Attainment of Economic Growth in Developing Countries: A Comparative Analysis of Foreign Direct Investment Inflows in Ghana and Nigeria
This study assessed the nexus between foreign direct investment and economic growth in Ghana and Nigeria over the period of 33years (i.e 1990-2022). It uses secondary source of data. The variables such as foreign direct investment, control of corruption, government effectiveness and real gross domestic product (proxy of economic growth) were employed in the study. The data were collated from World Development Indicator, 2023. The techniques such as descriptive statistics, correlation analysis, co-integration test, and Autoregressive Distributed Lag (ARDL) were conducted to analyze the data. The results of ARDL show the presence of short run interaction between foreign direct investment and real gross domestic product of Ghana while the result of long run interaction is inconclusive. However, long run relationship exists between foreign direct investment and real gross domestic product of Nigeria. As a result, the short run disequilibrium is corrected in the long run at 1% as reported by ECM. The study concluded that the relationship between foreign direct investment and economic growth in Ghana is found in the short run while that of Nigeria exists in the long run. It was therefore recommended among others that Ghanaian government should keep creating conducive environment for business and formulate favourable investment policy to attract investors into the country. In Nigeria, the policy makers should lessen the stringent conditions of property registration and tax payment as pointed out by the World Bank. This will help to create better atmosphere for businesses, thereby increasing the volume of the FDI inflows into the country

The Strategic Value behind Revolutionary Art: The Trend Analysis of Studying Chinese Military Thoughts From Mao Zedong’s Poems in the United States
Revolutionary art has long been a powerful medium for expressing political ideologies, inspiring movements, and shaping societies. The study of Mao Zedong’s military thought through his poems is a new trend in American academic circles, which, from the 1930s till now, first focused on military aesthetic research on the heroism of the “struggle and revolution” of Mao’s poems. Now, the research trend of the American academia can be summarized into two themes: military strategic interpretation represented by Dragon in Ambush: The Art of War in the Poems of Mao Zedong, and the contemplation of military philosophy in Mao’s poetry within the context of the communist revolution in China. These three perspectives have been closely linked to the evolving international landscape and historical developments in Sino-US relations
Prospects and Challenges of Technology Enhanced Language Learning: Teachers Perspectives
This study explored the integration of Technology Enhanced Language Learning (TELL) from the perspective of language teachers, motivated by the increasing role of digital tools in education and the need to understand their practical impact. The purpose was to investigate the perceived benefits, challenges, and influence of teachers’ attitudes and proficiency with educational technology on TELL adoption. Employing a descriptive research design, the study surveyed 50 language teachers from primary and secondary schools using a structured questionnaire. Key findings revealed that a significant majority of teachers recognized benefits such as increased student engagement (76%) and improved access to resources (66%). However, challenges like frequent technical issues (50%) and inadequate training (44%) were prevalent, affecting their willingness to use technology. Furthermore, the study found that teachers’ confidence in their technological skills varied, influencing their adoption of TELL tools. The study concluded that there is need for targeted professional development and improved technical support to enhance technology integration in language teaching. Recommendations included implementing more practical, hands-on training programs and ensuring reliable access to technological resources to support effective use. These steps are essential to maximizing the benefits of technology in language education and overcoming barriers that impede its successful integration
