Improving the Quality of Early Childhood Education through Flipped Classroom Approach and SWOT Evaluation
The community service program at KB-TK Aisyiyah Wonoayu aims to improve the quality of early childhood education by integrating the flipped classroom model and SWOT analysis for institutional development. The implementation method includes problem identification, socialization, training of principals and teachers, application of technology, mentoring, and evaluation. It begins with a SWOT analysis to identify the strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats of the school, which guides the design and implementation of the flipped classroom approach tailored to the needs of the school. Teachers are drilled to develop open modules based on flippedclassroom that allow students to learn at home through videos and engage in interactive classroom activities. The results of the study showed a 100% increase in the performance of the principal, marked by the success of the SWOT analysis and the revision of the school's vision and mission. In addition, 90% of teachers experienced an increase in the development of teaching modules and the use of AI technology and flipped classroom applications. The sustainability of this program is expected to support principals in preparing the 2025/2026 school program and maintaining the flipped classroom as an effective learning strategy, thereby increasing school competitivenes
TRANSFORMATION OF QUR’AN STUDY METHODOLOGY IN INDONESIA: FROM ORAL TRADITION TO WRITTEN INTERPRETATION
Qur’anic studies in Indonesia have undergone significant methodological transformations, evolving from oral traditions to written interpretations. This study addresses the scholarly gap regarding the lack of integrated analyses that holistically examine the traditions of Qur’anic recitation, writing, and interpretation in the Indonesian context. Employing a qualitative method through desk research, this study critically engages with both primary and secondary sources, including classical and contemporary tafsir works, standardized Indonesian mus}h}af editions, and academic journal articles. The findings reveal that the evolution of Qur’anic studies in Indonesia has been shaped by the interplay between local cultures and global Islamic traditions. Oral transmission methods such as Baghdadiyah and nagham characterized the early phase which gradually transitioned into written forms exemplified by the production of standardized mus}h}af manuscripts such as Mushaf Bahriyyah, Bombay, Braille, and Sign Language editions which aim to ensure both accessibility and authenticity. In terms of interpretation, prominent Indonesian scholars such as Abdur Rauf Singkili, HAMKA, and M. Quraish Shihab have developed context-based approaches tailored to socio-cultural realities. This study concludes that Qur’anic studies in Indonesia are dynamic, continually adapting to technological, cultural, and social changes. However, further research is necessary to explore interdisciplinary interpretive approaches involving gender, ecology, and socio-political issues. Strengthening contextual and thematic interpretations will enhance the role of the Qur’an as a responsive and transformative source of guidance for contemporary Indonesian Muslim society
Analisis Hubungan Jarak Rumah dengan Angka Kepadatan Lalat di Lingkungan Peternakan Ayam Petelur
The existence of vectors is still a problem regarding the status and level of health in Indonesia. In Mayang Village, there is a chicken farm that is located less than 250 meters from the residential area. The location of the chicken farm that is not in accordance with the housing will have an impact on the very high density of flies in the enviromental. This research is a quantitative research, analytical research design and cross sectional design, because it aims to analyze the relationship between house distance and fly density levels as well as an observational approach. The population of this study was 409 and a sample of 80 houses was obtained using the Slovin formula. Measuring fly density is done using a fly grill tool. The research results fly density measurements were carried out in zone 2 for 47 houses (58.8%). The low category was found by 37 (46.3%). The existence of a relationship between the distance from the house and the level of fly density can be shown by the significance value of p-value (0.000) and CC (0.641) which means a strong relationship, meaning that the closer the house is to the farm, the higher the fly density. Based on the research results, for people who want to build a livestock business, they must choose a location for the pen that is far from residential areas, in accordance with the SOP, namely a minimum of 250 meters, so as not to reduce environmental quality
Impact of Slow Stroke Back Massage on Blood Pressure Among Individuals With Primary Hypertension: A Quasi-Experimental Study
Introduction: Hypertension is a major global health issue contributing significantly to cardiovascular morbidity and mortality. In Indonesia, the increasing prevalence of hypertension highlights the need for effective, low-cost, non-pharmacological interventions, such as Slow Stroke Back Massage (SSBM), which may offer physiological and psychological benefits. Objectives: This study aimed to determine the effect of Slow Stroke Back Massage on reducing systolic and diastolic blood pressure among individuals with primary hypertension. Methods: A quasi-experimental study using a non-equivalent control group pretest-posttest design was conducted. Participants aged 40–70 years with primary hypertension were purposively selected and divided into intervention and control groups. The intervention group received SSBM once daily for three consecutive days, while the control group received standard care. Blood pressure measurements were recorded before and after intervention using calibrated digital sphygmomanometers. Data were analyzed using paired and independent t-tests. Results: The intervention group experienced a significant reduction in both systolic (from 150.2 ± 10.5 mmHg to 137.6 ± 9.8 mmHg) and diastolic (from 95.8 ± 6.2 mmHg to 87.3 ± 5.6 mmHg) blood pressure (p < 0.001). No statistically significant changes were observed in the control group. These results support the efficacy of SSBM as an adjunctive therapy in hypertension management. Conclusions: SSBM is an effective, low-cost, and non-invasive complementary intervention for lowering blood pressure in patients with primary hypertension. It can be integrated into nursing care practices, especially in primary healthcare settings, to enhance hypertension management outcomes
Profil Kepemimpinan Kepala Madrasah terhadap Implementasi Kurikulum Merdeka pada Pembelajaran Matematika ditinjau dari Behavioral Theory
This study aims to describe the leadership role of the madrasah principal in implementing the Merdeka Curriculum in mathematics learning at MAN 1 Probolinggo, based on the Behavioral Theory approach, which includes two main dimensions: initiating structure and consideration. The research uses a descriptive qualitative approach with data collected through in-depth interviews, observations, and documentation. The findings show that in the initiating structure step, the principal builds a structured and systematic work system. This is reflected in the preparation of the School Operational Curriculum (KOSP), the formation of a curriculum development team, supervision of the preparation of teaching tools, and the provision of supporting facilities for mathematics learning. Meanwhile, in the consideration dimension, the principal demonstrates concern for teachers’ emotional well-being through open communication, support for innovation, and the creation of safe and reflective spaces for teachers. These two dimensions complement each other in creating conducive work environment that supports the achievement of learning objectives within the Merdeka Curriculum. Thus, the principal demonstrates a transformative leadership profile capable of balancing technical and relational aspects in managing curriculum change
Strengthening Public Trust through Zoning Policies in Student Admissions
This study evaluates the implementation of zoning policies in new student admissions (PPDB), especially its role in strengthening public trust in education policies. This study uses a qualitative approach with a case study design. Data were collected through interviews, observations, and documentation. Data analysis was carried out through three main stages: data reduction, data presentation, and verification, which refers to the Miles and Huberman approach. The study results indicate that the zoning policy has succeeded in increasing educational accessibility, especially for students from low socio-economic groups, with a more equitable distribution. However, technical challenges, such as limited technological literacy in the community and the need for more effective socialization, are still significant obstacles. Assistance posts in schools have proven to be an effective solution in increasing public understanding of this policy. Adjusting the zone radius based on school capacity is a strategic step to overcome the imbalance in the number of applicants. The implications of this study emphasize the importance of a multi-channel communication approach, strengthening community technological literacy, transparency in the implementation of education policies, and resources as considerations.
Refining Gen Z Listening Strategies with Spotify: A Comprehensive Guide
In an era marked by rapid technological advancement, honing effective listening skills is increasingly crucial for accurately absorbing information. To address this need, the current generation, particularly Gen Z'ers, can leverage contemporary applications like Spotify, a widely utilized music platform. Spotify offers global access to a vast library of music, serving as a valuable tool for enhancing listening abilities. This study investigates the impact of Spotify on the listening strategies of Gen Z'ers at UIN Antasari Banjarmasin, focusing on their independent learning practices and listening strategies while using the app. Employing Narrative Inquiry as the research method, interviews were conducted for data collection, with subsequent analysis using narrative analysis techniques. Findings revealed significant improvements in Gen Z'ers' metacognitive listening strategies across 5 categories including selective attention, directed attention, comprehension monitoring, real-time assessment of input, and comprehension evaluation after engaging with English songs utilized by participants, aiding in comprehension of complex English lyrics
Expert System for Skin Disease Diagnosis Using the Best First Search Method and Fuzzy Tsukamoto
The skin is the largest organ and is vulnerable to various diseases, which can spread through direct contact or the environment. Skin diseases are among the ten most common conditions in outpatient care in Indonesia, often caused by poor hygiene and environmental exposure. The limited number of dermatologists makes diagnosing and treating skin diseases more challenging. This study develops an expert system for diagnosing skin diseases using the Best First Search method and Fuzzy Tsukamoto, serving as an alternative or complement to medical diagnosis. Best First Search prioritizes diagnoses based on predefined rules, while Fuzzy Tsukamoto adds flexibility in assessing disease severity. Testing shows that the system achieves an accuracy of 83.3%, demonstrating its potential to assist patients and medical professionals in improving diagnostic efficiency and healthcare quality for skin diseases
Planning of Solar Power Plant SMA LabSchool UPGRIS with PV*SOL
The increase in the use of electrical energy is increasing in the development of technology at this time. At present in Indonesia, power plants still use non-renewable energy sources that will eventually run out. The purpose of this study is to provide a source of electricity with solar energy sources, so that dependence on PLN electricity can be reduced. The method used is planning and simulating using PV*SOL software. The planned location for the installation of Solar Power Plant (SPP) is in the Gayamsari District, Semarang City, Central Java. The location of the SMA Building has an area of 1773 m2 with coordinates of Latitude -6.9830564° N, 110.4494686 ° E. In the planning, the stages are determining the location of the PLTS, identifying solar radiation intensity data, identifying electrical load data, determining solar panel capacity, determining battery capacity, determining inverter capacity, and determining the capacity of the Solar Charge Controller (SCC). The planned SPP operates in an off-grid system. In carrying out this planning with stages. The results of the study showed that the amount of daily electricity consumption was 18,402 Wh and the electricity consumption for one month was 552,060 Wh. The simulation showed that solar panels effectively produced an average of 1300 kWh of electricity. The production of large solar panels occurred from April to October, with an average energy of 130 kWh. The results of the study showed that the amount of electricity consumption was large but could be served by solar power plants
Classification Of Mustard Leaf Diseases Using Convolutional Neural Network Architecture
Diseases in mustard leaves can reduce productivity if not detected early. This study aims to develop and evaluate a disease classification system for mustard leaves using Convolutional Neural Network (CNN) architectures, specifically Xception and VGG19, while comparing their performance in terms of accuracy and computational efficiency. The mustard leaf image dataset undergoes preprocessing before being used for model training and testing. Experimental results show that Xception achieves the highest validation accuracy of 99% with better loss stability compared to VGG19, which attains 94.50% accuracy but exhibits greater fluctuation. In terms of time efficiency, VGG19 reaches optimal accuracy faster and completes the training process in 42 seconds, whereas Xception requires more epochs and a training time of 50 seconds. Therefore, Xception is recommended for classification tasks that demand high accuracy and stability, while VGG19 is more suitable for rapid detection with a slight trade-off in accuracy stability
