    Efektivitas Ekstrak Eugenol Rimpang Lengkuas (Alpinia Galangal L) Terhadap Pertumbuhan Jamur Trichophyton Rubrum Dengan Metode Dilusi

    Abstract: Galangal is a kind of plant which can also be apllied as medicine for anti-fungi due to its essential oil. Galangal contains about 1% of essential oil that yellow greenery in colored, unique smell, quite bitter and cooling tongue. Metil sinamat 48%, cineoi 20%-30%, kamfer, d-alfa-pinen, galangal, kamfor, gallangol, sesuiterpene, kadinena, hidrates. One of the essential compound is eugenol. This study was aimed to determine the influence of galangal rhizomes extract concentration to the growth of fungi (Trichophyton rubrum) by counting the number of colonies which growing on PDA (Potato Dextrose Agar) media. Method of this study is quasi experiment, sampling technique by using purposive sampling. The sample used in this research is isolated Trichophyton rubrum. Each galangal rhizomes extract experienced by 6 treatments by using DMSO (Dimethyl Sulfoxide) as solvent for consentration 0,05%, 0,06%, 0,07%, 0,08%, 0,09% and 0,1%. Inhibitory test of galangal rhizomes extract have been done by using dilution method, with suspended Trichophyton rubrum by counting the amount of Trichophyton rubrum colonies on each petridish based on certain concentration. Fungi colonies number on each petridish reported in CFU unit (Colony Forming Unit). Based on results, it can be concluded that 0,1% galangal extract had potency to inhibit the growth of Trichophyton rubrum. Data analyzed by using regression test showed that there was an influence of galangal extract concentration to the growth of Trichophyton rubrum which obtained p value=0,000 in 95% confidential level (p=0,00 < 0,05) by meaning that each galangal extract concentration gave effect on Trichophyton rubrum boost.Abstrak: Lengkuas adalah tumbuhan yang berkhasiat obat yang dapat digunakan sebagai obat anti jamur karena mengandung minyak atsiri. Minyak atsiri  pada lengkuas memiliki kandungan 1% yang berwarna kuning kehijauan dan berbau khas dan memberikan rasa pahit dan mendinginkan lidah. Metil sinamat 48%, cineoi 20%-30%, kamfer, d-alfa-pinen, galangal, kamfor, gallangol, sesuiterpene, kadinena, hidrates. Salah satu komponen senyawa yang banyak terdapat di dalam minyak atsiri adalah senyawa eugenol. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui adanya pengaruh konsentrasi dari ekstrak rimpang lengkuas terhadap pertumbuhan jamur Trichophyton rubrum dengan melihat jumlah koloni yang tumbuh pada media PDA (Potato Dextrose Agar). Metode penelitian ini adalah eksperimental semu, teknik pengambilan sampel dengan cara purposive sampling.Sampel yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah isolat Trichophyton rubrum. Masing-masing ekstrak rimpang lengkuas dilakukan dengan 6 perlakuan dengan menggunakan DMSO (Dimethyl Sulfoxide) sebagai pelarut pada konsentrasi 0,05%, 0,06%, 0,07%, 0,08%, 0,09%, 0,1%. Uji daya hambat ekstrak rimpang lengkuas dilakukan menggunakan metode dilusi, dengan suspensi jamur Trichophyton rubrum. dengan cara menghitung jumlah koloni jamur Trichophyton rubrum pada masing-masing petridish berdasarkan konsentrasi. Jumlah koloni jamur pada setiap petridish dilaporkan dalam satuan CFU (Colony Forming Unit). Berdasarkan hasil penelitian dapat disimpulkan bahwa ekstrak rimpang lengkuas pada konsentrasi 0,1% sudah dapat menghambat pertumbuhan jamur Trichophyton rubrum. Analisa data dengan menggunakan uji Regresi menunjukkan terdapat pengaruh pada konsentrasi ekstrak rimpang lengkuas terhadap pertumbuhan jamur Trichophyton rubrum dengan nilai p = 0,00 pada tingkat kepercayaan 95% (p=0,00 < 0,05) yang artinya terdapat pengaruh pada tiap konsentrasi ekstrak rimpang lengkuas terhadap pertumbuhan jamur Trichophyton rubrum

    Abstrak: Efektifitas Kembang Sepatu (Hibiscu Rosa Sinensis. L) dan Kurkumin dalam Pemeriksaan Kandungan  Boraks pada Bakso di Pontianak Utara. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah penelitian eksperimen semu (quasi experimen) yaitu penelitian yang mendekati percobaan sungguhan, tetapi tidak mengadadakan kontrol. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh pedagang bakso kaki lima yang menetap di wilayah Pontianak Utara dengan jumlah sampel sebanyak 27 sampel bakso. Hasil penelitian yaitu ada perbedaan jumlah bakso yang positif boraks dengan variasi dosis estrak kembang sepatu (sepatu 20%, 22,5%, 25 %, 27,5%, 30%) dengan dosis efektif yang di gunakan adalah sebesar 30% dimana di peroleh nilai p = 0,000. Tidak ada perbedaan hasil yang di peroleh antara kurkumin dengan kembang sepatu dalam menditeksi boraks. Masyarakat dapat menggunakan estrak bunga kembang sepatu sebagai indikator boraks pada makanan.Abstract: Effectiveness of Flower Shoes (Hibiscu Rosa Sinensis, L) and in The Examination Content Curcumin of Borax in Meatballs in North Pontianak. This type of research is a quasi-experimental research (quasi experimental) research that approach real experiment, but not organize control. The population in this study are all meatballs traders sidewalk settled in the North Pontianak with a total sample of 27 samples meatballs. The results of research that there are differences in the number of positive borax meatballs with dose variation estrak hibiscus (shoe 20%, 22.5%, 25%, 27.5%, 30%) with an effective dose used was 30% which was obtained p = 0.000. That is no difference in the results obtained between curcumin with hibiscus in menditeksi borax. Communities can use estrak hibiscus flower as an indicator of borax in food

    Low-salt diets affect the patient’s appetite because restricted salt will affect the taste of food. A decrease in appetite due to the taste of food causes the patient not to consume the portion of food served which results in his nutritional needs not being met. This study aims to determine the general description of food residue and nutritional status in hypertensive patients who receive a low-salt diet at Sultan Syarif Mohamad Alkadrie Pontianak Hospital, the type of research used was descriptive with cross sectional design, the number of samples studied were 41 people. The data used consisted of two types, namely primary data including nutritional status data based on BMI, identity data and food waste data. While secondary data covers the general state of the sample research location. The results showed that respondents who had a good food intake of 43.9% and those who had less food intake were 56.1%. The most common type of leftovers found in respondents were animal dishes at 41%. It was found that respondents with overweight nutritional status were 14.6% (6 people) and underweight nutritional status of 19.6 (8 people). It is advisable to further improve the type and taste of food, so that patients do not get bored quickly and are able to spend the food given by the hospital, so that nutritional status the patient is awake during hospitalization

    Abstract: Porosity Of Acrylic Resin After Immersion In The Boiled Water Of Betel Leaves And Siwak Wood. Denture acrylic resin can be a collection point for stain, tar, and plaque and this will adversely affect the oral health of the denture wearer. One way to clean the oral cavity of denture users is to use mouthwash and soak the teeth with a cleaning solution/denture cleanser. Mouthwash solutions and chemical-based cleaning solutions at relatively high prices, and affect the porosity of dentures. Therefore, the need for alternative materials that are safe, cheap, natural as well as having antimicrobial function without affecting the level of porosity of denture. This study was to determine the effect of the combination of boiled water of betel leaves and siwak wood to the porosity of the acrylic resin plate. This study was an experimental study, posttest only design with the control group has been done at the integrated laboratory of Poltekkes Tanjungkarang, July – December 2015. Data were analyzed by One Way ANOVA and continued with Least Significant Difference test. The results showed that the combination of betel leaves and siwak wood does not affect the porosity of the acrylic resin plate. The highest concentration of the combination of betel leaf water and siwak wood that did not differ significantly with negative control (aquades) was 75% with longest immersion period was 59 days. Abstrak: Porositas Lempeng Resin Akrilik Pasca Perendaman Rebusan Daun Sirih Dan Kayu Siwak. Gigi tiruan resin akrilik dapat menjadi tempat pengumpulan stain, tar, dan plak dan hal ini akan berpengaruh jelek terhadap kesehatan mulut pemakai gigi tiruan. Salah satu cara menjaga kebersihan rongga mulut pengguna gigi tiruan adalah dengan menggunakan obat kumur dan merendam gigi-tiruan tersebut dengan larutan pembersih/denture cleanser. Larutan obat kumur dan larutan pembersih berbahan dasar dari bahan kimia dengan harga yang relatif mahal, serta mempengaruhi porositas gigi tiruan. Oleh karena itu, perlu adanya bahan alternatif yang aman, murah, alami sekaligus memiliki fungsi antimikroba dengan tanpa mempengaruhi tingkat porositas gigi tiruan. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui pengaruh kombinasi air rebusan daun sirih dan kayu siwak terhadap porositas lempeng resin akrilik. Penelitian ini adalah penelitian eksperimental, rancangan post test only with control group design, dilaksanakan di Laboratorium Terpadu Poltekkes Tanjungkarang, Juli-Desember 2015. Analisis data dengan uji One Way ANOVA dan dilanjutkan uji Least Significant Difference. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kombinasi air rebusan daun sirih dan kayu siwak tidak mempengaruhi porositas lempeng resin akrilik. Konsentrasi tertinggi dari kombinasi air rebusan daun sirih dan kayu siwak yang tidak berbeda signifikan dengan kontrol negatif (aquades) adalah 75% dengan lama perendaman terpanjang yaitu 59 hari

    Abstract: Epidemiological Study Events Of Traffic Accidents In Pontianak City. The number of traffic accidents in Pontianak City in 2014 is 477 cases, 2015 by 454 cases, in 2016 as many as 542 cases. Important research is done to know the main cause faktors of the accident so that policy makers can pursue the right and maximum intervention. The purpose of this research is to know the epidemiology of traffic accident incident on the motorcycle and cars in Pontianak City. The research used descriptive cross sectional design. Research sample 94 people who have experienced Traffic Accident the last 3 months recorded in data Polresta Pontianak with sampling technique using purposive sampling. The results showed that most of the frequency distribution of epidemiological variables in traffic accidents were as follows: age 26-45 years (45.7%), male gender (70.2%), no driver license (82%). Drivers are driven by high-speed driving habits (67%), vehicle drivers are not routinely caring for vehicles (44.7%), environmental faktors are mostly drivers in dark road conditions (17%). It is expected to raise public awareness about safety driving measures and increase the strength of traffic police and volunteers at crowded traffic points to control traffic especially over the weekend as well as strict regulation of drivers’ faktors, especially the ownership of driving licenses, vehicle maintenance, and improvement of road environmental facilitiesAbstrak: Studi Epidemiologi Kejadian Kecelakaan Lalu Lintas Di Kota Pontianak.  Angka kecelakaan lalu lintas di Kota pontianak terus menerus terjadi peningkatan setiap tahun. tahun 2014 sebanyak 477 kasus, tahun 2015 sebanyak 454 kasus dan tahun 2016 sebanyak 542 kasus, penelitian penting dilakukan untuk mengetahui faktor penyebab utama kecelakaan sehingga pengambil kebijakan dapat mengupayakan intervensi yang tepat dan maksimal. Tujuan penelitian  untuk mengetahui epidemiologi kejadian kecelakaan lalu lintas pada pengendara motor dan mobil di Kota Pontianak. Penelitian menggunakan desain cross sectional deskriptif. Sampel penelitian 94 orang yang pernah mengalami kecelakaan lalu lintas 3 bulan terakhir yang tercatat di data Polresta Kota Pontianak dengan teknik pengambilan sampel menggunakan purposive sampling. Hasil penelitian menunjukan sebagian besar distribusi frekuensi variabel epidemiologi pada kasus kecelakaan lalu lintas adalah sebagai berikut: usia 26-45 tahun (45.7%), jenis kelamin laki-laki (70.2%), tidak memiliki SIM (82%). Berdasarkan faktor pengemudi sebagian besar memiliki kebiasaan berkendara dengan kecepatan tinggi (67%), faktor kendaraan sebagian besar pengemudi tidak rutin merawat kendaraan (44.7%), faktor lingkungan sebagian besar pengemudi dalam kondisi jalan gelap (17%). Diharapkan meningkatkan kesadaran masyarakat tentang langkah-langkah keselamatan berkendara dan meningkatkan kekuatan polisi lalu lintas dan sukarelawan di titik-titik lalu lintas yang padat untuk mengontrol lalu lintas terutama selama akhir pekan serta pengaturan ketat dari faktor pengemudi khususnya kepemilikan surat ijin mengemudi, perawatan kendaraan, dan perbaikan fasilitas lingkungan jalan.Â

    Perbedaan Penggunaan Antikoagulan K2EDTA DAN K3EDTA Terhadap Hasil Pemeriksaan Indeks Eritrosit

    Abstract: Routine blood examination is the earliest blood test or screening test to determine the diagnosis of an abnormality. Blood easily froze if it is outside the body and can be prevented by the addition of anticoagulants, one of which Ethylene Diamine Tetra Acetate (EDTA). Currently available vacuum tubes containing EDTA anticoagulants in the form of K2EDTA and K3EDTA. K3EDTA is usually a salt that has better stability than other EDTA salts because it shows a pH approaching a blood pH of about 6.4. The purpose of this research is to know the difference of erythrocyte index results include MCH, MCV and MCHC using K3EDTA anticoagulant with K2EDTA. This research is a cross sectional design. This study used venous blood samples mixed with K2EDTA anticoagulant and venous blood mixed with K3EDTA anticoagulants, each of 30 samples. Data were collected and analyzed using paired different test. Based on data analysis that has been done on MCH examination, p value <0,05 then there is a significant difference between samples with K3EDTA anticoagulant with K2EDTA to erythrocyte index value. Then on the examination of MCV and MCHC obtained p value <0.05 then there is no significant difference between samples with K3EDTA anticoagulant with K2EDTA to erythrocyte index value.Abstrak: Pemeriksaan darah rutin merupakan pemeriksaan darah yang paling awal atau screening test untuk mengetahui diagnosis suatu kelainan. Darah mudah membeku jika berada diluar tubuh dan bisa dicegah dengan penambahan antikoagulan, salah satunya Ethylene Diamine Tetra Acetate (EDTA). Dewasa ini telah tersedia tabung vakum yang sudah berisi antikoagulan EDTA dalam bentuk  K2EDTA dan  K3EDTA. K3EDTA  biasanya berupa garam yang mempunyai stabilitas yang lebih baik dari garam EDTA yang lain karena menunjukkan pH yang mendekati pH darah yaitu sekitar 6,4. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui perbedaan hasil indeks eritrosit meliputi MCH, MCV dan MCHC menggunakan antikoagulan K3EDTA dengan K2EDTA. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian dengan desain cross sectional. Penelitian ini menggunakan sampel darah vena yang dicampur dengan antikoagulan K2EDTA dan darah vena yang dicampur dengan antikoagulan K3EDTA, masing-masing sebanyak 30 sampel. Data dikumpulkan dan dianalisis menggunakan uji beda berpasangan. Berdasarkan analisis data yang telah dilakukan pada pemeriksaan MCH didapatkan nilai p < 0,05 maka ada perbedaan yang signifikan antara sampel dengan antikoagulan K3EDTA dengan K2EDTA terhadap nilai indeks eritrosit. Kemudian pada pemeriksaan MCV dan MCHC didapatkan nilai p < 0,05 maka tidak ada perbedaan yang signifikan antara sampel dengan antikoagulan K3EDTA dengan K2EDTA terhadap nilai indeks eritrosit

    Abstrak: Gambaran Sistem Pengolahan Air Baku di Perusahaan Daerah Air Minum (PDAM) Kabupaten Sambas. Jenis penelitian ini  bersifat observasional dengan desain deskriptif. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukan bahwa hasil pengukuran air baku berbau, berasa, kekeruhan tinggi dan coliform tinggi. Air baku setelah melewati proses pengolahan menjadi tidak berbau, tidak berasa, kekeruhan mengalami penurunan dan coliform mengalami penurunan. Air bersih setelah didistribusikan kekeruhan dan coliform mengalami kenaikan. Faktor yang mempengaruhi naiknya tingkat kekeruhan karena endapan lumpur yang ada di dasar pipa ikut terbawa aliran air saat didistribusikan dan faktor yang mempengaruhi angka coliform meningkat karena botol pengambilan sampel yang kurang steril, cara pengambilan sampel yang belum efektif serta lama nya pengangkutan sampel dari tempat ke laboratorium mengakibatkan air terkontaminasi. Kesimpulannya adalah pengolahan air PDAM Sambas belum memenuhi standar kualitas air bersih yang telah ditetapkan khususnya pada parameter tingkat kekeruhan, warna dan pH, yaitu Permenkes Nomor 416/Menkes/Per/IX/ 1990.Abstract: The Description of Raw Water Treatment System at Regional Water Supply Company (PDAM) of Sambas District. This type of research is observational with descriptive design.These results indicate that the measurement of raw water odorless, tasteless, high turbidity and high coliform. The raw water after passing through the processing be no smell, no taste, turbidity and coliform decreased decreased. Distributed clean water after turbidity and coliform increases. Factors affecting the increase in turbidity levels because of silt at the bottom of the pipe carried on the flow of water when distributed and factors that affect the rate of coliform increased because the bottle sampling less sterile sampling technique that has not been effective as well as his longtime transporting the sample from the laboratory resulting in contaminated water. The conclusion is PDAM water treatment Sambas not meet water quality standards that have been set, especially on the parameter level of turbidity, color and pH, namely Decree number 416/Menkes/Per/IX/1990

    Abstrak: Efektivitas Kombinasi Cone Tray Aerator dan Media Filtrasi Cangkang Kerang dalam Menurunkan Kadar Besi (Fe) pada Air Sumur Gali di Wilayah Komplek Permata Ampera Pontianak. Jenis penelitian ini bersifat eksperimen semu (quasi experiment). Rancangan penelitian yang digunakan adalah pretest–posttest with control group design yaitu unit percobaan dikenakan perlakuan dengan dua kali pengukuran. Hasil penelitian kombinasi cone tray aerator dan media filtrasi cangkang kerang terbukti mampu menurunkan kadar Fe pada Air Sumur Gali. Efektifitas sesudah pengolahan 15 menit rata-rata penurunan 78,06 %, 30 menit rata-rata penurunan 80,98 %, 45 menit rata-rata penurunan 83,98 %, dan 60 menit rata-rata penurunan 86,28 %. Uji statistik nilai F sebesar 9167,972 dengan nilai signifikan sebesar 0,000 dimana < 0,05. Hal ini menunjukan bahwa ada perbedaan yang signifikan. Bagi masyarakat di Kelurahan Sungai Bangkong RT 001 Blok C yang menggunakan sumber air sumur gali sebaiknya mengelola air dengan menggunakan kombinasi Cone Tray Aerator dan Media Filtrasi Cangkang Kerang terlebih dahulu sebelum digunakan.Abstract: The Effectiveness of Combination Cone Tray Aerator and Scallop Shell Filtration Medium to Reducing The Fe Degree on Well Water at Komplek Permata Ampera Region Pontianak. This research used quasi experiment which the research design used prestest-postest control group design which is a unit of experiment was conducted twice treatment measurements. The result of this research on combination cone tray aerator and scallop shell filtration medium was proven that was able reducing the Fe degree of water wells. The effectiveness after the treatment within 15 minutes has gained the reduction average at 78,06 %, 30 minutes has gained the reduction average at 80, 98%, while 45 minutes has gained the reduction average at 83, 98% and 60 minutes has gained the reduction average at 86, 28 %. In the statistic value of F was 9167, 972 with the significant of 0, 000 where < 0, 05. It showed that there were the significant differences. For the whole populations at Sungai Bangkong RT 001 Block C which uses well water as well as managing the water by combining cone tray aerator and scallop shell filtration medium firstly before using it.Â

    Posyandu is one of the Efforts the health community’s Power Stems (UKBM) which is managed and organized from, by, for and with communities in implementing health development. UKBM can empower communities and provide convenience to the public in obtaining basic health services to accelerate the decline in the death rate of mothers and babies. This research aims to know the mother’s knowledge, the relationship with the level of participation of the community in the village of Posyandu Baya Betung working area Pandan River Subdistrict health centers Tebelian Regency Sintang. This type of research is observational design with Cross Sectional (Pieces of latitude). The research was carried out in the village of Baya Betung working area Pandan Tebelian River Subdistrict health centers on December 29, s/d January 3, 2015. The respondents in this study were the mother of a toddler. How to use data collection interviews using questionnaire instruments. The results showed no relationship between mother’s knowledge (p = 0.05) with the level of participation of the community in the village of Baya Betung working area Pandan River Subdistrict health centers Tebelian Regency Sintang. It is recommended to provide guidance about the benefits to mother and toddler posyandu layout posyandu is close to the community

    Penerapan Model Edukasi Gizi terhadap Perilaku Sarapan pada Anak Sekolah Dasar

    Abstract: Application Of Nutrition Education Model To Breakfast Behavior In Basic School Children. Based on Data Riskesdas, (2010), 16-59% of school children in Indonesia are not accustomed to breakfast. School children who are used to breakfast 44.6% with energy consumption levels <15% AKG, 70% with poor breakfast nutritional quality with only drinking water / coffee / tea or with 1 (one) piece of small cake. Behavior is strongly influenced by various faktors including knowledge, intention and motivation of children to do breakfast, so needed a method to move child intention in doing breakfast. This research used to know how far effect of nutrition education to knowledge, habit, nutritional value and arrangement of breakfast food. The research method used was quasi experiment (Non-Randomized group pre-post test) with research subjects as many as 50 children divided into 2 (two) treatment groups (each group consists of 25 people). Educational media used the method of playing a smart ball game and counseling. The result of this research is there is a significant difference of knowledge level and value of knowledge score in both groups. The group of children who were educated with smart ball games had an average score higher than the group of children who received education through counseling (p <0.05).Abstrak: Penerapan Model Edukasi Gizi terhadap Perilaku Sarapan pada Anak Sekolah Dasar.  Data Riskesdas, (2010), 16-59% anak sekolah di Indonesia  tidak terbiasa  sarapan.  Anak sekolah yang terbiasa sarapan 44.6% dengan tingkat konsumsi energi <15% AKG, 70% dengan mutu gizi sarapan yang tergolong buruk dengan hanya minum air/kopi/teh atau dengan 1 (satu) potong kue kecil. Penelitian ini bertujuan mengetahui sejauh mana pengaruh edukasi gizi terhadap pengetahuan, kebiasaan, nilai gizi dan susunan makanan sarapan. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah quasi experiment (Non-Randomized grup pre–post test) dengan subyek penelitian sebanyak 50 anak dibagi dalam 2 (dua) kelompok perlakuan (masing kelompok terdiri dari 25 orang). Media edukasi yang digunakan penggunaan metode permainan bola pintar dan penyuluhan. Hasil Penelitian ini adalah ada perbedaan yang signifikan tingkat pengetahuan dan nilai skor pengetahuan pada kedua kelompok. Kelompok anak yang mendapatkan edukasi dengan permainan bola pintar memiliki rata-rata skor nilai lebih tinggi dibandingkan dengan kelompok anak yang mendapatkan edukasi melalui penyuluhan (p<0,05). Â
