The study aimed to find out the implementation of the SIPUT (Integrated Public Service System) application to improve public services in the Loktuan Village, Bontang City. This research used a descriptive qualitative approach with a purposive sampling technique. The primary data sources used in this study include the head of the Loktuan sub-district head, Mr. Hadi Jumianto and Mrs. Nurliya, and three public service employees or staff who operate the SIPUT application, as well as the surrounding community who often use public services in the Loktuan sub-district, as many as 5 people. Secondary data sources used are written sources. Data analysis using Miles and Huberman. In improving public services, five indicators serve as a benchmark for whether the efforts made can improve public service communication, namely fast service, appropriate service, cheap service, safe service, and fair service. The government can improve digital-based public services by adding additional features such as customer satisfaction levels and complaint telephone numbers if there are things that might harm citizens

Three-dimensional (3D) land contour modeling using QGIS software on topography mapping in Buwit Village, Kediri District, Tabanan Regency, Bali

    Get PDF
A topographical map is a map that contains information about the elevation of the land surface in a place to the mean sea level (Mean Sea Level), which is depicted by contour lines. Information from the coordinates and elevation of detailed land points as a result of land surveying can be used to create a three-dimensional model of the land surface on the map using the Quantum Geographic Information System (QGIS) software application. With a three-dimensional (3D) model, the objects on the map are seen more alive as they actually are in the field, so that analyzing a topographic map can be done more easily. To support these activities, three-dimensional (3D) land contour modeling was carried out with QGIS software on topographical mapping in Buwit Village, Kediri District, Tabanan Regency, Bali

The optimization of a Bilih fish drying system using the technique for order preference by similarity to ideal solution (TOPSIS)

    Get PDF
The quality of dried Bilih fish can be determined on the basis of its water and protein content. The dried Bilih fish produced by Small Medium Enterprise (MSE) Mina Lestari has a high water content of 24% and a low protein content of 35%. These problems were addressed using a proposed parabolic-type drying machine, whose operating system is affected by drying duration, drying tray height, tray rotation, drying layer material and rack quantity and capacity. The results showed that water content decreased to 11.98% and that protein concentration increased to 64.02%. The sensitivity analysis indicated that changes in the values of quality attributes were minimally sensitive to alterations in the weights attached to water and protein content. The optimal combination of factor levels would remain consistent even under a weight of ≤0.83286 ascribed to water content, indicating that a weight ranging from 0 to 0.83286 for this substance exhibits little sensitivity to the initial decision on level factors

This research paper examines the problems Iraqi students face in international schools in Turkey in speaking and learning the English Language. This paper examines the student's difficulties in different stages. Moreover, to know the actual problems by which the students cannot speak or learn the English language fluently. Learning English considers an essential aspect of any student's life; considering that English is an international language, it is a demand of today's world. It is known that more people have learned it as a second language than native speakers. It is estimated that there are over 2 billion speakers of English in the world. English might be a popular language, but this does not necessarily mean it is a simple language to master. There are many challenges people, especially students, face when learning English; if a teacher can define and simplify these challenges, it might be easier to overcome these challenges. Teachers, teaching methods, curriculums, and even teaching policies differ from one country to another.&nbsp

    Get PDF
Management of Water Resources in order to meet the needs of living things is very important. Management of Water Resources that is not integrated will cause various problems, including drought, conflicts of interest between water users. The Bukian Irrigation Area is an irrigation area that utilizes surface water for its agricultural activities. Currently the Bukian Irrigation Area obtains irrigation water from the Bukian I weir and Bukian II weir as a supply weir to increase the need for water discharge required in the irrigation area. In the utilization of surface water that is used to meet irrigation needs at this time less attention is paid to a good water management system, such as a lack of control over water use. Water management can be carried out properly if the condition of the water balance in the system is known. Related to this, additional discharge and integrated water management are needed to avoid conflicts of interest between water users. The method in this study is a quantitative analysis with the mainstay discharge variable in the Bukian I and II weirs and irrigation water demand based on the existing cropping pattern.&nbsp
