E-Learning Media for Retakers in Achieving Level of Graduation Competence Nurse Indonesia Test in South Borneo
Introduction: At present the number of students who do not pass the Indonesian Nurse Competency Test (UKNI) or as a retaker is very high. Various types of programs have been carried out but the level of graduation achievement for retakers has not achieved maximum results. This is because retakers are far from the reach of Educational Institutions, so that in the process of coaching such as tutoring becomes less intensive. Therefore, currently there is a need for distance learning media such as the E-learning method for retakers. Methods: this research used the Pre Experimental Design with One Group Pretest -posttest, with 59 samples of retakers in South Kalimantan. Data collection uses observation techniques with analysis using the Wilcoxon Test. Results: of the Wilcoxon test showed a significance value = 0,000 (<0.005), indicating that there were differences in the results of the Graduation Rate on the pretest and posttest results before and after tutoring using a smartphone-based e-Learning method. The average results of the Indonesian Nurse Competency Test followed by the retakers who were respondents in the July 2018 period were declared competent there were 16 retakers (27.1%). Conclusions: the distance learning with E-learning method that utilizes smartphone applications is very effective to be used to increase the graduation rate of retakers in UKNI. This effectiveness is also supported by the maximum interaction between educators and retakers, between retakers and various educational facilities
The Storyboard Development of Virtual Reality Simulation (VRS) of Nursing Care in Respiratory System Disorders Course
Introduction :Practicingclinical nursing skills requires high fidelity learning methods but are often constrained by financial factors. Virtual Reality Simulation (VRS) is a practical learning method that is able to project visually the experience of practicing nursing care in a virtually real situation. VRS is financially affordable and portable, allowing students to learn whenever and wherever. This study focused on developing the storyboard of a VRS as a method of practicing nursing care skills in the case of acute respiratory system infection at Faculty of Nursing, Universitas Padjadjaran. Methods: This study utilized qualitative descriptive design. An expert group consists of a paediatric nurse, a senior paediatric nursing lecturer, an e-learning expert and two VR experts was working serially to develop the case and storyboard. The case development stage was conducted using a Focus Group Discussion (FGD) and the storyboard development stage used two workshop sessions. The NLN/Jeffries Simulation was used as a framework to develop the storyboard. Results: The learning objectives, scenes, actions, challenges and redirect elements were identified. The learning objectives is the most essential foundation in building a storyboard. Conclusion: The storyboard template allows subject matter experts to develop VRS that capable to train nursing care skills in a safe and immersive environment
Effect of Attitudes, Norms, and Perception of Control of Foot Care Behavior In Patients Diabtes Melitus In Surabaya City
Introduction:Each year the incidence of diabetes has very Significantly Increased. Increased risk of foot injuries are the caused because people have attitudes, norms, and perceptions of less control over his foot care. This study Identifies and analyzes the influence attitudes, norms, and perceived control over behavior treatment in DM Patients foot. Methods: The study used observational analytic design with cross sectional approach at a time. The study population as many as 50 241 people as calculated using the technique of Cluster Obtained 185 samples diabetics. This study uses probability sampling cluster sampling approach with analysis of the Chi Square test. Intsrument questionnaire used in this research and Foot Care Behavior TPB questionnaire the which has been tested for validity and reliability. Results: Based on statistical analysis Obtained attitude towards foot care behaviors value = 0.001 ρ (ρ <0.05), the norm of the behavior of foot care ρ value value = 0.001 (ρ <0.05), perceived behavioral control of foot care value ρ value = 0.001 (ρ <0.05) so that we can conclude the influence attitudes, norms, and perceived behavioral control in Patients with diabetic foot care. Conclusions: Foot care was right and good behavior will prevent foot ulcers in diabetic patient. Patients DM was expected to know, willing, and Able to perform behavioral treatments for further enhanced, so that people Become aware, willing and Able to do foot care behavior
Correlation of Blood Cholesterol Levels and Hypertension with The Incidence of Stroke in The Provincial Hospital of Banjarmasin
Introduction: Stroke risk factors are related to the circumstances of a person's health status, namely hypercholesterolemia (excess cholesterol levels) and hypertension (high blood pressure). Methods: A correlative descriptive analytic observational study using cross sectional approach. The number of samples taken is as many as 62 people using the Slovinformula..Statistical analysis uses Sperman Rank Test and Linear regression test. Results: The results of this study indicate that the total cholesterol level of patients from 62 samples found that normal cholesterol levels amounted to 29 people (46.8%) consisting of 12 people (19.4%) with SH and 17 people ( 27.4%) with SNH and high cholesterol levels totaling 33 people (53.2%) divided into 7 people (11.3%) with SH and 26 people (42%) with SNH. There is a significant correlation between blood cholesterol levels with stroke incidence in statistical tests with p value 0,004 (p0,05) and by using Linear regression test obtained that the correlation between blood cholesterol levels with a value of mean value hypertension 0.453 and mean 0.994 so that the most dominant with the incidence of stroke was hypertension. Conclusions: Have nothing to do with hypertension, it can be concluded here that stroke is caused by hypertension. The Suggestion is hypertension’s not only caused by cholesterol levels but there are other triggers that cause it

The number of samples used were 37 respondents. Sampling technique used in this research was the purposive sampling technique with the data analysis using chi square test. The study was done in August 2017.Results: From the statistical test results obtained p-value of 0.001 (α <0.05) with a value of contingency of 0.485.Conclusions: There was a correlation between the mother’s role and the readiness of adolescent girls in facing the change of puberty at class II and Vat the elementary school with correlation of both variables in strong and unidirectional category
A Literature Review: Stress Management in The Family of Intensive Care Patients
ABSTRACT Introduction: Intensive care unit is a unit with a complex case and a stressor strainer. When patients enter intensive care families have a variety of stressors such as rapid decision making and costs are not small. The role of nurse as educator is very important in reducing family anxiety with patients treated in intesive units. Mothers of intensive care babies feel a great deal of anxiety over their child's condition, so there needs to be a good system support for the healing of her and her baby. Various ways nurses do in reducing stress experienced by the patient's family such as good communication between nurses and families of patients with intensive care. This review aims to get a picture of stress management that can be done on the family of intensive care patients. Methods: A literature review was conducted in the fields of ebscho, sience direct, elseiver, sage journals, scopus, and proquest, limited the range of the last 10 years from 2007-2017. The final sample included 18 articles. Results: The literature found that the causes of family stressors include rapid decision-making, fear of family emergency conditions, maintenance costs and length of care. Good communication and good information and skill support can decrease the stress experienced by intensive care patients' families. Conclussions: Intensive care is a unit with high complexity, unstable conditions and sophisticated technology. Conditions that require rigorous monitoring not only cause stressors for the patient, but become a stressor for the patient's family
