    Optimalisasi Peran Wali Asuh dalam Penanganan Bullying di Pesantren

    This study aims to examine the role of foster parents as mediators in dealing with bullying in Islamic boarding schools, with a focus on Nurul Jadid Islamic Boarding School. Foster parents are not only tasked with meeting the daily needs of students but also play an essential role in creating a harmonious environment through effective communication, understanding the root of the problem, and a solution-based approach. The results of the study indicate that open and empathetic communication helps build trust between foster parents and students and supports the emotional development of students. Understanding the background and external factors that influence students' behaviour is the first step in designing the right solution. A solution-based approach that prioritizes moral training, mediation, and collaborative tasks between perpetrators and victims has proven effective in improving relationships and shaping students' character. This study also provides recommendations for optimizing the role of foster parents and increasing collaboration between various parties in Islamic boarding schools in creating an environment free from bullying.Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji peran wali asuh sebagai mediator dalam menangani bullying di pesantren, dengan fokus pada Pondok Pesantren Nurul Jadid. Wali Asuh tidak hanya bertugas memenuhi kebutuhan harian santri, tetapi juga berperan penting dalam menciptakan lingkungan yang harmonis melalui komunikasi efektif, pemahaman akar permasalahan, dan pendekatan solutif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa komunikasi yang terbuka dan empatik membantu membangun kepercayaan antara wali asuh dan santri, serta mendukung perkembangan emosional santri. Pemahaman terhadap latar belakang dan faktor eksternal yang mempengaruhi perilaku santri menjadi langkah awal dalam merancang solusi yang tepat. Pendekatan solutif yang mengutamakan pelatihan akhlak, mediasi, dan tugas kolaboratif antara pelaku dan korban terbukti efektif dalam memperbaiki hubungan dan membentuk karakter santri. Penelitian ini juga memberikan rekomendasi untuk mengoptimalkan peran wali asuh dan meningkatkan kolaborasi antara berbagai pihak di pesantren dalam menciptakan lingkungan yang bebas dari bullying

    Abstract: The development of Artificial Intelligence (AI) technology has opened new opportunities in the field of education, including Islamic Religious Education (PAI). One prominent AI technology today is ChatGPT, a language model capable of interacting dialogically with users. This study aims to analyze the potential use of ChatGPT to enhance interactivity in PAI learning based on various literatures and previous research. The methodology used is a literature review with a descriptive-analytical approach to various scholarly sources, such as journals, articles, and relevant research reports. The findings indicate that ChatGPT serves as a learning medium that encourages active student engagement through text-based interactions, enriches understanding of Islamic content on a personal level, and provides a flexible alternative to address students' learning needs. However, its implementation also faces several challenges, such as the risk of misinformation, limited student understanding of technology, and the need for high digital literacy among teachers. This study concludes that ChatGPT holds significant potential as an interactive innovation in PAI learning, but it needs to be accompanied by wise and controlled pedagogical strategies.     Exploring Learning Needs for ‘Pesona Gege’: A Study on Civic Education in Primary Schools

    This study analyzes the needs of primary school teachers and students concerning the development of a culture-based educational game titled Pesona Gege for the Pendidikan Pancasila dan Kewarganegaraan (PPKn) subject. Employing a quantitative cross-sectional survey method, the research engaged respondents from five Madrasah Ibtidaiyah in Kandangan District, comprising five teachers and twenty students. Data were collected through structured questionnaires and analyzed descriptively. The findings reveal that 100% of teachers and 85–100% of students demonstrated a high demand for educational media that is interactive, culturally relevant, and accessible across multiple platforms. Teachers highlighted the importance of capacity-building initiatives in Genially-based game development, whereas students emphasized preferences for rich visual content and the use of the Indonesian language. These results underscore an urgent need for the development of culturally grounded, student-centered educational media to strengthen national character education. This study contributes to the field by providing empirical evidence on the integration of local cultural elements into digital educational tools, positioning digital games as a strategic medium for actualizing the Profil Pelajar Pancasila through engaging and contextually meaningful learning experiences.     The Application of Qur'anic Discovery Learning Model in Nurturing the “Scientific Attitude” Character of Fifth Grade Students in Elementary School

    Technological developments exert a profound influence on all sectors. Education plays a key role in shaping scientific attitudes in elementary school students. This study aims to describe the implementation of the Qur'ani discovery learning model in training the scientific attitude character of grade V students in elementary schools. The present study adopts a qualitative research approach, specifically a case study design. The research was conducted from July to December 2022. The research subjects were fifth-grade teachers and students at SDIT Lukman Al Hakim International Yogyakarta. The data collection techniques employed included interviews, observations, and documentation. The Lankshear and Knobel model was utilised to analyse the data. The validity of the data was established through the utilisation of subject triangulation and method triangulation techniques. The findings revealed that the implementation of the Qur'ani discovery learning model in training students' scientific attitudes in elementary schools consists of a 7M learning cycle, including admiring, appreciating, researching, realising, realising, collaborating, actualising, and giving. The study experience will be more meaningful if it is carried out with various learning activities both inside and outside the classroom, so that the character of scientific attitudes can be formed in primary school students

    Analysis of the Influence of Knowledge Levels and Public Perceptions on the Decision to Choose Murabaha Financing at Islamic Banks

    This study aims to analyze the influence of the level of knowledge about murabahah financing (X1) and perception of murabahah financing (X2) on the decision to choose murabahah financing (Y) among the community in Surabaya. The research employs a quantitative approach with descriptive analysis. Sampling technique using the Slovin formula yielded a sample size of 400 individuals from the Surabaya community. Data collection was conducted through questionnaires and analyzed using data quality tests, classical assumption tests, hypothesis testing, and multiple linear regression analysis. The results indicate that both the level of knowledge about murabahah financing and the perception of murabahah financing have a positive and significant effect, both partially and simultaneously, on the decision to choose murabahah financing among the community in Surabaya

    Full Reserve System and Islamic Banking System Proposal: A Comparative Study of Fractional Reserve Free-Banking Theory

    This article aims to compare the fractional reserve free-banking theory. The emergence of these theories is due to the impact of fractional reserve banking on the crisis and bubble economies. So that in seeing this phenomenon, the thoughts of Positive Money and the New Economics Foundation, Narrow Banking, LPB (Limited Purpose Banking), and the Chicago Plan together contribute controversial ideas to the banking monetary system, namely in the form of fractional reserve free-banking. According to some of these thoughts, the current source of modern economic instability lies in the fractional reserve banking system that is applied in commercial banking throughout the world through money creation capabilities, so that the money supply shifts from its equilibrium point. The implications of the intermediary function make Islamic banks also face the risk of 'too big to fail', considering the pattern of Islamic banks is still intermediary. This means that liquidity risks and bank runs are very likely to occur. This is reinforced by the more varied products of Islamic banks compared to conventional banks, so there needs to be an effort so that Islamic banks transform themselves from fractional reserve banking to fractional reserve free-banking with the A-F model.Artikel ini bertujuan untuk membandingkan teori Fracational Reserve Free-banking. Munculnya teori-teori tersebut disebabkan oleh dampak fractional reserve banking pada krisis dan bubble economy. Sehingga dalam melihat fenomena tersebut, pemikiran Positive Money dan New Economics Foundation, Narrow Banking, LPB (Limited Purpose Banking) dan Chicago plan bersama-sama menyumbangkan pemikiran kontroversial terhadap sistem moneter perbankan, yaitu berupa Fracational Reserve Free-banking. Karena menurut beberapa pemikiran tersebut, sumber ketidakstabilan ekonomi modern saat ini terletak pada sistem fractional reserve banking yang diterapkan di perbankan komersial di seluruh dunia melalui kemampuan penciptaan uang, sehingga jumlah uang beredar bergeser dari titik ekuilibriumnya. Tidak berbeda dengan permasalahan Bank Konvensional, Bank Syariah juga menghadapi risiko 'too big to fail', mengingat pola Bank Syariah masih bersifat intermediary. Artinya, risiko likuiditas dan bank runs sangat mungkin terjadi. Hal ini diperkuat dengan produk Bank Syariah yang lebih bervariasi dibandingkan dengan Bank Konvensional, sehingga perlu adanya upaya agar bank syariah melakukan transformasi dari fractional reserve banking menjadi fractional reserve free-banking dengan model A-F

    Organizational Effectiveness of The Indonesia Halal Industrial Estate

    Halal Industrial Estates were built in Indonesia for the purpose of making Indonesia the center of the world's halal destinations. Halal Industrial Estates that have received licenses include the Halal Industrial Park Sidoarjo (HIPS), East Java. HIPS has only been operating for 3 years. As one of the industrial estates that focuses on MSME business investors, HIPS deserves the spotlight of this research regarding the extent of organizational effectiveness that has been implemented. On the one hand, HIPS has been able to demonstrate its organizational effectiveness by obtaining business actors who invest in the area. Products produced by business actors in the HIPS area can be guaranteed halal because from the beginning of entering the area they must be halal certified. Although indeed the quantity of investors in HIPS has not been maximized to make HIPS the main barometer of Indonesia's halal destinations in the eyes of the world.Kawasan Industri Halal dibangun di Indonesia untuk tujuan menjadikan Indonesia sebagai pusat destinasi halal dunia. Kawasan Industri Halal yang sudah mendapat izin diantaranya adalah Halal Industrial Park Sidoarjo (HIPS) Jawa Timur. HIPS baru beroperasi selama 3 tahun. Sebagai salah satu kawasan industri yang fokus pada investor pelaku usaha UMKM, HIPS patut menjadi sorotan penelitian ini terkait sejauh efektivitas organisasi yang telah dilaksanakan. Di satu sisi, HIPS telah mampu menunjukkan efektivitas organisasinya dengan memperoleh pelaku usaha yang berinvestasi di kawasan tersebut. Produk yang dihasilkan oleh pelaku usaha di kawasan HIPS dapat dijamin kehalalannya karena dari awal masuk kawasan sudah harus bersertifikasi halal.     Penelitian ini berfokus pada mengkaji peran kepribadian proaktif dalam meningkatkan kompetensi guru di Madrasah, dengan studi kasus di MI Hasanuddin Krajan, Satreyan, Kec. Maron, Kabupaten Probolinggo, Jawa Timur. Tujuan penelitian adalah untuk memahami bagaimana kepribadian proaktif guru dapat dimoderasi oleh berbagai kegiatan dan program pendidikan yang difasilitasi oleh lembaga, serta mengidentifikasi faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi motivasi dan kemampuan guru dalam mengembangkan diri. Penelitian ini menggunakan jenis penelitian deskriptif dengan pendekatan kualitatif, yang melibatkan teknik pengumpulan data seperti wawancara mendalam, observasi partisipatif, dan studi dokumentasi. Data dianalisis menggunakan analisis tematik untuk mengidentifikasi pola dan hubungan antar tema. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa guru dengan kepribadian proaktif lebih cenderung untuk meningkatkan kualifikasi akademik mereka ke jenjang yang lebih tinggi, berpartisipasi aktif dalam kegiatan pengembangan profesional, dan mengimplementasikan metode pengajaran inovatif di kelas. Kepribadian proaktif juga berperan penting dalam meningkatkan motivasi dan komitmen guru terhadap pengembangan diri, yang didukung oleh kepemimpinan yang proaktif dan lingkungan sekolah yang mendukung. Selain itu, kegiatan seperti KKG, pelatihan, dan seminar terbukti efektif dalam memoderasi hubungan antara kepribadian proaktif dan peningkatan kompetensi guru. Implikasi penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa lembaga pendidikan perlu terus mengembangkan program dan kegiatan yang mendorong kepribadian proaktif, memberikan kesempatan bagi guru untuk berpartisipasi aktif, dan memberikan apresiasi yang layak atas prestasi mereka.     Language errors continue to be interesting research material to develop, especially language errors in foreign or second languages. This research aims to analyze errors in the pronunciation of the sound of the hijaiyah letters in the process of learning to read Arabic texts so that the results of this analysis can be an improvement for Arabic language teachers. This research uses descriptive qualitative research methods using several data analysis processes, namely data presentation, data reduction, data verification and drawing conclusions. The results of the research show that phonological errors in reading Arabic texts by class VI students at MI Nurus Salam Pamekasan have several forms, namely changing the sound of certain letters into the sound of other letters which are almost similar in articulation, omitting the sound of certain letters and/or omitting certain sound signs

    Implikasi Desain Kurikulum Melalui Kajian Literasi Bahasa Arab Siswa Madrasah Ibtidaiyah

    This research discusses the needs of students in learning Arabic language at Madrasah Ibtidaiyah, focusing on MI Islamiyah Kedungbondo, Balen Subdistrict, Bojonegoro. A qualitative research method was used involving a case study and participant students from grade 5. Data were collected through structured surveys covering students' skill levels, difficulties, and needs in Arabic language. The results showed variation in students' skill levels, with the majority at beginner to intermediate levels, and some facing difficulties in certain aspects. Students' needs include vocabulary improvement, understanding of grammar, and more fluent speaking skills. The implications of these findings are that teaching staff can design more effective learning strategies and adjust teaching methods to meet students' needs in learning Arabic language. This has significant implications for improving the quality of Arabic language education at Madrasah Ibtidaiyah
