A New Essay on the Motif of Shakespeare’s Sonnets
About the motif of Shakespeare’s Sonnets, what prevails is that they were mainly written for Shakespeare’s friend and a dark lady. But this view is an misinterpretation of Shakespeare’s sonnets. In fact, Shakespeare’s sonnets express love and ode to truthfulness, benevolence and beauty, and eulogizes the plainness, loyalty and philanthropy derived from them by the way of personification. Besides, they castigate the falsehood, wickedness and ugliness, and enlighten the readers to identify good and evil and guide the common people to tend towards sublimity and holiness. Shakespeare’s sonnets imitate the nature and reflect the life. They are full of wisdom and philosophy, greatly enlightening and are of epoch-making significance.

Spontaneous order is the core of his entire theoretical system, throughout his entire theoretical system. This paper is a detailed exposition and explanation of the concepts of order, spontaneous order, and its development as well as the relationship with the term organization. It tries to make a most detailed, real and original interpretation of the spontaneous order
A Study on Chinese History Museum Text Translation from the Memetic Perspective: Taking the English Translation of Nanchang Relic Museum of Haihunhou State of Han Dynasty as an Example
This paper aims to probe into the English translation discourse and strategy on the basis of memetic theory. It collects and compiles publicity materials and their English translations from Nanchang Relic Museum of Haihunhou State of Han Dynasty. By applying memetic theory to classify translation memes, it analyzes translation strategies based on these classifications and identifies distinct characteristics associated with each type of meme mentioned. It also rectifies any inappropriate translations, thereby offering a new perspective for studying the museum’s promotional materials that engage translators as well as enhancing the promotion of Chinese culture worldwide
Impact of Agricultural Development Programs on Farmers’ Productivity in Dekina Local Government Area of Kogi State
Over the years, agricultural development programs of different forms have been introduced to reduce poverty to some extent at the local level. But due to a number of factors, these programs seem to have failed to realize its aims in Nigeria, and the need to encourage the programs to work is sacrosanct. It is based this that this study is undertaken. The study examined the impact of agricultural development programs on farmers’ productivity in Dekina Local Government Area of Kogi State. Specifically, it explore how policies and progrmmes packed can enhance small scale farmer’s production and the capacity to alleviate rural poverty, and promote socio-economic development. The study has its method rooted in quantitative approach using close ended questionnaire. Simple random sampling technique was used to select study participants for the study. Data obtained were analyzed descriptively on percentage tables using the Statistical Package for Social Sciences (SPSS). Findings of the study shows among others that; effect of government policy and decision on farmers were not given due recognition in decision making, though representatives of the farmers were adequately represented in decision making but yet do not have access to information on agricultural programmes which has impeded the farmers productivity in the study area. Based on these findings, the study recommends among others that; governments should make a new and expanded policy agenda for agricultural extension and communication for the local farmers, the governments will need to provide a national policy agenda on food security and income generation of the rural poor
The Potency of Consequential Validity Evidence in High-Stakes Assessment Practices
The last few years have evidently witnessed the emergence of a growing body of research that underscores the importance of investigating the impact of test use (Imsa-ard, 2020; Pan & Roever, 2016; Saglam and Tsagari, 2022; Tsagari, 2011). In many contexts, the remarkably increased reliance on high-stakes testing and standardized assessments by educational authorities and policymakers has resulted in discontent and raised disquieting concerns about the consequences of these tests for different stakeholders. In fact, this is utterly one of the leading factors to the upsurge of research studies that investigate and evaluate the impact and repercussions of test use. The present article primarily discusses the dynamic role of consequential validity in high-stakes assessment practices. Firstly, it briefly draws on the historical and theoretical background underpinning the concept of consequential validity. Secondly, it sheds light on the contentious debate revolving around it in the existing literature. Thirdly, it shortly addresses the issue of bias and unfairness in the use of testing. Fourthly, it synthesizes findings from numerous studies pertaining to the unintended consequences of high-stakes assessments. Finally, it concludes with implications for different stakeholders; future researchers, policymakers, test designers and classroom teachers.

The Impact of the Covid-19 Pandemic on the Adoption of ICT Infrastructure in Institutions of Higher Learning in Zimbabwe: The Case of Bindura University of Science Education
The impact of the COVID-19 pandemic on the adoption of Information Communication Technology (ICT) infrastructure in higher learning institutions in Zimbabwe, specifically Bindura University of Science Education (BUSE), was examined in this study. It is well-known that developing countries have slowly embraced ICTs across all sectors. The purpose of this study was to assess how the COVID-19 pandemic affected the adoption of ICT-based teaching and learning in higher learning institutions. The evidence gathered indicated that ICT-enabled platforms were reliable in facilitating teaching under the restrictions imposed by COVID-19. Consequently, the study further focused on the ICT tools adopted by BUSE and aimed to determine the benefits and challenges associated with their adoption. The researchers used purposive sampling to select four BUSE IT personnel for semi-structured interviews, and they distributed thirty-six questionnaires to lecturers and students using a convenience sampling technique. The research philosophy guiding this study was social constructivism, and a qualitative research approach was adopted, supported by a case study research design. The findings revealed that the commonly adopted ICT tools at BUSE were Zoom, Google Classroom, MOODLE, and informal platforms like WhatsApp. WhatsApp was the most widely used tool due to its low cost and user-friendly interface. However, both lecturers and students lacked sufficient ICT skills to navigate the other recommended ICT tools. While ICT-based teaching and learning during the pandemic reduced costs, saved time, and enhanced student performance, it also presented more challenges than opportunities. The efficiency and effectiveness of ICTs at BUSE were hindered by a lack of ICT infrastructure and skills, high bandwidth costs, poor network coverage, and frequent power outages. In conclusion, the researchers found that adopting ICTs in higher learning institutions in Zimbabwe, particularly under pandemic conditions, is a complex process that requires addressing various challenges to ensure its success
Research on the Construction of a Diversified Elderly Care Service System for Empty Nest Elders in Rural China Under the Vision of Rural Revitalization
With the advent of China’s aging society, the problems of an aging population, an increasingly elderly population, and empty nests are unavoidable, particularly prominent in rural areas.
