Abstract
Ziel dieses Papers ist es, einen Beitrag zur Diskussion, um die Nutzung von Technik in Musiktherapie und Public Health zu leisten. Der Fokus liegt auf der Interaktion von Mensch und Computer und der Co-Creation von psychischer Gesundheit. Eine grundlegende Theorie soll für die Förderung der psychischen Gesundheit und des Wohlbefindens werben. Neben der Erläuterung möglicher therapeutischer Dynamiken, die auftauchen können, wenn digitale Technologien einbezogen werden, werden zwei Fall-Skizzen angeführt. Diese verbildlichen die Interaktionen von Jugendlichen mit digitalen Musiktechnologien. Die Diskussion beinhaltet die Betrachtungen in Bezug auf die Akteur-Netzwerk-Theorie, Agency (Handlungsmacht) und die Affordanztheorie. Es wird argumentiert, dass das iPad als durchaus wertvoller Co-Akteur im Akteur-Netzwerk betrachtet werden sollte, mit der Funktion, die psychische Gesundheit von Jugendlichen zu verbessern.The purpose of this paper is to contribute to the discussion of technology in music therapy and public health, focusing on the human–computer interaction and the cocreation of mental health. Foundational theory explaining the possible therapeutic dynamics that can occur when engaged in digital technology is presented, along with two case vignettes that illustrate how adolescents interact with digital music technology to promote mental health and wellbeing. The discussion includes reflections concerning actor-network theory, agency, and affordance-theory, and it argues that the iPad should be considered a valuable co-agent in the agent-network functioning to promote adolescents’ mental health

Løsningen på dette problemet kan være å dyrke planter vertikalt istedenfor horisontalt. For å undersøke hvor effektivt vertikalt jordbruk kan være, må også den endrede tyngdekraftens effekt på plantene undersøkes. Nettopp dette har blitt undersøkt i dette forsøket. Vil forskjellig påvirkning fra tyngdekraften ha en innvirkning på karsens lengdevekst? For å undersøke dette, ble karse plantet henholdsvis normalt, vertikalt og opp ned. Resultatene tyder på at det er ingen forskjeller om plantene vokser normalt eller vertikalt. Det er først når planten blir snudd helt opp ned at tyngdekraften har en stor innvirkning på plantens vekst. Dette fører til svært liten lengdevekst hos individene
Juarke: Boys Made Men in Mboum Society
No full textThe Mboum people in Cameroon have practiced circumcision for centuries. Until recently, this practice was highly regarded as a period of initiation leading to a man\u27s status. Every year, children were sent to the bush and during their seclusion, cultural codes and knowledges of the society are taught to them. Nowadays, this tradition is dying out leading to conflict of generation between olders and youngters, specially those who are born and raised outside of their community. Through a discussion between Hamidou the old a his grand child and by following a group of five children during their period of initiation, the film shows how circumcision is performed and explains its meaning among the Mboum people. It also shows that, despite social changes and external pressures (urbanisation, modernisation and health issues etc.) efforts are made to keep the social order resulting from this practice

No full textThe short documentary "Memory Is Not About the Past" aims to understand how members of the so-called Third Generation East, individuals who experienced the fall of the Berlin Wall as children or young adolescents, remember East Germany 26 years after reunification. The field of research is the city of Berlin and all its former East German districts. Walking, as a performative practice, is at the centre of this ethnographic journey. With every step, the individuals reclaim their childhood neighbourhood and, at the same time, position themselves in the present. The urban space functions as a sounding board of the individual\u27s inner thoughts and embodied experiences and is closely intertwined with stories of former communal solidarity, social change and an underlying level of estrangement from these areas
How Do You Play When You’re Prey? A Personal Exploration into Black Creative Healing

Kreativität ist eng in die Schwarze Kultur Amerikas verwoben. Unsere Geschichten, all die Kämpfe, die wir als Minderheit einer afrikanischen Diaspora erlitten haben, wurden aufgezeichnet in Songs, Geschichten, Bewegung und Design. Auf diese Art werden sie bis heute weitergegeben. Wir sind – und waren immer – Erschaffer einer sich ständig entwickelnden Kultur, die von der dominanten Kultur zugleich unterschätzt und begehrt wird. Wir werden von ihr ausgebeutet und ausgenutzt bis zu einem Punkt der Auslöschung. Und obwohl dieses Anderssein eine reale und erdrückende Bedrohung für uns und unsere Existenz darstellt, kreieren wir immer weiter. Aber warum? Was bedeutet Kreativität den Schwarzen Amerikanern, die in dieser Raubtiergesellschaft leben? Und wie gehe ich, als Angehöriger der Schwarzen kreativen Minderheit in den Gesundheitsberufen, damit um? Wie hat man sich zu verhalten, wenn man die „Beute“ in der Raubtiergesellschaft darstellt? Diese Fragen bildeten die Basis für eine heuristische Studie im Rahmen des Video-Blog-Projekts „Black Creative Healing“. Hier finden sich Gespräche und Austausch kreativer Schwarzer zu Konzepten, die verknüpft sind mit Schwarz-Sein, Kreativität und Heilungsprozessen. Mithilfe kunstbasierter Analysen bereits zurückliegender Kollaborationen, welche öffentlich auf Youtube einsehbar sind, untersuche ich, als Schwarzer Heiler, meine eigenen Motivationen, Inspirationen und die Hürden auf dem Weg zum kreativen Prozess. Ich hinterfrage die Richtungen und Absichten, die mir durch mein kreatives Bemühen aufgezeigt werden. Ich versuche ein zentrales Ethos zu definieren, in welchem sich auch andere kreative Schwarze wiederfinden und welches sie bestärkt. Ziel soll es sein, eine Balance zu finden zwischen dem „ich“, das Opfer war und ist - und dem „ich“, das einzig das Spiel kennt – und für dieses bekannt ist. Creativity is woven into the culture of Black America. Our histories and struggles as members of the minoritized African Diaspora are recorded and passed on in song and story, in movement and design. We are – and have been – the creators of an evolving culture that is simultaneously underestimated and desired by dominant culture. This othering poses real and pressing threats to our lives and livelihoods, as we are consumed and exploited to the point of erasure; and yet we keep creating. But why? What is creativity to the Black American living in such a predatory society? And how do I, as a Black creative minoritized in a Healing profession, engage with it? How do you play when you’re prey? These questions form the basis for an heuristic exploration into a video blog project entitled “Black Creative Healing,” where Black creatives are recorded engaging in conversation and collaboration over concepts relating to Blackness, Creativity, and the Healing process. Through arts-based analysis of past collaborations, available publicly on Youtube, I will investigate my own motivations, inspirations and roadblocks to the creative process as a Black healer. I will interrogate the directions and intentions laid bare by my creative endeavors and seek to define a central ethos by which other Black creatives may find themselves seen and encouraged, in the interest of finding balance between the “me” that is – and has been – prey, and the “me” that has only ever known – and been known by – play.

La creatività è intrinseca nella cultura dell\u27America nera. Le nostre storie e lotte come membri della diaspora africana minoritaria, sono registrate e tramandate in canzoni e storie, in movimento e modello. Siamo - e siamo stati - i creatori di una cultura in evoluzione che è simultaneamente sottovalutata e desiderata dalla cultura dominante. Questa cultura pone minacce reali e pressanti sulle nostre vite e sui nostri mezzi di sussistenza, poiché siamo consumati e sfruttati fino al punto di essere cancellati; eppure continuiamo a creare. Ma perché? Che cos\u27è la creatività per i neri americani che vivono in una società così predatrice? E come faccio, in quanto creativo nero e minoritario, a occuparmene in una professione di guarigione? Come giochi quando sei preda? Queste domande costituiscono la base per un\u27esplorazione euristica in un progetto di video blog intitolato "Black Creative Healing", in cui i creativi neri vengono registrati mentre conversano e collaborano su concetti relativi a Nerezza, Creatività e processi di Guarigione. Attraverso l\u27analisi artistica di passate collaborazioni, disponibili pubblicamente su Youtube, indagherò le mie motivazioni, ispirazioni e ostacoli al processo creativo come guaritore Nero. Interrogherò le direzioni e le intenzioni messe a nudo dai miei sforzi creativi, e cercherò di definire un ethos centrale attraverso il quale altri creativi Neri possano trovarsi guardati e incoraggiati, nell\u27interesse di trovare l\u27equilibrio tra il "me" che è - ed è stato - preda, e il "me" che ha sempre conosciuto - ed è stato conosciuto per – il gioco. Legislation on the offence of rape in Icelandic criminal law
Get PDFIn recent years the concept of rape has been frequently discussed in Iceland. The chapter on sexual offences in the Icelandic General Penal Code (GPC) was revised in its entirety in 1992 and 2007, and important amendments were made on the provision on rape, section 194 of the GPC. The amendments in 2007 included a new, broad definition of the concept of rape, which was intended to cover all incidents where sexual intercourse or other sexual relations were performed against the victim’s will. In 2018 amendments were made on section 194 on rape, where the word “consent” was included in the provision. This does not constitute a substantive change since lack of consent was already an underlying element of the provision due to the amendments in 2007. The article addresses the academic discussion and societal views that were the precursor of these amendments, evaluates the current provision and discusses whether further amendments are needed.  
Flerstemmighet i veiledningssamtaler? En kasusstudie om triadisk FoU-veiledning i grunnskolelærerutdanningen
Get PDFFoU-veiledning er en veiledningssituasjon i norsk grunnskolelærerutdanning (GLU) som er viet liten oppmerksomhet i forskning. Formålet med studien er å få innsikt i samhandlingen der studenter, praksislærer og universitetslærer deltar i triadisk FoU-veiledning. Det er økende behov for triadisk samhandling i norsk lærerutdanning, og FoU-veiledning har potensial til å imøtekomme dette. Veiledningssamtaler analyseres for å gi svar på hva som preger samhandlingen mellom studenter, praksislærer og universitetslærer i FoU-veiledningen sett i lys av Bakhtins perspektiver på flerstemmighet. Analysen er inspirert av konstant komparativ metode, og viser at sterke lærerutdannerstemmer, begrenset mangfold og et uklart triadisk «vi» preger samhandlingen. Jeg problematiserer om triadisk veiledning faktisk fungerer som en flerstemmig møteplass for utvikling av ny kunnskap.R&D mentoring is a new mentoring concept in Initial Teacher Education in Norway, which has received little attention in research. The purpose of this research is to analyse mentoring conversations to gain insight into triadic interactions among students, one school-based mentor and one university lector participating in R&D mentoring. Analysis of the mentoring conversations is inspired by the constant comparative method, and interactions are interpreted in light of Bakhtin’s perspectives on multivocality. The analysis shows that strong teacher educator voices, limited diversity and a vague triadic “we” characterise interactions. I query whether the pattern of interaction gives reason to ask whether triadic mentoring essentially functions as a multivocal meeting place for developing new knowledge
