Antecedents and Consequences of Green Human Resource Management in Oil and Gas Companies of Pakistan
Objective: The objective of this study is to look at the causes and consequences of green human resource management in Pakistani oil and gas companies.
Methodology: The data is collected from Pakistani oil and gas corporations. The reason for concentrating on this business is that it practices the most environmentally friendly labor practices of any other The PLS approach is used to evaluate the data received from 121 managers.
Findings: It has been found that top-level management support and environmental orientation are prerequisites to implementing green human resource management in this study. Second, it is also discovered that implementing green human resource management increase employee happiness, organizational commitment, and environmental performance. Because it provides new insights into green human resource management as well as a roadmap for accomplishing sustainable development goals, this study is important both theoretically and practically.
Implications: Employees play a critical role in helping companies achieve environmental sustainability because they are the backbone of organizations and a significant source of competitive advantage by implementing green human resource management practices, such as establishing environmental performance metrics, training employees and rewarding them for their environmental performance, this can be achieved
Impact of Corporate Governance on Dividend Policy: Evidence from Pakistan
Purpose: The objective of the paper is to examine the impact of corporate governance on the dividend payout policy of firms listed on the Pakistan stock exchange during 2010-2020. As Pakistani investors face issues regarding their return in the shape of dividends and depend upon the firm’s corporate governance strength. To test whether changes in firm code of corporate governance have a significant influence on dividend policy.
Design/Methodology/Approach: The panel data has been used for the period 2010-2020 and panel least square has been applied. Further, to test the association, following factors such delisting risk, government tenure, political connection with institutional shareholding as many political firms hold corporate shares which influence the decision to pay dividends.
Findings: Findings from the fixed effect model show that corporate governance has a negative impact on dividend policy while government tenure, politically connected firm has a positive impact on the dividend. The study also concludes that firm size, profitability, tax, asset turnover, leverage, and firm shareholding also influence firm dividend payment behavior.
Implications/Originality/Value: The implication of study reveals that firms must focus on strong their governance and include more independent directors on the board which leads to favorable strategies regarding investors. The investor must invest in those firm where lower political connection, pay continuous dividend either high or low decease/increase delisting chances, strong corporate governance and firm specific factors also lead to make decision of dividend payment
Integrated Marketing Communication and Customer Satisfaction as a function of Customer Loyalty with the Moderating role of Product Innovation Moderation
Purpose: The basic aim of the current study is to investigate the impact of integrated marketing communication on customer loyalty especially in the individuals living in South Punjab, Pakistan.
Design/Methodology/Approach: The paper focuses on a survey with a 7.0-point Likert Scale questionnaire using 55 items including all variables and constructs. The sample population was used from South Punjab, Pakistan comprising of individuals living in this area. PLS-SEM was used as an analysis tool for this quantitative data.
Findings: The primary finding of the study is to use the innovative technology so as to provide the new and unique features within brands so as to enhance the loyalty within customers.
Implications/Originality/Value: The study uses a single moderator and mediator which restricts the study to this domain only. Future research may use some other variables like brand trust and brand commitment as moderator and/or mediator to extend this current study. Moreover, future research may use longitudinal approach to avoid any data bias. The researchers focus on the technological advancement for product innovations so as to satisfy the needs and wants of customer which consequently leads to increase the customer loyalty towards the brands. Employee Well Being and Work Life Balance as a Function of Job Satisfaction: The Moderating Role of Organisational Citizenship Behaviour
Purpose The goal of this study is to investigate that how Employee Well-Being and Work-Life Balance affected Job Satisfaction in healthcare centers with the moderating role of Organizational Citizenship Behavior.
Design/Methodology/Approach: Research was carried out in a quantitative approach. The healthcare centers of Multan region were chosen at random. Using a convenient sampling strategy, a questionnaire was created to collect data from different healthcare centers situated in Multan region. The Cronbach’s Alpha and Discriminant Validity were used to assess the questionnaire's reliability in the pilot phase. Descriptive and inferential statistical techniques (using Smart PLS) were used to assess quantitative data.
Findings: Employee Well-being and Job satisfaction have a positive relationship, whereas Work-Life Balance and Job satisfaction have a negative relationship, according to the results of this study. Organizational Citizenship Behavior (OCB) moderates Employee Well-being and Work Life Balance to Job satisfaction. Employee Well-Being is one of the major strengths for employee productivity, according to the findings of this research. When professionals practice Organizational Citizenship Behavior, employees' job satisfaction begins to rise in healthcare centers.
Implications/Originality/Value: This study was a complete report on Multan's healthcare centers that will be highly beneficial and instructive for policymakers and administration staff of healthcare centers for employee’s development, and for researchers in the Multan region to alter programs and policies according to the requirement for achieving goal
Poverty Human Capital and Economic Development Nexus: A Case Study of Multan Division
Purpose: Countries across the world have acknowledged that poverty alleviation has to be of critical importance among the objectives of economic development. This paper sheds light on the Multan division, as one of the important divisions of Southern Punjab, Pakistan.
Design/Methodology/Approach: The primary data was collected through a household survey during the year 2019, using the Binomial Logit and Ordinary Least Squares (OLS) regression techniques.
Findings: The study concluded that the occupation of the household head in the primary sector and large household size are significant and positively related to household poverty. However, the human capital of the household is found to be significant and negatively related to household poverty in the Multan division. Economic development or per capita income of the households are found to be significant and positively related to the human capital of the households.
Implications/Originality/Value: The provision of job opportunities by the government would be helpful in poverty alleviation and the development of this region
Role of Love and Affection in Mate Selection among Educated Women in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa
Purpose: The concern study “role of love and affection in mate selection” among educated females was conducted in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
Methodology: A sample size of 278 randomly selected educated females working in three public sector universities of Khyber Pakhtukhwa were selected by a pre-tested questionnaire.
Findings: Results report love and affection as main consideration of females in mate selection. The major role in this respect was played by the female education, their exposure to mass media and less effective role of religion. Females found believing that a marriage cannot exist without love and affection between husband and wife. It resulted a rise in trend towards love marriages despite of their low success rate mainly due to over expectations and perceiving it a western idea. Females also believing that there is more equity and independence in love marriages.
Implications: The concept of humility should be inculcated among young girls during socialization so as they can chose a match that encourages Islamic and cultural teachings about simplicity and humbleness instead of being attracted towards worldly goods and unrealistic needs that are supported by western images
Normative Reference Standard for Handgrip Strength among Adolescent Students in South Punjab Pakistan: A Cross-Sectional Study
Purpose: The study provided the age and gender-specific normative standard by using LMS technique and comparison with international reference values for the muscular strength by hand grip among adolescents of South Punjab, Pakistan.
Design/Methodology/Approach: A cross sectional descriptive research design was adopted, 60 public high school with 2970 students aged 12-16 contributed. Hand grip strength was measured using (GRIPX Digital Hand Dynamometer). LMS method was used for calculating reference norms. Age and gender-specific smoothed percentile curves P5th to P95th were acquired for hand grip strength.
Findings: The results revealed that the boys were higher in muscular strength than their counterparts, South Punjab’s adolescents were found lower in strength than the compared adolescents. Around 40% of the population is falling in the poor and very poor zone.
Implications/Originality/Value: The current study presented the foremost age and gender specific hand grip strength percentile curves and provided the health benefit zones for the adolescent of South Punjab. 
Sports Tourism and its Impact on Economic Growth of a Developing Nation
Purpose: This research paper investigates the impact of sports tourism on the growth of economy of a developing nation especially India. We have used the time frame from 1990 to 2016 and we have taken all the international events occurred in India during this span of time. The variables included in this research paper include Gross Domestic Product as dependent variable whereas in control variable we have taken Gross Fixed Capital Formation and Labor Force and International Tourism as focus variable. We have also used dummy variable in our regression model where ‘0’ refers to years in which India has not hosted any mega sports event and ‘1’ refers to years in which India has hosted any mega sports event.
Methodology: In order to observe the effect of hosting any mega sports events on growth on economy of India, we have used Ordinary Least Square technique.
Findings: In order to observe the effect of hosting any mega sports events on growth on economy of India, we have used Ordinary Least Square technique. With the help of Regression results we can conclude that there is a positive impact of Sports Tourism on Gross Domestic Product and the dummy variable used in our Regression model also found to be significant. After seeing the results, it is suggested to the policy makers and the Indian Government to increase the investment in the infrastructure and also provide number of incentives to the tourist that are going to visit during any mega sports event, perhaps it will also boost the tourism industry in the country which ultimately effect the growth of economy positively.
Implications: There are other areas which should be the focus of the government in future are socio-cultural issues and environmental impacts of hosting a mega sports event.  
Impact of Status Consumption on Buying of Fashion Products and its Behavioral Outcomes in Context of Young Female Consumers
Purpose: The purpose of doing this research study is to explore the three important research objectives which explore the impact of fashion related behavioral outcomes of female university students, residing in Pakistan. The concept of this research study arises due to lack of academic inquiry about the influence of materialism on FC and SC particularly among female university students of Pakistan.
Methodology: Building framework on these bases frame work is developed which shows materialism shows positive relationship with SC and FC. Reason is that Islam is most modernized religion and allows its followers to adopt all the new trends (of fashion or from any field).
Findings: The findings suggests that the sample under study have religious thoughts, they full fills all the orders of Allah, say their prayers daily, but they also seem fashionable not vulgar. Everything that seems vulgar or comes in the category of extravagance is not allowed in Islam.
Finding of this paper support previous work and tell that status and materially driven female students need to attain social attention so they use fashionable products to enhance their self-image. In similar concern, the relationship between other variables like fashion consciousness and its effect on self-image.
Implications: In Pakistan, fashion consciousness is increasing rapidly. This study will be helpful for brands and policy makers to better under consumer need and serve them accordingly
Organizational Citizenship Behavior as a Consequence of Work-Life Balance: The Mediating Role of Burnout and Moderating role of Employee Engagement
Purpose: Managing work and life together is an ongoing challenge in today’s world. In the current study, we examine the Work-Life Balance (WLB) of employees in Islamic Bank. The main objective of this paper is to analyze the experience of Work-Life Balance (WLB) and Burnout by workers of the Islamic Banking sector.
Design/Methodology/Approach: In this research, the data will be collected through the Islamic Banks based on a quantitative research method. To regulate the influence of demographic variables on burnout & WLB. To study the relation among WLB, employee engagement, burnout, and OCB a questionnaire was distributed among the employees by using the convenient random sampling technique.
Findings: Results contributed to the study by narrating that no moderating role of Employee Engagement has been observed affecting the relationship between Work-Life Balance (WLB) and Organizational Citizenship Behavior (OCB) as well as the relationship between Burnout and Organizational Citizenship Behavior (OCB).
Implications/Originality/Value: The findings of this study can assist HR managers and policymakers in understanding how Work-Life Balance (WLB) and Burnout can contribute to the development of Organizational Citizenship Behavior (OCB). While Employee Engagement strengthens the Work-Life Balance (WLB) and provides theoretical-based analytics to improve Organizational Citizenship Behavior (OCB). In organizations, a well-managed WLB is necessary to retain employees. This activity also has some implications on Employee Engagement and their attitude towards work without considering the impact of Burnout
