Religious lifestyle is the lifestyle of religious believers who restrict their behaviors according to the provisions of religious teachings. It can be regarded as a special combination of social groups -- the lifestyle of religious believers. At the same time, it has one side consistent with secular life style. In 1898, the construction of the Middle East Railway opened a huge “social revolution” for Harbin, China, which rapidly rose from a traditional natural village to a modern metropolis in Northeast Asia within a short period of one or two decades. As the city opened its own port for trade, a large number of immigrants from Russia, Japan, the United States, France, Britain, Germany and other countries poured into the city. The Middle East Railway became the carrier of migration of immigrants, and immigrants became the media for the spread of religious beliefs. Foreign religions were brought to Harbin, which formed a special and main content of Harbin life style

    Get PDF
With the development of mobile Internet technology, short-video social media with the characteristics of lower costs, wider dissemination, stronger interactive capabilities, and more precise marketing positioning, has gradually entered people’s world. Douyin is currently one of the most influential short-video social media that is becoming more and more popular with the public. Advertising placement is an increasingly frequent marketing tool used by advertisers on Douyin. In this context, it is very important to explore how users to process advertising placement in a short-video environment. This research studied the relationship between User Activity and Elaboration Participation based on the Elaboration Likelihood Model, and then infer which ELM routes were users with different activity tend to choose. In terms of specific theoretical framework, this article divided User Activity into two dimensions, User Viscosity and User Engagement, and maede them as independent variables, and constructed a cross-relationship model with two subordinate dimensions of Elaboration Participation: Scrutiny and Ads Involvement, which were regarded as dependent variables. This study adopted quantitative research methods, and SPSS24.0 as well as Office Excel 2016 was used to analyze the 158 valid data collected from the survey. Based on the data results, the following conclusions were drawn: a) User Activity is positively related to Elaboration Participation; b) User Viscosity is positively related to Ads Involvement; c) User Engagement is positively related to Ads Involvement. According to the conclusions drawn in this article, a series of theoretical and practical implications were generated, which guided both academic researchers and practitioners in short-video-related industries. At the same time, the limitations of this article and the suggestions for future researchers were also discussed simply and clearly in relevant sections

    Silk Metaphors in Chinese Characters

    Get PDF
Within the framework of cognitive linguistics, the research introduces the image-based feature of Chinese characters and explores metaphor motivations behind Chinese characters containing images of silk. By studying the existing earliest constructions of those characters and analyzing the corresponding form-meaning connections, three conceptual metaphors are put forward, namely, “LINK IS SILK”; “END IS KNOT”, and “THOUGHT IS SILK”. There are altogether seven characters with the “LINK IS SILK” motivation, and their character meanings form a coherent system in terms of different aspects of “LINK”. The metaphor “END IS KNOT” seems to be consistent with the metaphor “LINK IS SILK” and only one character is found motivated by the former. The metaphor “THOUGHT IS SILK” is reflected in the sound form and meaning connection of the Chinese character “思”,and the sound form is connected with the silk image. All the three metaphors are also reflected in Chinese words and literature, which shows the consistency of Chinese thought patterns. Comparison study with English reveals the three silk metaphors are probably specific to the Chinese language and culture.

“Problems” and “Answers” Faced by the Grassroots Governance of the CPC in Sudden Public Security Incidents: Thinking on the Prevention and Control of the COVID-19

    Get PDF
Grass roots governance is the basic unit of the national governance system. The level and effectiveness of grass-roots governance are closely related to the vital interests of the people. In COVID-19 prevention and control, the grass-roots level is in the “front line” of epidemic prevention and control, which has played a positive role in the phased victory of the COVID-19 prevention and control war. However, it also exposes the difficulties of human resources, serious deficiencies in the storage, supply and development of grass-roots risk management materials, and the lack of a mature grass-roots risk management mechanism. Therefore, we should strengthen the construction of the CPC’s grass-roots risk management team from the two aspects of “quality” and “quantity”, adjusts the supply of grass-roots risk management materials from the two perspectives of “open source” and “cost reduction”, and build a grass-roots risk management system from the two aspects of “long-term” and “effectiveness”. Build an effective emergency response mechanism for grass-roots organizations to respond to major public security incidents, and increase human resources, material support and mechanism assistance, so as to effectively improve the governance level of grass-roots organizations of the CPC to respond to major public security incidents and promote the modernization of grass-roots governance

Primary data were collected through the administration of questionnaires and interviews. The study population (10,369) comprised the National Emergency Management Agency (NEMA, 34), National Agency against Trafficking in Persons and other related crime (NAPTIP, 108), International Organisation for Migration (IOM, 34), Nigeria in Diaspora Commission (NiDCOM, 15) and Nigeria returnees (10,180) from Libya. The sample for the study was made up of 399 respondents. The distribution is as follows: NEMA (17), NAPTIP (54), IOM (16), NiDCOM (15), and returnees (297). Secondary data will be obtained from decision extracts of the agencies on matters relating to the subject matter, conciliation meetings, and internet sources. Data collected were analysed using frequency, distribution, percentage, and Chi-square. The study showed that vocational training strategies (x2= 3.11); loan facilities for the returned migrants ( x2= 3.32); provision for psychological strategies for the returnees (x2 = 3.22) are some of the strategies available which are put in place by governmental agencies for the reintegration of the returnees. Furthermore, the result of the Chi square analysis showed that the x2 cal (9.2) is greater than x2tab (5.99), hence, the rejection of the null hypothesis. Hence, the study found a significant relationship between governmental agencies’ strategies and returnees’ reintegration. The study concluded that governmental agencies strategies have effect on the reintegration the returnees

L’image des femmes chastes dans l’œuvre hagiographique d’Alfonso Vagnoni

    Get PDF
