Es wird durch seine dichotomische Denkweise ermoglicht and hat keine Synthese, somit verhalt es sich wie die Gegensatzpaare "Sprache als Gestaltung" contra "Sprache als Mitteilung", "Vers" contra "prosaischer Sprachgebrauch", "Wortgestalt" contra "Phrase". Zweitens : Seine aphoristischen Ausdrucke bergen durch die, "mechanische Umdrehung von Redensarten" eine andere Weltanschauung in sich als die, die die Redensarten bzw. Sprichworter, Phrasen gemeinhin darbieten konnen. Drittens : In diesen zwei charakteristischen Kunsttechniken kristallisiert sich im hochsten MaBe die "Isolierbarkeit" des Textes, in der eine nicht kontextgebunde, sondern "naturanotwendig" aneinandergebundene Sprach-Welt konstruiert wird. It was generally believed that Jane Austen was a writer of conservative ideology with little relation to revolutionary feminism, though she was a contemporary of the famous feminist predecessor Mary Wollstonecraft. One of the reasons for this is because Jane Austen did not refer to her nor did she directly describe feminist ideology anywhere in her novels or her letters, Since the rise of the feminist literary criticism in the 1970s, feminist approaches have come to be adopted in the literary criticisms of Jane Austen and her works. With this, her close ideological relationship with Wollstonecraft has also become a focus of attention. Influence of a Japanese Teacher's Beliefs Regarding Students in TJSL : Exploratory Action Research
Get PDFThis paper analyzes the influences on a Japanese teacher's beliefs regarding students in TJSL. The teacher and the students exchanged comments about the topic of the class by e-mail every week. The e-mails were analyzed to see how the teacher's and the students' beliefs changed during the term. At first, the students' beliefs were restricted to comments such as "A Japanese teacher's job is just teaching Japanese." By the end of the course, however, their beliefs had more variety, and included comments on course design, and the need for consideration of the wider needs of learners of Japanese, etc. The teacher's priorities also changed, from an emphasis on teaching a large amount of information, to an emphasis on drawing out and developing the students' abilities. By exchanging e-mails with students, the teacher came to realize that that they were reflecting on the topics of lectures, deepening their interests and developing questions by themselves, and this caused her to change her attitude toward the class. The conclusion of this research is that influence was mutual, not simply and one-sidedly from the teacher to the students. Early people were interested in astronomical phenomena, and they regarded them as ill omens. In this paper, I have listed the descriptions of comets and other celestial matter and tried to explain the feeling of early people towards astronomical phenomena. I have also quoted from various sources to show the still-enduring beliefs as described in the Peterborough Chronicle. A Study on the Influence of Teacher's Verbal Guidance on Pupil's Emotional Functions
Get PDFHow do the pupils accept teachers' words of guidance? The purpose of this paper is to study the influence of teachers' verbal guidance on pupil's consciousness ( of emotions and enthusiasm). Although speech (language) is the fastest method of communication between people, it is not the only means of communication. We usually have two means of communication in human interaction, that is verbal communication and nonverbal communication. This is the same with pupil or student guidance. Nonverbal message (e.g., facial expressions, the tone of their voice, and gestures to create an atmosphere) is especially important in pupil guidance, because the teachers frequently appeal to their feelings rather than to their reason. Teachers' wishes and expectations are conveyed to pupils in a variety of subtle ways which have a powerful influence in growing or losing their enthusiasm and confidence in regard to learning activities. However, it is neither possible nor desirable to expect the same level of emotional response from all pupils as they all have different abilities and different individual interests. Motivation of the individual toward suitable goals is a fundamental element in pupil guidance.
