    The availability of infrastructures is very important to support and determine the level of efficiency and effectiveness economy activities of a country. The availability of infrastructures is necessary for development. Thus, at the early stage, infrastructure development in a country is fully supported by the Government through the National Budget. However, along with economy growth of a country, demand on infrastructure service is also increasing. The problem is that those demands are not balanced with government’s ability in providing the infrastructures. Development of air transportation infrastructures has to be done faster in accordance with the increasing number of passengers. Therefore, it is necessary to look at business aspects in order to be feasible and economical. Various chances in model of Public Private Partnerships, project financing and chances in the use of both international proiect financing and domestic capital market for developing airports need to be considered in the future concerning the limited government\u27s ability in financing

    Assessment of Air Traffic Controllers (ATC) Fatigue Level in Providing flight Traffic services at Juanda International Airport Surabaya is to know how the description of Air traffic controller fatigue level in guiding services air traffic that impact on aviation safety. Assessment method used descriptive quantitative method by using Paired Sample T-Tesf method analysis, comparing the condition of fatigue before and after the ATC on duty, as well as exposure and detailed explanation based on the primary and secondary data compilation and the data have been processed. The assessment result shows that there are level of fatigue of Air Traffic Controller that significant, both of physical and psychological factors

    Sultan Taha Syarifuddin Airport is an airport located in the province of Jambi. This airport began in April 2007 is managed by PT. Angkasa Pura II, which was previously managed by the Department of Transportation Jambi Province. PT.Angkasa Pura II (Persero) as the steering Airport, Jambi Sultan Taha Sultan Taha Airport development plan to be an international airport on 2012. Currently there are 5 air transport company which is every day in flight Sultan Taha Airport. Based on Forecast result (forecasting), the movement of aircraft on 2011 at 7.24%, 5.73% in 2012 and in 2013 5.429%. The number of passengers in 2011 rose 15.14% in 2012 rose 7.64% in 2013 rose 7.09%. While number of the cargo on 2011 rose 3%, 3% in 2012 and 2013, 3%. The analysis result of land side facilities at Sultan Taha Airport Jambi at departure are for the development of 274.31 m2 space. Need development of space for the arrivalare of 248 m2. Area of 134 m2 is adequate toilet but the toilet really badly because there are only 4 pieces of toilets currently available. Baggage claim area was not sufficient anymore the addition of 37.88 m2. Hall of arrival to the development of 311.51 m2. While fhe obstacles / problems related to building new terminal facilities of international standard can be implemented that is not related assets owned by DGCA is not handed over / transferred to PT.Angkasa Pura II (Persero) and there is still the official residence owned by DGCA

    Sultan Hasanuddin International Airport Makassar with its role as the entrance to eastern part of Indonesia, is the busiest airport currently. However, it may mean nothing if it is not facilitated with boarding lounge both for domestic and international departure. Boarding lounge is a place provided for passengers to wait before departure after they check ini. Due to the busy airport, potentials of flight delay experienced by the passengers while waiting in the boarding lounge should be anticipated. It may happen because of the congested passengers during peak hours. Nevertheles, after Conducting this research, results show that the utilization of the provided boarding lounge reaches 67% while the passenger perception towards the facilities is categorized very good. On the other hand, the calculation of the provided boarding lounge capacity show "fair" result. Generally, the avaibility as well as the good facility of the boarding lounge should be maintened

    Safety is the most important thing in aviation. Safety level has to improved in highest performance. One way to improve safety is to implement safety culture in organization. In case of aviation safety, safety is affected by many factors. Aircraft maintenance is of the factor. The goal of his research is to asess the aviation safety culture in maintenance facilities, case study: Garuda Maintenance Facilities (GMF) using Safety Culture Indicator Scale Measurement System (SCISMS). The Safety Culture Grid System is used to analize the data. Result shows that safety culture in Garuda Maintenance Facilities is COLLABORATIVE. In a Collaborative safety culture, safety is seen as a primary integrated concern throughout the organization

    Safety is the top priority and must be provided in every flight activity. All institutions that conduct activities in the airport shall have the commitment in implementing Safety Management System, in accordance with national and international standards. In its implementation, Safety Management System consists of 5 (five) indicators i.e. safety policy and objective indicator, danger identification and safety risk management indicator, safety assurance indicator, safety promotion indicator, and emergency response planning indicator. The operators of Sepinggan Internatinal Airport Balikpapan have implemented almost all 5 (five) indicators and its variables. However, there are no SMS organization and manager safety/officer provided. Only working groups (Pokja) are available. Therefore, reports on events are not documented as materials for analysis which can be useful for avoiding errors to occur again

    The growth number of passenger of air transportation increased rapidly as an indicator of industrial development of air transport services must be balanced with the service and information from the airlines\u27 services to service users in order to feel the services delivered as expected. Airline companies should be able to provide services as required passengers who have different characters. Services provided by the airlines in carrying out its activities are divided into 3 (three) groups: service with a maximum standards (full service), service with a medium standards (medium service) and services with minimum standards (no frills). Passengers PT. Lion Mentari Air Jakarta – Yogyakarta route with minimum service standards (no frills) is a sample in this study. The results of calculations using the average performance (X) 3.56 and the average expectation of passengers(Y) 4.45 indicating that the performance of PT. Lion Mentari Air is still low compared with the expectations of passengers. The results of the analysis of customer satisfaction index of 17 indicators of service provided through the 71.14% scored less satisfactorily interpreted so that the performance of PT. Lion Air still needs refinement and improvement
