    The Development of the Artistic Potential of Pupils of Primary Classes by means of Slavic Choreography

    The Slavic choreography plays a significant role in developing the essential directions of children’s choreography under the conditions of school and leisure activity. The examples of Slavic choreography happen to be an eff ective measure for developing the artistic potential of younger pupils by receiving the basics of folklore –scenes and ballroom dancing. The dances of Slavic choreography that are considered typical for a variety of countries which are being taught at a school age, facilitate the development of a choreographic culture, technical skills and the imagery of a dance, they create opportunities for the children to get acquainted with the traditions, the character and the national peculiarities of the dancing culture of a certain nature. The Slavic danceseducate the child in terms of intranational tolerance and intracultural mentality, develop a high culture of international relations

    Seasonal variations of water condensation in cave environment: A case study from the Výpustek Cave (Moravian Karst)

    Seasonal variations of water condensation were studied in the Výpustek Cave (Moravian Karst). Microclimatic data such as cave/external air temperatures and visitor numbers were monitored in the Škrapový Dome and exterior of the cave with one-hour step during an almost season-long monitoring campaign. Water condensation data were recorded at monthly intervals using a polished limestone tablet located in a dome near the thermometers. Long-term monitoring showed that the temperature of the cave air was controlledby cave airflow driven by the temperature difference between the exterior and the cave, ΔTAF. Anthropogenic temperature influence appeared as peaks superimposed onto natural cave air temperatures curves and corresponded to the number of visitors. Seasonality of water condensation based on cave airflow was identified: no condensation during the UAF mode and drops of condensed water on the tablet surface in the DAF mode. Traces of calcite recrystallization were found on the tablet surface as a consequence of dissolution by the condensed water.Seasonal variations of water condensation were studied in the Výpustek Cave (Moravian Karst).     From Protected to Protracted: a Study of Temporary Protection Mechanisms’ “Permanent Temporariness” in European and Latin American Practices

    This paper examines the implications of the unintended consequences of temporary protection mechanisms in mass influx situations within the European Union and Latin American contexts. It argues that the misuse of those mechanisms disrupts the delicate balance between integration and return in what scholars term “refugee time”: integration over time within the host community (“time as attachment”) and the potential return to the home country once conditions improve (“time as a deadline”). The excessive reliance on temporary mechanisms, which often become prolonged or even indefinite, can leave refugees in a situation of “permanent temporariness”, unable to fully integrate or safely return. Drawing from socio-legal analysis, this paper reviews key theoretical contributions to establish a conceptual foundation for the study of refugees’ times and their delicate balance. It then compares the temporary protection policies in the European Union for Ukrainian refugees with those in Latin America for Venezuelans, exploring the distinct regional approaches and evaluating the effectiveness and limitations of each in supporting displaced populations. Finally, the paper proposes policy recommendations to address the unintended consequences of temporary protection. It advocates for aligning these practices more closely with the international refugee protection framework to reduce the precariousness of life in exile and foster durable, sustainable solutions for displaced individuals

    Cyberbullying and its Relationship to Emotional Intelligence Among Short Football Players

    Cyberbullying become a significant issue in modern sports environments, where athletes frequently interact on digital platforms. Athletes with distinctive physical characteristics, such as short stature, may experience online exclusion, ridicule, or psychological pressure, affecting their self-esteem and sporting identity. Emotional intelligence (EI) - the ability to recognize, understand, and manage emotions—is believed to protect athletes from engaging in or being affected by such negative online behaviors. The present study aimed to examine the relationship between cyberbullying and emotional intelligence among short-stature football players. It sought to determine whether higher levels of emotional intelligence are associated with lower involvement in cyberbullying  behaviors within the sports context. A total of 120 male short-stature football players (mean age = 18.6 ± 2.4 years) participated voluntarily. Two instruments were developed and validated specifically for this population: the Cyberbullying Scale and the Emotional Intelligence Scale. Validity and reliability were confirmed using correlation analysis and Cronbach’s alpha coefficients. Data were collected via self-report questionnaires and analyzed through descriptive statistics, Pearson’s correlation, and linear regression to identify the direction and strength of relationships between variables. The findings revealed a significant negative correlation between emotional intelligence and cyberbullying (r = −0.42, p < .001). Players with higher levels of emotional intelligence reported lower engagement in cyberbullying behaviors. The sub-dimensions of emotional intelligence—particularly empathy and emotional regulation—showed the strongest inverse relationships with online aggression. Emotional intelligence plays a critical role in reducing cyberbullying behaviors among short-stature football players. These results highlight the importance of integrating emotional intelligence training into sports psychology programs and coaching practices. Strengthening athletes’ emotional and social competencies can promote healthier online interactions, enhance team cohesion, and support psychological well-being in sports settings. Research for further studies should replicate these findings across different sports and cultural contexts to improve generalization

    Sídlisko z doby rímskej v Novom Meste nad Váhom

    Rescue research of the apartment house VILLA NOVA in Nové Mesto nad Váhom confirmed the archaeological potential of this site. The majority of the movable finds consisted of pottery, mainly Germanic hand-built pottery, with noticeable differences in material and firing techniques between domestic and imported vessels. Analysis of the immovable features identified settlement pits, which were probably used for grain storage and were later used as refuse pits. The dating of the site to the Late Roman Period is supported mainly by domestic Germanic pottery and a brooch.Záchranný výskum v lokalite apartmánového domu VILLA NOVA v Novom Meste nad Váhom potvrdil archeologický potenciál tejto lokality. Väčšinu hnuteľných nálezov tvorila keramika, predovšetkým germánska ručne robená keramika, pričom medzi domácimi a importovanými nádobami boli badateľné rozdiely v materiáli a technikách výpalu. Analýza nehnuteľných objektov identifikovala sídliskové jamy, ktoré pravdepodobne slúžili na uskladnenie obilia a neskôr slúžili ako odpadové jamy. Datovanie lokality do mladšej doby rímskej podporuje hlavne domáca germánska keramika a spona
