THE FUTURE OF EDUCATION IN THE DIGITAL ERA: BETWEEN TECHNOLOGICAL INNOVATION AND EQUITABLE ACCESS
Get PDFAdvances in information and communication technology (ICT) have had a significant impact on the education system, including in Indonesia. Learning can now take place without the constraints of time and space through the use of online platforms, digital classrooms, and the application of cutting-edge technologies such as the Internet of Things (IoT), blockchain, and the metaverse. However, expanding access to technology has not fully aligned with improving the quality of education. Digital inequality remains a major issue, encompassing limitations in network infrastructure, device availability, and the ability of educators and students to utilize technology optimally. The purpose of this article is to examine how technology is transforming education, considering aspects of access and equity; to examine their interrelationships; and to examine the implications for education. and suggests approaches to make technology-based education more inclusive and equitable. This study uses a descriptive approach to examine the relationship between justice, technology, and educational quality, based on the perspectives of several researchers, such, The results of the discussion indicate that educational technology is not entirely neutral, as it contains specific values, interests, and power structures. Therefore, the application of justice-oriented technology pedagogy needs to be developed so that educators are able to understand and assess technology not only from a functional perspective but also from its social and ethical implications. To realize a just and sustainable digital educational transformation, a comprehensive strategy is needed, including improving teacher competency, equitable distribution of technological infrastructure, providing open learning resources, and cross-sectoral collaboration between the government, higher education institutions, and technology providers. Thus, technology can play a role as an instrument to strengthen justice, quality, and inclusiveness in education in Indonesia
ANALYSIS OF ISLAMIC EDUCATION POLICY AND PROBLEMS
Get PDFEducation is a key pillar in human resource development in Indonesia. However, the quality of education still faces various challenges, such as unequal access and low teaching quality. This study aims to analyze the education policies implemented by the government to improve the quality of education in Indonesia. Using a qualitative approach, the policy analysis was conducted to identify factors influencing the effectiveness of the policies and their impact on society. The analysis shows that despite the existence of programs such as compulsory education and teacher competency improvement, the gap between formulated policies and their implementation remains a major problem. Therefore, a more inclusive and participatory approach to education policy formulation is needed to ensure that each policy adopted addresses local needs and improves the overall quality of education. Islamic education in Indonesia faces a number of complex and diverse problems. This article uses a qualitative research approach to gain a deeper understanding of these issues. Through literature review, stakeholder interviews, and participant observation in Islamic education settings, this study uncovers key challenges, including the quality gap between formal and non-formal Islamic education, the lack of harmonization between Islamic education and the national education system, the need to improve the competency of educators, and the challenges of technology and globalization
THE CONCEPT OF COMMUNITY-BASED ISLAMIC EDUCATION

This concept emphasizes that education is not solely the responsibility of the government but also a social and moral obligation of the community. This education is grounded in Islamic philosophical values, local wisdom, and national regulations such as Law Number 20 of 2003 and Government Regulation Number 55 of 2007. Sociologically, community-based education strengthens mutual cooperation and the relevance of education to social needs. Religiously, this education encourages the development of a knowledgeable and beneficial generation. Thus, community-based Islamic education plays a crucial role in strengthening Islamic identity, increasing community participation, and realizing equitable and civilized education
INTERNALIZING ISLAMIC VALUES IN PREVENTING BULLYING BEHAVIOR IN SCHOOLS
Get PDFBullying is a serious and frequent problem in schools, affecting the well-being of students and the environment, both physically, emotionally, and even socially. This incident must be addressed immediately to prevent school concerns during school activities. This study aims to prevent bullying cases in schools by internalizing Islamic religious values. By naming the feeling of loving each other and fostering noble character. This method uses a case study approach which is one of the research methodologies. In this case study, researchers must conduct a more thorough analysis of an event, in the form of individuals and groups. In addition to collecting data, researchers also observe and interview and understand the event holistically. The results of the study show that Islamic values provide a strong foundation for bullying cases, thus creating a safe, inclusive, and civilized learning environment. By consistently understanding and deepening Islamic values, students are also able to apply student character and tolerance attitudes so as to maintain relationships with each other, by providing examples of the attitudes of the prophets and Islamic figures. The application of Islamic religious values is also able to create a school environment that. Thus, concrete steps in internalizing religious values to prevent bullying cases involving all related parties, as well as evaluating the effectiveness of prevention strategies, can create a school environment based on the principles of justice, compassion and equality
INTEGRATION OF THE CURRICULUM OF LOVE IN MADRASAH THROUGH HUMANISTIC AND MEANINGFUL CHEMISTRY LEARNING
Get PDFThis study explores the integration of the Curriculum of Love within madrasah education through the implementation of humanistic and meaningful chemistry learning. The Curriculum of Love emphasizes compassion, empathy, and moral awareness as core values in developing students’ holistic character. Using a qualitative descriptive approach, this research investigates how chemistry learning often viewed as abstract and formulaic can be transformed into a medium for nurturing love for God, humanity, and nature. Data were collected through classroom observations, interviews with teachers, and document analysis. The findings reveal that the integration of love-based values is effectively achieved when teachers design contextual learning experiences that connect chemical concepts with real life moral and environmental issues. Humanistic approaches such as dialogue, reflection, and cooperative learning foster students’ affective engagement, while meaningful learning strategies enhance their understanding and appreciation of chemistry as a manifestation of divine order. The study concludes that embedding the Curriculum of Love within chemistry learning strengthens both cognitive mastery and emotional-spiritual intelligence, supporting the broader goal of madrasah education to produce knowledgeable and compassionate individuals

This article explores the role of Islamic Religious Education (IRE) in shaping a resilient, well-characterized, and adaptive Muslim generation in the face of global change. The method employed is library research by analyzing various recent and relevant scholarly journals. The findings indicate that IRE plays a strategic role in character building, strengthening moral and spiritual resilience, and enhancing the competitiveness of Muslim youth through contextual curriculum approaches, innovative teaching methods, and synergy among schools, families, and communities. This study recommends strengthening Islamic values through curriculum reform, developing teacher professionalism, and utilizing digital technology in a moderate and purposeful manner
Implementation of Blue Ocean Strategy in Strengthening Madrasah Competitiveness
Get PDFCompetition between educational institutions in the Industrial Revolution 4.0 era is increasingly fierce, requiring every school/madrasah to undertake strategic efforts to develop sustainable excellence. Research at Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Negeri 1 Kota Bandung (MIN 1 Bandung) aims to examine the implementation of the Blue Ocean Strategy (BOS) as a strategic approach to strengthening the quality and competitiveness of madrasahs. The research used a qualitative case study approach with in-depth interviews with the madrasah principal, teachers, and the madrasah committee, participant observation, and documentation. The results show that MIN 1 Bandung implemented various value-innovation measures in the form of differentiation of Islamic-modern educational services, development of flagship programs, optimization of limited resources, and stakeholder synergy. The implementation of BOS supported an increase in student enrollment, achievement, and the image of the madrasah, despite still being hampered by limited funds and land. The implications of this research include recommendations for strengthening human resource capacity, utilizing technology, and institutionalization. the process of creating blue oceans
Strategic Management in Developing Inclusive Teacher Career Paths: Optimizing Potential and Performance in Educational Institutions

The aim of this research is to improve the potential, motivation, and performance of educators in educational institutions. Data were collected using descriptive qualitative methods through observations, interviews, and documentary research with principals, teachers, and management staff. The research shows that strategic management, which encompasses the steps of planning, implementing, evaluating, and adjusting strategies, has the potential to create a directed, equitable, and sustainable career system. Performance-based reward systems, mentoring, and training provide all teachers with equal opportunities to develop in inclusive career paths. This approach enhances the competitiveness and quality of educational institutions, in addition to improving teacher satisfaction and professionalism. Challenges such as lack of digitalization, limited resources, and fear of change still need to be addressed. Therefore, strategic management is an essential foundation for humanistic, inclusive, and sustainable standards-oriented teacher career management
The Bibliometric Analysis of Public-Private Partnership in the Field of Education
Get PDFThis study explores the evolving role of Public-Private Partnerships (PPP) in the education sector, with a focus on their impact on infrastructure development and educational practices. The research aims to identify key trends in PPP-related education research from 2000 to 2023, shedding light on the shift from infrastructure-focused projects to more innovative approaches involving pedagogy, digital inclusion, and educational policy. Previous studies have primarily concentrated on infrastructure development and the financial implications of PPP, while the effects on educational quality and technology integration remain underexplored. This study employs bibliometric analysis using data from the Publish or Perish software to analyze academic articles, citation patterns, and key thematic trends within the field of PPP in education. Findings reveal a significant shift towards discussions on pedagogical innovation, digital inclusion, and the alignment of PPP projects with educational policy. The research emphasizes the growing role of PPP in transforming educational environments through strategic collaboration. These findings provide valuable insights into how future PPP can better support equitable and effective education systems, with implications for policymakers, educators, and stakeholders in education reform
TRANSFORMATION OF PESANTREN ECONOMIC MANAGEMENT TOWARD SELF-RELIANCE BASED ON LOCAL WISDOM
Get PDFIslamic boarding schools (pesantren) play a strategic role not only as centers for education and da'wah but also as key drivers of community economic development. However, many pesantren still rely heavily on donations and external subsidies, which hinders the achievement of true financial independence. This study aims to analyze the transformation of pesantren economic management toward self-reliance based on local wisdom, with a case study on the Badan Usaha Milik Pesantren (BUMPES) Nurul Jadid.This research employs a qualitative approach with data collection techniques including observation, interviews, and document analysis. The findings reveal that BUMPES Nurul Jadid implements a strategy of business diversification based on local potential, strengthening sharia-based governance, and utilizing technology in production and marketing. These measures enable the pesantren to generate stable and sustainable income sources.Local wisdom plays a crucial role in ensuring the sustainability of the pesantren economy by upholding the values of honesty, mutual cooperation (gotong royong), and prudent use of local resources. This transformation not only fosters the economic independence of the pesantren but also contributes to the welfare of the surrounding community. Therefore, an economic model based on local wisdom offers an effective solution for building independent and competitive pesantren without compromising Islamic values
