and co-hosts of the program, listeners were invited to share their personal stories about ghost sightings and other encounters with ghosts. The current article presents a narrative of the discussion that occurred on the four featured programs. The data show that Akans of Ghana maintain a strong cultural belief in ghosts. Several listeners shared with the host and listeners their personal encounters with ghosts and ghost activities

Analysis of contractor capacity level in following E-tender in Gianyar District
The implementation of government procurement of goods/services in the Gianyar Regency is carried out electronically by E-Tendering. In practice, the participation and bid value of bidders tends to decrease both during conventional auctions and electronic auctions. This study aims to determine the level of contractors' ability to participate in e-tenders, factors that affect participation or contracts not to participate in e-tenders, and what deficiencies exist in the implementation of e-tenders in Gianyar Regency. The sample used in this study were 73 contractor companies in this Regency in the analysis of the contractor's ability level, and 43 companies in the factor and deficiency analysis where this number used the sampling method using simple random sampling technique with purposive sampling and data collection using observation from GAPENSI Gianyar Regency and questionnaires. Data analysis was carried out by descriptive analysis. From the results of the analysis of contractors, the dominant qualification is K1. Therefore, the contractor's ability to participate in e-tenders is the most dominant in projects valued at Rp.0 - Rp. 1 Billion. And for the category e-tender highest in the B2 qualification with the contractor's ability level, they can participate in projects worth Rp.0 - Rp. 50 billion
How the ownership structure and firm size effect on intellectual capital disclosure? A case study before and during COVID-19
This study aims to identify, analyze and obtain empirical evidence regarding the effect of ownership structure consisting of managerial ownership, institutional ownership and foreign ownership as well as firm size on intellectual capital disclosure before and during COVID-19. In addition, this study also tests whether there are differences in intellectual capital disclosures made before and during Covid-19. The sample in this study were banking sub-sector companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange in 2018-2021 which were divided into two groups, namely before COVID-19 and during COVID-19. This study adopts the ICD In model from Ulum (2015) which has been modified by adding several items that are in accordance with applicable regulations in Indonesia. The data analysis technique used was multiple linear regression and paired sample t-test for different tests using evies 12 student version software. The results of the study show that prior to COVID-19 managerial ownership, institutional ownership and foreign ownership had no effect on intellectual capital disclosure. Firm size had a positive effect on intellectual capital disclosure before COVID-19. During COVID-19, managerial ownership had a negative effect, institutional ownership had a negative effect and foreign ownership had no effect on intellectual capital disclosure
Water discourse in Kakawin Purwaning Gunung Agung
Water is one of the abiotic elements that is widely discussed in the treasures of traditional Indonesian literature, one of which is Kakawin Purwaning Gunung Agung. This text is a kakawin created in modern Bali by Ida Pedanda Made Sidemen. Kakawin Purwaning Gunung Agung discourses on the water in various narratives to harmonize the universe and relate to the entities of the gods. Water is considered a medium whose presence depends on Lord Shiva as a superpower figure. With the reading of deconstruction as stated by Jacques Derrida, water can be interpreted as not just an element of God's creation that is completely subject to Lord Shiva. Water and its representatives fight against Shiva's domination. Readers will be offered new ideas that nature must be protected and used wisely with the principles of sustainability
Analysis of labor productivity level and time performance satisfaction in the SMAN 10 Denpasar development project
The project is a series of work that aims to achieve project objectives according to the requirements that have been set at the beginning of the project such as quality, time and cost requirements. In the current era of globalization, every worker in all sectors including the construction sector is required to have high work productivity. Productivity is very important for every worker in completing a job, the lack of awareness of the workforce on the importance of productivity is one of the causes of the low work produced. This study aims to determine the level of productivity and satisfaction with time performance. The data used in this study were analyzed by measuring productivity and satisfaction of watuk performance measured by the SPI value.

Design and implementation the stability and direction of hexapod robot motion
Robotics technology has developed rapidly and applied to various fields of work that cannot be done by humans. Many forms and types of robots used include the hexapod robot. The purpose of this research is to regulate the direction of the hexapod robot’s motion and be able to avoid obstacles to maintain the stability of its motion using a PID control system. In establishing a good control system, various types of sensors are used, those are ultrasonic and inertial measurement unit sensors. The shape of the hexapod robot is made to be integrated with the robot's legs. Each leg of the robot consists of 3 joints, joined by a servo motor. There are 18 servo motors. Eight ultrasonic sensors are used to detect surrounding objects, run well, and ability to avoid obstacles. The main orientation of the hexapod robot motion is to move forward, but if there are obstacles, it will find a solution to turn using ultrasonic sensors. An inertial measurement unit sensor is used to maintain the robot’s body’s stability
The influence of word of mouth and brand image on the consumer decision process in choose clinic content: Case Study of Embun Pagi Sekayu Gynecological Clinic
This study aimed to analyze the effect of word of mouth and brand image jointly and partially on consumer decisions and the dominant two variables. Data collection at the Embun Pagi Clinic in the Sekayu area involved 100 patients who used the services of the Sekayu Embun Pagi Clinic with non-probability sampling, namely accidental sampling. Data was collected by distributing questionnaires and using multiple linear regression using SPSS software. Data analysis is a descriptive method, classical assumption test with normality test with Kolmogorov-Smirnov, multiple regression analysis methods with f test, t-test, and coefficient of determination. This study indicates that word of mouth and brand image significantly influence the consumer decision process in choosing the Embun Pagi Sekayu Gynecological Clinic. These results can be seen in the multiple regression analysis and the coefficient of determination R-value of 0.802, meaning that the relationship between word of mouth and brand image on consumer decisions is 80.2%, meaning that the relationship between variables is close. Adjusted R Square value of 0.636 means that 63.6% of purchasing decision factors can be explained by word of mouth and brand image.
