CORRELATION BETWEEN FAMILY SUPPORT AND BLOOD SUGAR CONTROL COMPLIANCE IN THE PATIENT’S DIABETES MELLITUS TYPE II
Introduction: Diabetes mellitus type II currently appears to be the world's highest disease prevalence with 424,9 million. Compliance with the control of blood sugar regularly is very important to reduce complications in patients with diabetes mellitus. To meet the problems above, there is a need for good family support. The purpose of this study is to know the correlation between family support and compliance with the control of blood sugar in patient's diabetes mellitus type II at Sleman General Hospital, Yogyakarta Province.Methods: This research is quantitative research with a cross-sectional approach. The sample of this study amounted to 55 respondents, taken using a simple random sampling technique. The instrument in this study used family support questionnaires, interviews for regularity of blood sugar control, and crosschecking it in the medical records. The spearman rank correlation test tested the data.Results: Most of the 55 respondents have good family support (50,9%), compliance with control of blood sugar is good (61,8%), and the result of the statistical test obtained a p-value of 0,000 with a coefficient correlation of 0,609.Conclusion: There is a significant correlation between family support and blood sugar control compliance in patient's diabetes mellitus type II. It's expected that the family can support to the patients in compliance with treatment to improve their quality of life
CORRELATION RESPONSE TIME TRIAGE AND LENGTH OF STAY IN HEAD INJURED PATIENTS IN THE EMERGENCY ROOM OF RSD DR. SOEBANDI
Introduction: Head injuries require early in preventing disability or death. Length of stay in the emergency room is the length of health service measured from the time the patient arrives until the patient is transferred to another unit. The purpose of this study was to analyze the relationship between triage response time and length of stay of head injured patients in the emergency department. Method: The research design used a correlational study with a cross-sectional approach. There were 31 respondents who used accidental sampling in the RSD emergency room. dr. Soebandi Jember. The research instrument used an observation sheet and a stopwatch. Result:Most of the triage response times were according to the standards, the length of stay was mostly according to the standards. Fisher Exact Test, p value = 0.008 with a calculated Correlation Coefficient of 0.525, meaning that there is an adequate relationship between the triage response time and the length of stay in head injured patients, the faster the response time in head injured patients, the longer the hospitalization, the management of patients with appropriate, and the selection of the right triage, especially in the management of head injured patients can optimize the recovery of head injurie

RELATIONSHIP BETWEEN SLEEP QUALITY AND MEDICATION COMPLIANCE FOR HYPERTENSIVE PATIENTS AT PRIVATE HOSPITAL YOGYAKARTA
Introduction: Hypertension is often referred to as the “silent killer” and based on the 2013 Basic Health Research data, hypertension sufferers in Indonesia at the age of >18 years reached 25.8%, while the undiagnosed reached 63.2%. Research results have shown that most people have sleep disorders, resulting in the recurrence of hypertension. This research aimed to find a relationship between sleep quality and medication compliance for hypertensive patients at Private Hospital, Yogyakarta. Method: This research used a descriptive quantitative research method with a cross-sectional approach. A total of 40 hypertensive patients were taken as the research samples using an accidental sampling technique. Sleep quality was measured using the PSQI (Pittsburgh Sleep Quality Index) instrument, and compliance with medication was measured using Morisky-8. Result: Findings show that 87.5% of respondents experienced poor sleep quality, while the remaining 12.5% had good sleep quality. Regarding medication compliance, 87.5% of respondents complied with medication, while 32.5% did not. Chi square analysis showed that there was no significant relationship between sleep quality and medication adherence (p=0.523). Conclusion: there is no relationship between sleep quality and medication compliance in hypertensive patients. PUBLIC EDUCATION AND AWARENESS FOR DISASTER (PEAD): IDENTIFICATION OF THE IMPACT OF THE COVID-19 PANDEMION THE EVENT OF DECREASED SELF CARE AS AN EFFORT TO INCREASE PEAD IN THE COMMUNITY OF THE CITY OF BANJARMASIN
Introduction:This pandemic disaster significantly reduced the community's self-care ability related to physical function and vitality and the lack of mitigation by using their own capacity. Based on this, it was emphasized how important it is to identify early on the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic on Decreased Self-Care events, so that it is necessary to implement Public Education and Awareness for Disaster (PEAD) in overcoming these impacts.Methods: Type Analytical survey with cross sectional design. The sample is people in the city of Banjarmasin who are affected by the pandemic and measured Decreased Self-Care through the DSCAI-90 parameter. The statistical test used is Kolmogorov-Smirnov.Results:The average Decreased Self-care of respondents affected by the post-covid-19 disaster is that they lack self-care or require assistance (62.4%). Based on the statistical test obtained a significance value of 0.003.Conclusions:There is a relationship between identification of the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic disaster on the incidence of decreased self-care. One form of Public Education and Awareness for Disaster that is given to the community is the provision of education about nursing care after a pandemic disaster through virtual care
Chronic Sorrow Family Caregiver Of Clients With Schizophrenia In The Work Area Of Parongpong Public Health Center, West Bandung Regency
Pendahuluan : Selama kesedihan kronis, keluarga pengasuh merasakan ketidaknyamanan emosional, dan keputusasaan. Ini dapat berkembang menjadi kesedihan patologis, depresi atau memicu beberapa gangguan kejiwaan pada individu yang rentan. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk menggali secara mendalam pengalaman berduka kronis pada keluarga caregiver klien skizofrenia.Metode : Desain penelitian menggunakan metode kualitatif dengan pendekatan deskriptif eksploratif. Partisipan dalam penelitian ini adalah 8 partisipan keluarga yang merawat klien skizofrenia. Analisis data menggunakan analisis isiHasil : Hasil penelitian menemukan enam tema: 1) Kesedihan Kronis sebagai Respon Keluarga, 2) Ingin mengakhiri segalanya 3) Gejala skizofrenia sebagai pemicu kesedihan, 4) Religius sebagai mekanisme koping, 5) Keluarga inti sebagai sumber dukungan utama, 6) Masalah ekonomi sebagai hal yang memperparah kesedihan kronis.Kesimpulan : Dukacita kronis pada pengasuh keluarga sangat penting untuk diperhatikan karena jika tidak ditindaklanjuti akan menimbulkan kesedihan patologis, depresi hingga gangguan jiwa.
The Effect of Mentoring and Emotional Freedom Technique (M-EFT) on Nurses Students' Readiness and Anxiety Facing Competency Tests
Introduction: Competency Test is one of the mandatory instruments by the government to ensure quality graduates. Guiding students to prepare optimal results in the competency test, one of which is mentoring. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of mentoring and emotional freedom technique (M-EFT) on the readiness and anxiety of nurse students to face the competency test. Method: This study is a quantitative study with a quasi-experimental research design with a pre-test and post-test approach with a control group with a statistical test used, namely the Mann Whitney test. The population in this study were nursing students from two institutions, namely the Muhammadiyah Palembang Institute of Health and Technology and the Musi Charitas Catholic University Palembang with a total sample of 153 people. Results:There is a significant effect (0.001) of the intervention of mentoring and emotional freedom technique (M-EFT) on the readiness and anxiety of co-ners students to face the competency test. Conclusions: there is a significant effect of M-EFT on students' readiness and anxiety to face the competency test. It is hoped that the M-EFT intervention can be used as an alternative method in overcoming the problem of learning readiness and anxiety in co-ners in educational institutions

DESCRIPTION OF THE QUALITY OF LIFE OF STROKE PATIENTS
Introduction: Stroke is a disease that causes the highest mortality. Stroke causes disruption of activity and changes in quality of life. It is necessary to study the quality of life of stroke patients. The purpose of this study was to determine the description of the quality of life of patients suffering from stroke.Methods: This type of research is descriptive with accidental sampling method, data was taken for 1 month and obtained 33 samples. Inclusion criteria: stroke patients treated in the internal medicine ward, fully conscious and able to speak. The questionnaire used the SS-QOL questionnaire (5 domains of quality of life: energy, family roles, language, mobility, mood, personality, self-care, social role thinking, upper extremity function, vision, work/productivity).Results: The results showed that the good category of quality of life was the role of family, mood and personality. The domains of language skills, social roles, thinking/cognitive, extremity function, vision, work. Productivity in the medium category. While the domains of mobility, self-care and low energy abilities.Conclusion: it is necessary to monitor and fulfill patient care needs so that the quality of life of stroke patients is increasing.
