PENETAPAN KADAR GARAM PADA IKAN TERI MEDAN DENGAN VARIASI METODE DAN SUHU PERENDAMAN
Full text linkPendahuluan: Ikan teri Medan adalah jenis teri berwarna putih berukuran kecil yang sangat populer di Indonesia, dan dibuat dengan cara penggaraman dan pengeringan, yang menghasilkan produk teri kering. Garam dalam ikan teri Medan dapat menjadi pertimbangan bagi konsumen. Tujuan: Tujuan penelitian adalah menentukan kadar garam ikan teri Medan harga termahal dan termurah berdasarkan suhu perendaman serta perbandingan metode penetapan kandungan garam NaCl. Metode: Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode Argentometri yaitu metode Kohman dan metode Volhard. Titrasi metode Kohman ditandai terbentuknya endapan merah bata, titik akhir titrasi ditandai dengan terbentuknya endapan merah bata AgCrO4. Sedangkan metode Volhard merupakan titrasi tidak langsung dengan indikator FeCl3 dan terbentuk warna salmon (merah). Suhu perendaman air panas adalah 90-92 ºC dan air dingin pada T= 29 ºC. Hasil: Hasil kadar garam pada ikan teri Medan harga termahal metode Kohman pada perendaman air panas (T= 90-920C) dan air dingin (T=290C) masing-masing adalah 0,9472<µ<0,1073 mg/g dan 1,01099<µ<1,2892 mg/g, pada ikan teri termurah 0,0798<µ<0,1026 mg/g dan 0,4925<µ<0,6235 mg/g. Dengan metode Volhard pada ikan teri termahal maing-masing adalah 5,0043<µ<5,0658 mg/g dan 5,0281<µ<5,0319 mg/g pada ikan teri termurah 5,05267 <x<5,06071mg/g dan 5,0465<µ<5,0630 mg/g.

Designing Supplementary English Reading Material Based on Pos Bloc Medan
Full text linkOne of the causes of the lack of interest in reading is the lack of interesting reading materials. This study developed reading materials based on Pos Bloc Medan, a historic building in Medan, Indonesia that was transformed from a post office to a Pos Bloc. Creating new reading materials in the world of education is an important step to improve the quality of learning, expand access to knowledge, encourage innovation and creativity, and increase student engagement and motivation. This study aims to design new reading materials for students and college students to facilitate learning. The development technique used is descriptive qualitative and data collection is carried out by document analysis, observation and interviews. These findings provide important implications for the development of educational reading materials based on local culture in Indonesi

Using a qualitative approach, this study aims to understand how students apply their English language skills in a real work context, and how those skills contribute to their success in internships. Through a case study, this research analyzes the internship experience of a student at an international travel company. Research results show that English language skills are not only important to communicate effectively, but also to build a positive image of the company and strengthen professional networks. This research highlights The importance of preparing students with comprehensive communication skills, including the ability to adapt to various communication contexts and understand different cultural nuances
An Analysis of Verbal and Nonverbal Communication Skill
No full textMata Najwa is a talk show program broadcasted by Metro TV in an interview format. In every interview, the interviewer's communication skills play an important role in determining the success of the program. Effective communication techniques on television aim to dig up information and provide entertainment, so that good communication skills are needed so that the interview runs smoothly and is interesting for the audience.
The topics raised in the Mata Najwa program provide inspiration and insight to the audience. This program is considered to have higher quality than other talk shows, with various themes covering social, economic, and inspirational aspects.
This study focuses on the episode "Habibie & Suara Putra Negeri" from Mata Najwa. This episode was chosen because it has inspirational value and provides social insight, although it is not directly related to formal education. The problem studied in this study is how the verbal and nonverbal communication techniques used by Najwa Shihab in the episode. The purpose of the study was to understand the communication approach applied by Najwa Shihab during the interview in the episode "Habibie & Suara Putra Negeri."
This research approach uses a qualitative descriptive method. Based on the results of the study, it was found that Najwa Shihab uses a lot of persuasive communication techniques as the main strategy. In addition, other techniques such as instructive, informative, and humanistic are also used in the interview. Persuasive communication techniques can be seen from Najwa's use of verbal language that encourages and convinces the interviewee to provide answers according to the direction of the conversation. Najwa also succeeded in creating a comfortable atmosphere so that the interviewee tends to be open and answer every question asked.
The nonverbal language used by Najwa Shihab in this episode includes supporting the chin, leaning the body, and repeated hand movements. Meanwhile, nonverbal language that appears less frequently includes nodding the head, smiling, shaking hands, frowning, body movements, eyebrow movements, eye movements, and maintaining a professional appearance.
From this study, it can be concluded that Najwa Shihab predominantly uses persuasive communication techniques in the episode "Habibie & Suara Putra Negeri." Verbal language that persuades and encourages the interviewee to respond according to the interviewer's expectations is Najwa Shihab's characteristic. Nonverbal language such as supporting the chin, leaning the body, and hand movements are often used to strengthen effective communication and attract the audience's attention

From an Islamic perspective, this concept has a strong foundation which is reflected in various hadiths of the Prophet Muhammad SAW. These hadiths emphasize the importance of seeking knowledge from the cradle to the grave, showing that education is not limited to a certain age or stage of life. This research explores the concept of lifelong education based on a hadith perspective, by highlighting teachings that encourage Muslims to continue seeking knowledge and improving themselves. In the hadith, knowledge is considered as a light that guides humans towards truth and wisdom, as well as a means to achieve happiness in this world and the hereafter. This abstract explains how relevant hadiths can be interpreted and implemented in the context of modern education. By understanding this concept, individuals can develop a more holistic approach to learning, which includes spiritual, moral, and intellectual aspects. This research also highlights how the principles of lifelong education in the hadith can support personal and professional development, as well as contribute to the development of a more knowledgeable and cultured society
ANALISIS KARAKTERISTIK DAN POTENSI INTERAKSI OBAT PADA PASIEN HIPERTENSI DI PUSKESMAS KOTA MEDAN
Full text linkHipertensi merupakan penyakit silent killer yang tanpa disadari pasien dapat menimbulkan komplikasi tanpa ada gejala sebelumnya. Manajemen terapi hipertensi dapat menjadi komplek jika pasien memiliki komplikasi dan penyakit penyerta. Hal ini dapat memicu terjadinya interaksi obat. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis karakteristik dan potensi interaksi obat pada pasien hipertensi. Penelitian non-eksperimental ini akan dilaksanakan pada pasien hipertensi rawat jalan di salah satu puskesmas Kota Medan menggunakan rancangan deskriptif secara retrospektif. Pasien yang memenuhi kriteria inklusi akan dikumpulkan datanya berdasarkan resep dan data PRB. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan karakteristik pasien hipertensi paling banyak diidap oleh pasien jenis kelamin perempuan sebanyak 230 (65,9%), memiliki penyakit penyerta 254 pasien (72,8%), dengan pola pengobatan monoterapi sebanyak 196 pasien (56,2%), memiliki penyakit penyerta diabetes 71 orang (20,3%). Pada penelitian ini dapat disimpulkan bahwa terdapat 150 pasien (43%) yang mengalami kejadian interaksi obat dengan kejadian paling tinggi interaksi Amlodipin dengan Metformin sebanyak 79 kejadian (22,6%)

Memanfaatkan kecerdasan buatan dalam proses membuat cerita pendek memungkinkan penulis untuk mengatasi kendala teknis dan meningkatkan kualitas penulisannya. Artikel ini mengeksplorasi bagaimana perkembangan teknologi dapat membantu penulis dalam mengatasi hambatan kreatif, mempercepat proses penulisan, dan meningkatkan kualitas karya. Selain itu, artikel ini juga membahas tantangan etis dan artistik yang muncul dari penggunaan AI dalam penulisan, termasuk isu orisinalitas dan kreativitas. Artikel ini bertujuan untuk memberikan wawasan yang mendalam tentang potensi dan batasan kecerdasan buatan dalam dunia sastra, khususnya dalam karya tulis cerita pendek. Metode yang digunakan adalah penyebaran angket kepada siswa.. Hasil data dijelaskan dari respon terhadap angket. The pre test is carried out before counseling is given, to find out the increase in respondents' knowledge about the effect of reading prayer on the stress of the elderly can be found by comparing the results of the post test that have been filled in by the respondents after the counseling is carried out with the results of the pre test. The result was that there was an increase in public knowledge because the post test score was higher than the pre-test score
 
Pendampingan Bimbingan Dan Konseling Bagi Guru Sebagai Edukasi Pengentasan Masalah Peserta Didik Dalam Proses pembelajaran
Full text linkGuidance and Counseling is part of education for a teacher to be able shape the character of students so they can have a personality that can overcome problems in their learning process individually. Nowadays, not only teachers who have a guidance and counseling major are allowed to carry out process of eliminating student problems, but subject teachers and homeroom teachers are required to be able carry out the general guidance process in the classroom, therefore it is important for a teacher to be able understand guidance and counseling in general as a form of providing motivation or alleviating problems for students when they experience difficulties while studying either in class, school or at home. The Madrasah where community service is carried out is one of places where it is necessary provide assistance regarding guidance and counseling for teachers as education to overcome problems for students in their learning process. The methods used start from process of managing permits, socialization, preparation and implementation/activities, presentation results and final evaluation. The results of community service carried out at this Madrasah showed an increase in understanding of guidance and counseling for teachers starting from pretest before material was given to after material was given.Bimbingan dan Konseling merupakan bagian edukasi bagi seorang guru untuk dapat membentuk karakter peserta didik agar dapat memiliki kepribadian yang bisa mengentaskan masalah dalam proses pembelajarannya secara individu. Pada masa sekarang bukan hanya guru yang memiliki jurusan bimbingan dan konseling saja yang boleh melakukan proses pengentasan masalah peserta didik, melainkan guru bidang studi serta wali kelas wajib dapat melakukan proses bimbingan secara umum di dalam kelas, maka dari itu penting bagi seorang guru untuk dapat memahami bimbingan dan konseling secara umum sebagai bentuk dalam memberikan motivasi atau pengentasan masalah bagi peserta didik ketika mereka mengalami kesulitan pada saat belajar baik di kelas, sekolah maupun di rumah. Madrasah tempat melaksanakan pengabdian merupakan salah satu perlu dilakukan pendampingan mengenai bimbingan dan konseling bagi para guru-guru sebagai edukasi pengentasan masalah untuk peserta didik dalam proses pembelajarannya. Metode yang digunakan mulai dari proses pengurusan surat izin, sosialisasi, persiapan dan pelaksanaan/kegiatan, presentasi hasil dan evaluasi akhir. Hasil pengabdian yang dilaksanakan pada Madrasah ini terdapat peningkatan pemahaman akan bimbingan dan konseling bagi guru-guru mulai dari pretest sebelum diberikan materi dengan sesudah diberikan materi
AN ANALYSIS OF CODE MIXING ON THE INDAH G SHOW’S YOUTUBE PODCAST
Full text linkCode mixing is changing one language to another during a conversation or in written or spoken text. The data used in this study is The Indah G Show's Youtube Podcast entitled Chindo Jakarta vs Chindo Surabaya. This study aims to determine the form of code mixing contained in The Indah G Show's Youtube Podcast. The method used is a qualitative method. The results of this study indicate that there are 3 types of code mixing based on the Musyken’s theory, namely Inserstion, Alternation, and Lexicalization Congruent. The researcher found 29 data, including insertion 9 data, alternation 18 data, and lexicalization congruent 2 data. Based on these results, the researcher concluded that alternation is the type of code mixing that appears most often
