    Strategic Indicators for Strategic Intervention in Sports Facilities Management Performance in Malaysia

    Purpose: The accessible sporting facilities are underutilised, being misused, not being protected, and not being maintained by the responsible parties. The majority of studies indicate that sports venues face a variety of facilities management (FM) issues due to the inadequacies of their current operating systems, including the financial aspect, the lack of qualified personnel, the effectiveness and quality of management operations, the optimization of operations, and safety concerns. The purpose of this article is to explore the strategic indicators for strategic intervention targeted at improving the management of sports facilities in Malaysia by identifying the most important aspects. Design/Methodology/Approach: Data for this preliminary study were acquired from 44 randomly selected respondents, including FM representatives from a number of Malaysian stadiums. Initially, the data will be factor-analyzed using the statistical software SPSS. Findings: Academic and industry specialists examined the authenticity and dependability of the instruments' data. Implications/Originality/Value: By illustrating the relationship between FM performance and strategic intervention, this study contributes to the existing body of information on FM. In order to develop a conceptual model for a strategic intervention targeted at enhancing sports facility management performance, it will be necessary to incorporate all aspects of the organisational strategy

    Analysis of Rural Women's Participation in Income Generating Activities in District Mardan

    Purpose: The contemporary research was intended to survey the countryside women's participation in monetary creating activities and had explored socio-economic obstacles faced by them while carrying out their home activities. Methodology: Survey was carried out in two purposively selected villages in the Mardan district of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province. by Usage of a simple random technique, targeting a total of 112 women respondents’ primary data were collected with the help of a semi-structured interview schedule and analyzed with the help of descriptive statistics techniques. Findings: The study found that the literacy rate was low among the sampled respondents therefore livestock rearing and embroidery work was the most common income-generating activities among the respondents. There were no formal and recognized training centers or any other guidance providers for the women in the study area. Moreover, the lack of marketing facilities had restrained the respondents to sell out their products at cheaper prices, therefore, sampled respondents faced problem/s in performing income-generating activities in the study area. Implications: credit and marketing facilities can also be promoted for the sustainable business advancement of the rural women so they can sell their products at reasonable prices to improve their socio-economic conditions.                                                        &nbsp

    Corporate Social Responsibility and Financial Performance in the Manufacturing Sector in Pakistan: Moderating Role Gender Diversity of Board

    Purpose: The study examines the impact of corporate social responsibility on financial performance with the moderating role of gender diversity in the context of the manufacturing sector in Pakistan. Design/Methodology/Approach: The study is quantitative by using secondary data from 33 manufacturing firms listed on the Pakistan stock exchange for the time of 2015-to 2020. CSR disclosure index is calculated through the content analysis technique. Traditional and market-based proxies are used to measure financial performance. The study used the Panel data analysis technique by employing the GMM model.  Findings: Results shows that corporate social responsibility positively influences the performance of firms, which implies that engagement in CSR will improve a firm’s performance. Moreover, results reveal that gender diversity strengthens the relationship between corporate social responsibility and financial performance, which suggests that having female board members will benefit the firm to engage in CSR. Implications/Originality/Value: The study is valuable for corporate executives for captivating the initiatives concerning CSR and gender diversity on boards

    Examining the Impact of Project Management Methodology on Construction Project Success. Using Risk Management as a Mediator and Organizational Culture as a Moderator

    Purpose: The objective of this empirical study was to examine this relationship using 03 different dimensions of various elements of any Project management methodology i.e. having a comprehensive set of elements, supplementing missing elements & applying relevant elements, and assessing their impact on project success. Design/Methodology/Approach:  Data is collected from 261 respondents from the construction industry of Punjab, Pakistan with the help of a research questionnaire. Partial Least squared-Structural Equation modeling is used to analyze the data through Smart PLS. Findings: The results of this study indicate that all three dimensions have a significant and positive impact on project success. Furthermore, mediation by risk management and moderation by organizational culture is also found to be present in these relationships. Implications/Originality/Value: These results implicate that by using relevant dimensions of various elements of project management methodology, the project success rate can be enhanced for construction projects

    Role of Agile and Lean Supply Chain Strategy on Firm Performance: Evidence from Drinking-Water Industry of Sindh, Pakistan

    Purpose: The objective of present was to determine the role of agile and lean supply chain strategy on firm performance in drinking-water industry of Sindh, Pakistan. For obtaining the research objective of this study primary data gathered through questionnaire from previous studies. Design/Methodology/Approach: Questionnaire was self-administered and printed questionnaire distributed among employee which are working in the drinking-water industry of Sindh, Pakistan. Total 200 questionnaires were distributed among only 180 received back complete filled. Hence, the response rate was 90% which good response rate for concluding findings of present study. Reliability analysis performed in SPSS version 25 but hypotheses were tested via multiple regressing analyses in AMOS version 25. Findings: Findings, confirmed positive and significant impact of agile and lean supply chain strategy on firm performance in drinking-water industry of Sindh, Pakistan. However, the agile supply chain strategy has more significant impact on firm performance due to higher beta value.     Consumer Intention towards Webrooming Behavior in Emerging Economies: A Conceptual Framework based on Behavioral Reasoning Theory

    Purpose: Recent research about consumer webrooming behavior has conferred the importance and wide prevalence of this behavior and indicates the impelling need for the exploration of this emerging phenomenon in the omni-channel retail environment. The purpose of this study is to understand consumers’ reasons related to channel attributes, acting as determinants and resistance factors for the consumers’ intention towards webrooming behavior, based on the framework of the Behavioral Reasoning Theory (BRT). Design/Methodology/Approach: Using the framework of BRT, postulations related to webrooming behavior have been proposed. The postulations are based on the literature review on webrooming conduct in the omnichannel shopping scenario. Findings: The proposed model imparts understanding about webrooming behavior on the basis of consumers’ reasoning and values underlying their attitude and intention towards webrooming behavior to provide a comprehensive view for understanding webrooming behavior in omni-channel retail environment.     Mental retardation is a child who actually experiences mental retardation and development below the average of other children, so that they experience difficulties in academic tasks, communication, and social life that are carried out every day, thus requiring special services and education. Interpersonal communication between parents and children with mental retardation is needed in the process of child development where growth and development is the main process for a child with special needs. Interpersonal communication between parents and mentally retarded children in forming the character of self-help skills at SLB Nur Abadi Jagakarsa emphasizes interpersonal communication characteristics such as openness, empathy, supportive attitude, positive attitude, and equality. The obstacles that occur are mainly the physical barriers of mentally retarded children, namely the ability to catch mentally retarded children in capturing messages conveyed is very weak, the emotions of mentally retarded children cannot be controlled, and semantic barriers, namely the ability to speak mentally retarded children which is difficult for others to understand

    View of Enforcement of the Economic Rights of Crime Victims in Indonesia from the Perspective Pancasila

    Objective: Enforcement of civil rights for criminal victims in Indonesia can be achived in three ways, that is a combination of compensation cases, lawsuits against the law, and requests for compensation for restitution and protection of witnesses and victims. However, these efforts can only be carried out if there is a request from the victim, if there is no request then this effort cannot be carried out. This resulted in a separate obstacle for the victims of crime to obtain compensation from the perpetrators of the crime.  This condition shows that the value of justice in Pancasila has not yet been implemented at the criminal justice. Methodology: Using normative juridical research methods by seeking data sourced from regulations relating to the civil rights of crime victims. Findings: This research concludes several efforts and ways for victims of crime to receive compensation

    Transformational Leadership, Communication Skill and Performance of Rural Companies: Moderated by Environmental Uncertainty

    Purpose: Establishing companies in rural areas is one solution for equitable development. However, in reality, there are still many companies in rural areas that are not yet operating optimally. This is due to many factors. This research aims to analyze how transformational leadership and communication skills play a role in improving company performance in rural areas. Additionally examined in this study as a moderating factor is environmental uncertainty Design/Methodology/Approach: The population in this study was 57 rural companies in Indonesia spread across Riau Province. The sampling technique used is stratified sampling. Respondents in this study are company managers. A total of 137 respondents participated in this study. The data-gathering technique employs questionnaires, which are dispersed by delivering them directly to respondents. This study employs the partial least squares method to evaluate the hypothesis. Findings: According to data analysis, environmental uncertainty, communication abilities, and transformational leadership all have a effect on improving business performance. Environmental uncertainty moderates the impact of transformative leadership on corporate performance but not the impact of communication skills on company performance.  Implications/Originality/Values: This research contributes to the importance of transformational leaders and communication skills to improve company performance in rural areas. Environmental factors must also be considered in making decisions. To form transformational leadership, leadership training is necessary

    Impact of Cyber Bullying on Political Behavior and Youth’s Perceptions about Use of Social Media by Political Parties of Pakistan

    Purpose: Present study analyses social media users’ perceptions about presence of cyber bullying in political contents on Facebook and Twitter. In the presence of social media cells of political parties, this study designed to analyze impact of cyber bullying on political behavior of users. Design/Methodology/Approach: Present study utilized survey research techniques and data from 300 male and female social media users was collected through a well-designed questionnaire. Findings: Major findings indicate consistent use of social media by youngster and users believe that there is rise in political contents on social media. Social media bullying is creating a political divide among supporters of different political parties. Bullying contents creating hatred, enmity, hostility, aggression and anger against supporters of other parties. Users are the view that offensive language, photo shopped images, impersonation, spoofing, misleading facts are faced by users in political contents. Results also reveal that male users face more offensive language as compared to female users of social media due to wider friendship circle. Implications/Originality/Value: It is evident from the finding that bullying, trolling and memes has emerged as new way of political agenda setting and major area to reinforce voters about certain political ideology in the context of Pakistan’s political atmosphere.&nbsp
