    DEEP BREATH RELAXATIONAND AUTOGENIC RELAXATIONTO THE RESPONSE SCALEOF PAINON POST CAESAREAN SECTION WOMEN

    Introduction: Childbirth Caesarean section affects the health status of the mother and baby. Risks that may occur bleeding, thromboembolism and infection during the postpartum period. One ofnon-pharmacological therapies aimed at reducing the pain is deep breath relaxation techniques and autogenic relaxation. Autogenic relaxation techniques provide a calming effect on the body and mind, relaxation and deep breathing is a form of nursing care to relaxing body.Method: This study was a quasy experiment with non-randomized design with a pretest-post test control group design. The treatment was deep breathing relaxation techniques and autogenic. Analysis of the data was paired T-test. Results:Average pain response from a group of pre-relaxation breath is 5.57, and the average pain response of the mother after relaxation breath is 4.43. There is a reduction in pain after the relaxation response in the airway at 1:14. No statistically significant difference between the average pain response before the deep breathing relaxation intervention. In the group of mothers with autogenic relaxation obtained average the pain response before intervention is 5.57, and pain response after intervention autogenic relaxation is 3.67. There is a decrease in pain response after intervention with the average reduction was 1.9. No statistically significant difference between the average pain response before had the intervention autogenic relaxation. There was differences in the mean difference in pain response were significant between the groups of women with deep breathing relaxation treatment and with autogenic relaxation, where the pain response scores (1.143) in the group of mothers with deep breathing relaxation lower than the pain response scores (1.905) in the group of mothers with autogenic relaxation. Discussion: Deep breathing relaxation and autogenic relaxation decrease the pain response on post caesarean section women. They were significants average pain response between treated mother by deep breath relaxation and autogenic relaxation. Keywords: autogenic relaxation techniques, deep breathing relaxation technique

    SOCIALIZATION STIMULATION PROGRESSION WITH SOCIALIZATION DEVELOPMENT ON PRE SCHOOL CHILDREN AGE 36 – 47 MONTHS

    Introduction. Childs stimulation from the outside environment is form of training or playing. Stimulation is a very important requirement for the growth and development of children. Children who get a lot of targeted stimulation will quickly develop. The purpose of this study was to know the corelation of socialization stimulation progression with the development of preschool children’s. Methods. Research design was Quasi Ekperiment with prospective method. Populations in this study were children aged 36-47 months with number of samples 23 respondents. Research’s instrument used questionnaires and observation sheets. Data were processed by looking at the distribution and frequency, mean value and statistical Chi-Square Test. Result. From the result of research was obtained 1) Stimulation given on early stimulation stag, with good category 47.8%, aftergiven the good category stimulation category 87.0%. 2) Development of socialization with good category was 87.0% on age group 36-47 month. 3) Results of the statistical test shoed that there was correlation of stimulation progression with children’s socialization development. Discussion. Social personal development was strongly infl uenced by environment and interaction among children and parents or other adult childrens.     COACHING: RGO (RENDAM GOSOK OLES/SOAK RUB TOPICAL/SRT) ON THE SELF CARE LEVEL OF LEPROSY CLIENTS

    Introduction. Physical problems of leprosy clients such as leprosy wounds and disability resulting negative publicperception (stigma) for the clients. The purpose of this study was to analyze the effect of the intervention Coaching: RGOto the level of self-care of leprosy clients. Method. This study used an experimental design with one group pretest andposttest. The study was conducted during one month in leprosy clients undergoing rehabilitation through community.Eighteen (18) leprosy clients in Puskesmas Tempurejo and Jenggawah selected as respondents using simple randomsampling. Result. The results showed that the level of self care before the RGO intervention the majority (83.3%) ofclients was dependent. After the intervention, the majority of clients (61.1%) experience independence on performingself care. Analysis using frequency distribution and kendall 's tau showed the effect of coaching on the level of self-careindependence of the leprosy clients (p 0.000; α 0.05). Discussion. Leprosy clients require a gradual and regular exercisetwice daily in the treatment of eyes, hands, and feet by doing soak, rub, and topical to prevent the disability.Keywords: Coaching, Leprosy, community-based rehabilitatio

    STRESS LEVELS AND EXAM RESULT AT GASTROINTESTINAL LESSON IN SCHOOL OF NURSING

    Introduction. Problem Based Learning is new learning method that can be positive or negative effected students to accept this method. STIKES Rajawali used this education system for nursing collages. The purpose of this study was to know relationship between stress level and exam result at gastrointestinal lesson with PBL in School of Nursing. Methods. This study used Cross sectional design. The numbers of sample of this study were 77 collages. Collecting data used Student Stress and Coping Intervention (SSCI) questioner. Also use check list question to measure learning outcome at Gatrointestinal lesson with Problem Based Learning’s system education. Univariable analyze used frequent distribution and bivarible for identified relation between variables used annova test. Result. Annova test’s result showed that there was significant difference between learning outcome and stress level with p point = 0,001 at midle stress’ level. Discussion. It is can become reference in PBL method with competence based curricula.     Introduction. Dysmenorhea is pain that feel during fi rst or second day in menstruation cycles. The purpose of this study was to identify the infl uence of healthy menstruation packet to dysmenorhea that feel by adolescent in Patra Mandiri 1High School Palembang. Method. This study used experiment study with pre-post test with control group design. Total samples were acquired by non probability sampling with simple sampling. Total samples of this study were 34 respondents with 17 respondents in intervention group and 17 respondents in control group. Instrument of this study used questionnaires and observation. Result. This study showed that there was difference of dysmenorhea before and after did healthy menstruation packet in intervention group (p value=0,000). Discussion.     WATERMELON FRUIT (CITRULLUS VULGARIS) AGAINST BLOOD PRESSURE FOR ELDERLY WITH HYPERTENSION

    Introduction. Hypertension is a disorder that inhibited the supply of oxygen and nutrients to the body’s tissue inhibited and makes. The one of theraphy that can be used to control blood pressure is by eating watermelon regulary. The purpose of this study was to identify effectiveness watermelon fruit (Citrullus vulgaris) against blood pressure for elderly with hypertension. Methods. This study used Quasi Experimental design with pretest-posttest design. The numbers of samples were 12 people, that using total sampling as sampling tecnique. Analysis was performed by T-Test Dependent test. Result. Statistical analysis result showed there were any differences of blood pressure before and after treatment, with the average difference = systole 3.5mmHg and diastole 2.5mmHg. P = systole 0.000, diastole 0.049. Discussion. It can be concluded that there were any differences of giving watermelon for the blood pressure on samples with hypertention.     MODERN WOUND CARE MANAGEMENT IN GENERAL HOSPITAL CUT NYAK DIEN LANGSA

    Introduction: The concept of moist wound care based (moisture balance) has long been known in the world, because it has advantages such as speeding up the re-epitalisasi, retain moisture, decrease infection, the wound bed moist spending can stimulate growth factors that accelerate the wound healing process. This research aims to produce modern wound care management protocols that will run on General Hospital Langsa Cut Nyak Dien, and can be a guide to wound care by nurses in RSUCND. Method: The design used in this study was action research with one cycle. The number of participants involved were 12 people assigned to the purposive sampling method. Data collection methods are focus groups discuss, self-report (questionnaire wound care nurses' knowledge about modern and caring, nurse and patient satisfaction levels), and observation (checklist). Data collection was conducted from 26 April to 28 September 2013. Data obtained were analyzed by analysis wilcoxon. Results: Result test conducted between the pre and post show significant changes. Discussion: The recommendations can be made based on the results of this study, which has been composed POS can be run by RSUCND and this research can be continued on the next cycle. Keywords: wound care with moisture balance concepts, operational procedure

    COMMUNITY'S PERCEPTIONS AND ENTHUSIASM: EMPOWERING INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY AS MARKETING STRATEGY IN HOMECARE SERVICES

    enIntroduction: Community's Perception and enthusiasm toward homecare services becomes challenge to find out for homecare agency. An easy and effective strategy to find out is using technology information system. Methods: This study employed descriptive analysis design, in which perception and enthusiasm community were measured by completing questionnaire (r = 0.367 validity and reliability = 0.734–0.777), while data analysis uses correlation product moment and T-test. Results: Univariat analysis show perception toward homecare services within internal community results in:mean = 19.8; range 17–24, while within external community results in: mean = 19.53; range = 15–24. In other hand, enthusiasm toward homecare services within internal community results in: mean = 31.33; range= 28-36, while within external community results in: mean = 31.27; range = 26–36. Bivariat analysis result, first: Perceptions and enthusiasm internal community was associated toward homecare services (p = 0.001; r = 0.778). Second, Perceptions and enthusiasm external community was associated with homecare services (p = 0.010, r = 0.754). Thereby, no difference between internal community perception and external community perception toward homecare services (p = 0.778). Discussion: In conclusion, this study concludes that community's perception and enthusiasm was considered related to homecare services.     Introduction. Mental health problems that often appear in elderly is anxieties that happens countinously for a long time, it can make very severe exhaustion and event death. The purpose of this study was to identifi ed the correlation prayer’s regulation with level of anxiety to continue age in PSTW budhi luhur bantul. Method. The method used in this study was an analytic survey with cross sectional approach. Engineering samples were taken mainly by using purposive sampling. Test the validity used the formula koefesien biserial correlation and reliability testing using the Kuder-Richardson (KR20). Result. Statistical analysis test used the formula Kendall-Tau. This study showed that there was a correlation between regularity of prayer with the level of anxiety in the elderly in PSTW Budi Luhur Bantul shown from the value of the correlation Kendall-Tau (τ) = 0.585 with p value of 0.000. Discussion. It was recommended to PTSW Budhi Luhur Bantul more intensive to accompany elderly in pray activities.Keywords: Regularity Prayer, Anxiety, Elderly

    PHYSICAL EXERCISE TOWARDS THE CHANGING SCORE OF RISK FALLS ON ELDERLY

    Introduction. Incidence of falls in elderly whose above 65 years old in Indonesia is approximately 30-50% annually. Physical exercise might reduce the risk of fall in elderly. The purpose of this study was to determine the influence of regular physical exercise or "Senam Kebugaran Jasmani" (SKJ) towards fall risk score of elderly in Tammua, Tallo District, Makassar. Method. This study was quasi-experimental design with one group pretest-posttest design. 17 elderly people were collected by purposive sampling technically. Data processing used Paired Sample T-Test. Results. There was significant influence of regular physical exercise towards elderly fall risk score alteration (p = 0,000; eta square = 0,64). Discussion. This study revealed that there was an effect of physical exercises towards fall risk score change. This research suggests health volunteer workers (kader) of Tammua to accomodate a regular physical exercise once a week as an early prevention of falls.
