Aspect Shift in the Model of English Eventual Prominent Projection
Get PDFAspect shift is an important reason for flexibility of syntactic structure. Present researches mainly focus on the relationship between syntactic structures and aspectual shift. From the perspective of cognitive prominence, aspect shift results from inconsistency of headed subevent between lexical and syntactic aspect for the change of aspectual prominence. Aspectual prominence is not only under the constraint of lexical conceptual structure, but it is also affected by syntactic and pragmatic context. By analyzing the aspect shift of progressive, it is found that the lexical aspectual structure of different verbs leads to prominent effect, which in turn affects aspect shift, so the syntactic or pragmatic context which aspect shift needs to have is closely related to the lexical aspectual structure

Research on Innovative Practice of Blended Intelligent Foreign Language Teaching Model Based on Unipus
Get PDFThis study adopts a combined method of quantitative and qualitative analysis to conduct a comprehensive analysis of two classes of non-English major students from a certain university in Grade 2022. It aims to understand the students’ recognition of the college English teaching model and various teaching components, and explores the impact of information technology on college English teaching, especially the implementation and effects of a blended intelligent foreign language teaching model based on the Unipus Intelligent Teaching Cloud Platform (hereinafter referred to as Unipus). Through questionnaires, interviews, and data analysis, the study reveals the weaknesses students face in the process of learning English, as well as the practical effects of the blended teaching model in promoting students’ autonomous learning, mobile learning, and inquiry-based learning. The results indicate that the blended teaching model significantly improves students’ English proficiency and enhances their motivation and autonomy in learning. It is hoped that this research will provide valuable insights for future reforms in college English teaching

Also, digital technology has become a convenient tool for evading or even violating the law, which will create obstacles to the application of rules and may even deviate from the original intention of legislation. In the application process of the “informed consent” rules, data processors should first respect the individual, provide sufficient and accurate notification and ensure the validity of the data subject’s consent. Individuals should pay attention to their important role in the implementation of the law and promote the implementation of the “informed consent” rule. Get PDFThe study, which evaluates the concept of hegemony ontologically and examines the restructuring of hegemon power by evaluating it against economic vulnerabilities, was evaluated within the context of the pressure of hegemon power on the economy by addressing the 2008 economic crisis, one of the three major crises in the history of the United States. The main problematic addressed in the article is as follows: When the economic crises were first examined, the effects created in the short term were observed by characterizing them from introversion and military engagements. In this context, it has been examined from the realist point of view of an economic and military power correlation that retains its superiority despite the impact of the economic crisis. When this situation is considered, it is an attitude that diverges its own negative interests from the approach of protectionism through interventionism. Why does hegemon power not want to use it, while it has the power to reveal its superiority by using military methods or in other words brute force? In order to find the answer to this question, it is important to first investigate which features of hegemony, and especially American Hegemony, activate and how it can use protectionism together with interventionism. According to Cox, consent in hegemony comes before coercion. In hegemonic relationships, similarities were observed between the negative feelings or interests of the power owner and those of other world states. Hegemon utilizes the ability to use the persuasion element to maintain its superiority, consolidate its leadership position and ultimately protect its own interests. In this case, it is possible for other actors in the hegemonic system to influence the system by using slightly less economic and military resources. Because the effects of hegemon power are mentioned by making use of the basic harmony of hegemonic common values and interests.In summary, it appears as a key concept to understand the functioning and change of the phenomenon of socialization in the hegemonic system in hegemonic structures. The ability to persuade legitimacy or to ensure the acceptance of a certain economic international order, in other words, the capacity to form consensus policies on the normative foundations of the system concentrated among other national elites, is the most important and perhaps the most vital aspect of hegemonic power
The Effectiveness of a Training Program Based on Cognitive Enhancement Therapy in Developing Cognitive Performance Among Children With Autism Spectrum Disorder in Jordan
Get PDFThe main purpose of the present study was to investigate the effectiveness of a training program based on cognitive enhancement therapy in developing cognitive performance among children with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) in Jordan. The sample of the study consisted of 20 participants, were divided equally into two groups: one of them experimental group and the other was control group. A scale cognitive performance was developed and used. The reliability and validity of the scale was established. The researchers used Mann-Whitney U to answer the study questions. The results showed the effectiveness of cognitive enhancement therapy in developing cognitive performance among children with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD). The study recommended adapting the therapy used as well as expanding the age of ASD cases.
