A Feminist Stylistic Analysis of Resisting Patriarchal Hegemony in Chimamanda Ngozi Adichie’s Purple Hibiscus
This study identified the forms of language of resistance in Purple Hibiscus. The feminist tools employed by the writer to portray resistance to patriarchal hegemony were examined and the writer’s representation of women characters which depict resistance was described. The study aimed primarily to examine the writer’s utilisation of feminist tools to defy hegemonic control. The study employed Mills’ concept of feminist stylistics, which is based on the analysis at the word, phrase or sentence level, and discourse level. The data for this study were obtained from primary sources. The primary data were derived from the hardcover edition of Purple Hibiscus, with relevant excerpts carefully selected and analysed, in addition to insights from five respondents who participated in the research study. The selected excerpts were analysed using specific nuances at the levels of analysis, which accounts for relevance to the thematic preoccupation of the study. The study showed that feminist tools used to resist hegemony are assertively visible, daringly bold, and brazenly defiant through the writer’s creation of women characters as bold, daring, and defiant. Additionally, the study also highlighted a contrast in the writer’s predisposition on the varied resistance strategies to patriarchal hegemony revealing that resistance does not always have to be visible and daring rather it could also manifest through subtle and non-confrontational ways, conveyed similarly through the representation of women characters. In all, the study filled some gap in the prevailing dearth of feminist stylistic research on resistance. It also indicated the need for further study to be conducted on children’s resistance to hegemonic control in the selected text by researchers
Echoes of the Blues: A Study of the Aesthetic Thoughts of the Black Arts Movement
The Black Arts Movement is also known as “the Black Aesthetic Movement” because of the distinctive aesthetic thoughts this movement advocated. During the years from 1968 to 1971, Larry Neal, Amiri Baraka, Addison Gale, Jr., Hoyt Fuller, Ron Karenga, and other key BAM members and leaders published numerous articles on black aesthetics in the periodicals such as Black Digest and Black World. The Black Aesthetic, edited by Addison Gale, Jr., contains theoretical essays by a number of BAM thinkers, many of which are recognized as seminal works of the study of BAM aesthetics. These writings cover the definition, functions, techniques, and evaluation of black aesthetics, and have become an important spiritual legacy of this movement. This paper aims to discuss the BAM aesthetics from three aspects in the light of some relevant theories and texts

Critical Statement and Analysis of Phenomenological Approach and Its Implications in Education Field
Phenomenological approach, in its highest intention, aims to understand the nature of phenomena and the quality of realizing and promoting them, as well as perceiving the existence itself as the essence of living and emergence of any phenomenon. The domain of phenomenology in this literature covers three phenomenological viewpoints: transcendental phenomenology, existential phenomenology and phenomenological understanding. We possess two types of understanding: physical (existential) understanding which is based on overwhelming our existence in absolute existence; the second type is acquirable understanding which is related to knowledge of nature (not being). Our physical science is acquired by our direct existential overwhelming in absolute existence, while our acquirable science is formed from the universe and its phenomena due to our planning perception. The applied method in the structure of article is analytical-inferential. Phenomenological implications in education field can be acquired both in inventing teaching techniques and education domain
